Do you watch them a lot?

Thauvin gonna score 15 again and Whoscored has him at 5 goals and 3 assists in the 10 games he's played on the right in a proper front 3 like he could here.

It feels like if we can't get Sancho, he's gotta be in the list of 3-5 names that make sense as alternatives based on age and production.
No I don't watch Marseille at all actually. Just purely going off stats I'm afraid.

Sarr would be my number 1 pick. Calabria, Meunier, Lala & Atal make up the rest of the list.

Off topic but re Thauvin, I agree with you that he'd be in the top 5/6 after Sancho.

I'd place Dybala, Pepe & Suso ahead of him. But Thauvin's probably the best option out of T. Hazard & Chiesa for me.

If we are serious about winning the leauge then £40-50m on Joshua Kimmich please.
Didn’t Everton pay £40mil. for Sigurdsson? And us £50mil. for Fred? How would we ever get a 24 year old German international Bayern player with 40 national caps and a contract running till 2023?

Am I missing something? Does he want out?

I don't what you guys think but Thomas Meunier was caught on instagram liking the publication on United yesterday win causing some outrage for PSG fans.

So he's 27 or 28, known United fan (still talking about it past 2 years). He has a charismatic persona. Really a great attacking game. I think the whole brazilian crew backing Dani Alves and Tuchel bringing Kehrer somewhat where too much for him mentality wise.

I think PSG can sell him for not so much also let time for Dalot to mature/act as concurrence.

In this order;

1. Wan Bisaka - £40M
2. Thomas Meunier - £30M
3. Shamus Coleman - £25M

Keep Timothy Fosu Mensah and D Dalot to learn and compete with Youngey as the elder statesman. I also think Fosu Mensah can play as a mobile CDM back up.

I'm almost wondering if it makes sense to buy Wan Bassaka and Zaha as they already have a chemistry and they are PL proven as well.

I think Wan-Bissaka is the stand out option.A Young attacking minded who can be moulded allowing him and Dalot to battle it out at RB for the next 10 years.

If Ole is serious about using 3 at the back at times the way Spurs and Arsenal's managers do, Wan-Bissaka makes even more sense and we should spend the money.

Shaw-LCB-Lindelof-WanBissaka-Dalot

at least looks like it has potential to be a strong unit with everyone in a comfortable position for them.

Max aarons and wan-bissaka would be the English candidates. Both look very good. Aarons in particular I like.

I only know about Aarons because he has a high potential on FIFA 19. These guys we're being linked with are young. What does that mean for Dalot in your opinion?

I'm not sure there's a better option than Wan-Bissaka. Pay the money and bring the kid early on to settle that problem at last.

Im just wondering what his primary role will be. He's shined and looked more natural in that RW role IMO
He can occasionally fill in on the wing but he's not a winger IMO. He's a full back or wing back. His pace is terrific and coming from the full/wing back areas that's really effective. I'd prefer a player with more guile in the wing areas though. Sancho would be ideal.

I just don't think Coleman is who we should be aiming for. If we was good enough for United how come he hasn't been hounded by other clubs. Just think we need to aim a lot higher.

Meunier is surely the one to go for. I don't think he's as good as many others on here seem to believe, but he has a year left on his deal, has a good on-pitch relationship with Lukaku, and would probably aid, rather than hinder, Dalot's development. A no-brainer really.

All these people asking for Wan-Bassaka need to stop and think. We just signed a new young RB this past summer. Why would we go and get another new young RB? The only way we go for him is if we sell Delot and I don't see that happening. If we are to bring in another RB it will be a veteran, which we already have in Young. So no, we won't be going for a right back. There are many other areas that we need to address first...

Dalot is ready. As is mctominay. Spending 100m on wan bissaka and Declan Rice would be typical of our rubbish organisation. We need a right sided attacker and cm and back up full backs.

Even if we buy wan bissaka he is not good on crosses and being an attacking fullback.

@SER19 How can you tell that Dalot is ready? He has played 5-6 games for us as RB and not been convincing defensively. I agree that he has the potential to develop into a solid player, and has shown his quality in some situations, but I would not be comfortable with him as our starting RB next season. If he was ready to be our nr. 1 RB he would have taken Young's place by now. Young is just not good enough, and have to be replaced as soon as possible.

However, I totally agree that we should stay way clear of Declan Rice as he is not the type of player we need. Far too defensive as a DM for us, and no better than McTominay.

Wan-Bissaka made his way into the Palace team towards the end of last season, and has played brilliantly in PL for this entire season. He has far more experience than Dalot as RB at this level, and has been rock solid for Palace. I know that his role has been mainly defensively, but I think this is more related to his instructions rather than his abilities. With Zaha and Townsend as wingers and Van Aanholt as LB, the conservative Hodgson obviously wants Wan-Bissaka to stay back. Wan-Bissaka would instantly be our best RB and strengthen our defense.

I don’t understand the concerns over Dalot, defensively, my self.

Clearly he’s young and still learning but he’s made plenty of good tackles in and around our box and demonstrated a good understanding of positioning.

He’s not the finished article, by any means, but given his limited game time overall I think he’s well developed and would learn very quickly in the first team.

I see this guy as a quality player and no reason to hold him back.

If we can get AWB for a low price it's a good purchase. Seems better defensively and all 3 full backs will get plenty of playing time. It also means Young never has to set foot on the pitch again. Dalot can fill in at LB and on the wings. Would be great squad depth.

If we could buy great wingers I wouldn't prioritise AWB however I don't see us buying Sancho or Hudson Odoi and the idea of going into next season with no proper wingers and only Dalot and Shaw at full back is terrifying.

People forgetting Sidibe of Monaco. French international RB with the right pedigree. Would be willing to leave the chaos that is Monaco for sure.

Meunier and Dalot is the ticket, Dalot will blossom into the top RB we need IMO and Meunier will give us proven, experienced quality now while also having shown he's a team player who wouldn't moan about rotation, a RB version of Herrera.

Dalot, clearly. We could go galactico and bring in a RB for 50m but we've got a good one now. Not the polished gem, but a footballer who if given a proper run of games this season (and giving Young the rest that he has earned :annoyed:) Dalot will be ready next season.

The greater needs are RW and CB, maybe another two midfielders if we're losing both Pogba and Herrera, and we clearly need to spend big for those positions.

This!
I hope all the reports of us scouting him are true, must be available for 30 mill or something close to that
