Always had his moments but looks like an average keeper now. Spurs need an upgrade.

He’s been shaky this season and is getting older but I don’t think the keeper position is a priority for spurs.

Hasn’t been good enough for a few years now, I don’t want to knee jerk and blame him for the loss today (the whole team was very poor) but he did himself no favours diving in slow motion.

This guy hasn't been top class since 2016

He is just average keeper, makes so many mistakes.

He always seems to make a mistake at Anfield or Etihad.

Genuinely been one of the worst keepers in the league this season. Crucial that Poch prioritizes replacing him over the summer.

Both he and Neuer seem to be showing that sweeper keepers have less longevity. Once an injury costs them a yard of pace their judgement completely goes to pot.

fecking wankstain. Imagine not catching that ball like. It was moving slowly. I have faith my Sunday League 'keeper would catch that with ease.

Shouldn't be replaced. Should be brought out back and put out of his misery.

Not sure what happened to him because he wasn't far off the best keepers in his first couple of seasons. Really unimpressive for so long now.

He’s been terrible for three seasons now.

I remember being baffled people called him the best in the league or even one of the best, and that was back when he was good. He's a passable at best keeper and Spurs need to get rid while his stock is still somewhat high.

he's never been in the same class as De Gea. Ederson, Allison and Cortois all more dependable

I thought he was excellent for a long time but seems to have gone to pot in the last 18 months or so.

This. I used to be shocked when people on this very forum would argue that we should buy this clown when Madrid buy DDG. He was very average then and, at this moment in time, I genuinely think he is the worst keeper in the Premier League and, yes, I have seen Joe Hart play.

Feet up at home.
There are lots of rated keepers on the decline. Could name over a dozen.

I would like our next keeper to be Henderson sooner rather than later. He's the business.

Not one person was surprised in the league thread when it happened; many had even called it at least an hour before - you just expect it from him.

Not sure about that.

Made an horrendous error in the World Cup final.
Sure, that's the one people will remember but the game was already won. De Gea's made some errors when the game was very much up for grabs. Lloris was outstanding in Russia outside of that moment.

I honestly can't remember him doing anything outside of that moment.

Not saying you're wrong, just don't remember.

Massive saves against Belgium and especially a double save against Uruguay are two moments that really stand out in my mind.

That being said, I'm not arguing he's been complete ass since then.

He always had a mistake in him. But the frequency has increased recently.

Yep, needs replacing.

People say it's not a priority, but he's costing us a goal every other bloody week. You can't have a keeper you can't remotely rely on.

He was a good keeper for us, but for a while now he's been less than consistent. I had hoped it was a poor run but it doesn't look that way any longer.

So many times he gets a hand to the ball or *nearly* makes the save but it goes through him anyway. The odd great save/game doesn't make up for it.
