This is weird. Or is the a case of the word AND being deceptive?Andy Carroll and Kevin Nolan scored more hat-tricks than Cristiano Ronaldo in the PL.
Is it AC > Ronaldo AND KN > Ronaldo?
Or
AC + KN > Ronaldo?

Willy Boly and Saul Bamber are actually the same player playing for two clubs.
Nouveau riche clubs saved the EPL!Holy shit.

Sanchez hasn't been played up front though...But Macheda has the best rate compared two how much they played.
Macheda made a goal every 237,8min he played.
Sanchez has made a goal every 272min he's played so far.
True, but I only added stats relevant to their discussion, I didn't start comparing their ratios.Sanchez hasn't been played up front though...
Arrigo Sacchi would've been proud of them last year.Burnley finished 7th last season and scored 36 league goals.
They're currently 17th but they're on 35, and have almost surpassed last season's tally with a number of games still remaining.
That's just an opinion, it's not a fact.Yanks understand football as well as fans from traditional football countries.
That is a crazy statisticBurnley finished 7th last season and scored 36 league goals.
They're currently 17th but they're on 35, and have almost surpassed last season's tally with a number of games still remaining.
Capello even more. He won Serie A in 93/34 with Milan scoring the same 36. In 86/87 Como finished 9th and scored 16 all season.Arrigo Sacchi would've been proud of them last year.
That's a good one.Shaun Wright Phillips won more caps for England than his dad. More of a travesty than surprising I suppose.
Its a post fact world. That's just an opinion, it's not a fact.
Yes that's how I meant it, based on talent more than anything. There was Ferdiinand, Cole, Fowler and Collymore to contend with at various times for Ian Wright too. That's a good one.
Ian Wright was undoubtedly a better player (albeit much different) but I'd say England were stronger then and he had more competition for places (First Lineker, then Shearer, Sheringham, and later Owen)
Also bizarre is the fact that they only won 5 of their final 21 league games...and those wins literally came in five successive games! Which is baffling. That is a crazy statistic
Wow. Last season they scored 5 of those goals at OT and Stamford bridge.Burnley finished 7th last season and scored 36 league goals.
They're currently 17th but they're on 35, and have almost surpassed last season's tally with a number of games still remaining.
Paisley had the distinct advantage that he was assistant to Shankly and merely refined what was already there. He also only had to beat average European teams like Moenchengladbach and Roma, whilst United had Bayern and all time greats Barca to deal with. No disrespect to him, Paisley was one of the first British managers to make possession count and beat Europeans at their own game. Great manager with the boot room as back up but Fergie had a much harder job, in that he had to unravel a Fat Ron’s drinking club mentality and only then, was he able to start building his own team from scratch. Paisley already had a title winning team that were recently champions. United hadn’t won it for over two decades.A better way to put it is: At his peak, Bob Paisley was more dominant than Sir Alex Ferguson
And Juventus got theirs from Notts County.Barcelona got their colours from FC Basel.
AC Milan used to have a cricket team.
Neither United/Newton Heath, or Manchester City were the first Manchester team to enter the FA Cup. It was a team just called Manchester FC who are now a rugby club, they used to play both.
Don’t say that too loudly on here!Ashley Young is older than Antonio Valencia Took me by surprise when I heard it the other day, given that one can't do much anymore, and the other is a rather competent all-rounder.
I rate him, always have Come at me! He never faffs about with contracts, he takes a pay drop to stay at the club, and always seems to do decently when I see you play.Don’t say that too loudly on here!
