No wonder Denald has gone out of business.
He was always fighting a losing battle. You can't parody a living human parody. It cancels itself out which is why 99% of Denald didn't work

Denalds demise might also stem from the fact that Trump has become ever crazier the longer time has progressed from ~2015. At the start of the republican primaries he still thought he needed to adhere to some of the normal political rules (which was when denald began if I remember correctly). I perceived him as becoming crazier when he noticed that his craziness was helping him (attacking other republicans at the time). By the time he faced Hillary he had already upped it a couple of notches, but not to "Tim Apple", "Rush Limbaugh talks for 3hours, without a phone call, isn'T that amazing?" levels.

I guess whoever ran that account just gave up at some point.

Definitely. Peak Denald happened when there was still shock value in Trump’s tweets. Once everyone got used to Trump’s Twitter idiocy Denald started to lose his edge.

If this is true, this would have been part of Cohen's plea bargain? If he did provide something as good as this, I'm not sure how he is facing significant prison time considering Manafort is getting away with barely little for decades of fraudulence and witness tampering.

Its been reported for a while that Mueller has known what really happened. If he does know and Cohen corroborated it, then that's fairly damning against Trump.

The post earlier about the missing dockets and the suggestion that Manafort had actually contributed much more than has been disclosed and that his sentence reflects that was interesting reading.

There does feel like there is something much larger and much more serious playing out in the background. We’ve heard so many hints of what Trump has done over the years and his links to Russia along with the GOP also being caught up in it. If even a tenth of it is actually true, the seriousness just cannot be overstated. Mueller and the career staff in the DOJ and intelligence services will want to make sure a stop is put to it and that it can’t happen again.

I think that’s why the info that has dropped and the prosecutions that have come have been handled so delicately and even humoured trump’s “no collusion” claims. They know that there is a good chance he will pull the plug on Mueller and the senate won’t protect him. It’s a game of cat and mouse and the cat has to let the mouse and the cat can only win if he lets the mouse think he’s winning.

It could mean very little or there could also be pressure from the DoJ to push the investigation towards an ending so all hands are on deck for that.
Could be but this is the first time SC have not had time to comply with a court ruling. Add that to Trumpty’s Twitter tantrum on Sunday and other things that have already been revealed this week it does give the impression that things at the SC are suddenly moving at a fast rate. Would have expected Trump/WH to mention that it was “winding down” or coming to “a close” as they did in February but that hasn’t happened.

This is just pathetic from Comey.

No, Comey is absolutely right and has been consistent in his views from the start.

He works on facts and evidence, he doesn’t want the POTUS to be a Russian agent. He just wants the truth to be revealed and justice to prevail. He’s not and has never been, as Trump puts it, an angry Democrat.

How is it pathetic from Comey? He's saying he wants the investigation to be done properly according to the principles of US law, irrespective of the eventual conclusions. Isn't that exactly what you'd expect someone who believes in the rule of law and the FBI's role in investigations to say.
