Do we think Neymar would have hurt us more had he been the fit one out of the two? Personally I think we would have absolutely hated playing against him in this tie. The kind of 'cant take the ball of him' player we tend to struggle against.

Very punchable face this kid has. Would be a lot less punchable if he was in our colours that’s for sure

Assist, plus heroic efforts from both De Gea and Smalling to deny him a goal. While having a bad game by his standards.

Awful and shite is very harsh.
Heroic effort? He stumbled and fell to the ground. De Gea didn't really do anything and Smalling was only able to catch up because Mbappe went to the ground.

As good as this kid is, this game shows his weaknesses. He's got incredible movement (as seen at his assist) and he has to be a dream striker for every midfielder there is but I really can't see talents of the bracket he's supposed to be in (R9, Messi) showing that many technical flaws in one game.

If we both play that tie without injuries; Neymar is still in Herrera's pocket.

"Rashford is better than Mbappe"

"Tuchel is overrated"

"If anything PSG was the lucky team"

"Herrera would've had Neymar in his pocket"

Love it.

Nothing tops 2ndtouch’s claim that our sole contribution was throwing 11 players on the pitch. That was bitterness at its best.

Against Man Utd. this wednesday, he looked like '90s Ronaldo but missing his chances.

Je ne suis pas parfait indeed. Still he has huge potential, already a WC champion, and he's destined for UCL/Balloon d'Or glory...as soon as he leaves Ligue1...

It's the kind of player that SAF would have signed after months of enthusiasm, promises and adulation.

I don’t know how people can say he will never be Ronaldo good, he is already one of the best strikers in the world and he’s only 19!! He can only get better, he’s the biggest teen talent by far right now.

As soon as Cristiano and Messi retires he will be one of the top candidates for the Ballon d'Or.

Now saying that, I think he has to get out of that farmers league and I think it will happen sooner than later and when it happens every big team will be interested.

He will be in Madrid in 2 years. I don't think anyone else have any chance. Madrid are bound to have their 'revolution' soon, and they have enough money to spend. As much as I would love to have both Dembele and Mbappe, there is no chance for us. Getting de Ligt will erase the pain somewhat.

Neymar is still their best player for me, but his reputation is definitely damaged by the fact he's playing in France. History will remember him as a hugely talented player who went to PSG for the money. Maybe he didn't like living in Messi's shadow at Barca, but playing in La Liga as Barca's 2nd best player, winning the league and still being in the CL is a greater achievement than being the talisman for PSG.

Mbappe is young and can still forge a great career with the truly elite clubs of Europe. Usually a player of that age would be able to learn a lot from all the game time and exposure, but such is Mbappe's rapid development that he is already playing against inferior players every week.
Well didn't he cry when talking about Messi? It doesn't sound like someone who didn't like living in Messi's shadow.

Comfortably the best young talent in the world for me. That's the case for the vast majority of people. I like his flair, but wish he'd cut stuff like this out. One of the worst dives I've seen in a very long time.

I've always said he was a big diver. Good that it's getting more and more noticed now.

Good to see him get a yellow carton for that. Having to carry around orange juice for the rest of the game seems a fitting punishment for diving.

But how much of a cnut do you have to be to dive for a penalty in added time, when your team's three goals up?

Too much time spent with Neymar I'm afraid, a shame.
They say you become a culmination of the three people you spend the most time with. I see 1 of those three people is Neymar and you can tell.

The feck! Not like you need a goal or something. 4-1 up and it was injury time!

Those are some really bad dives. Not contact whatsoever, really embarrassing. Maybe he matures and outgrows this phase, just sad he's got horrible mentors at club.
