That header aside he had a good game in not an ideal position for him. He always makes an impact on games which is promising.

Felt sorry for him. No idea why Ole put him on the left and he was clearly uncomfortable and always trying to play it with his right foot.

HELLO
He has a very promising future. Don't know in what position but he's just a natural footballer.

Losing to Comeback Winning!
 Kid got balls, one of the few players that dare to have a go at Barca's defense fearlessly.

And he actually is a good threat with nice delivery.

Defending is an issue though, but for sure he'll improve that aspect of his game, no worries.

Needs to play right back. At 19, he is already considerably better than Young.

He will RB at the weekend right? Young is suspended? He'll probably play RB in the Nou camp too as Shaw is suspended and bird shit will play LB.

Will probably play at RB in the Nou Camp and Darmain on the left.

We could play three at the back and start Rashord and Martial and Lukaku.

I like this kid a lot. He has a lot of personality on the pitch, he doesn't hide or always take the safe option.

He had a bad miss but he contributed far more than any of our attacking subs did going forward.

Yes! He's awesome. Unbelievable he doesn't start over Young at right back.
He still has some mistakes in him over a full 90, especially defensively. Young has been ineffective going forward but I guess Ole still trusts him for his experience.

We'll rue the day he came on and looked competent on the wing. We're going to spend the next few years converting him into a winger, going through multiple rightbacks for millions of pounds, then wonder where it all went wrong.

It's amazing this kid can't get a run at right back when the competition is Ashley Young.

He's got quality and a great mentality, playing out of position he still had a decent game outside of the header he should have scored.

If he isn’t 1st choice ahead of young next season there is something seriously wrong. Great performance bar that header

He was one of the best performers. Might as well play him on the right and see if it's worth spending 40-50m on that position this summer. It's clear our main problems are Ashley Young and a real lack of cutting edge near the opposition box.

Wish we had more players that could cross the ball like he can. He is already pretty good, he could be awesome in a couple of years time. I like the fact that he isn't scared of the occasion, it doesn't seem to bother him in the slightest.

God I hope not. Why not just play the kid in his proper position. He looks a player and the less said about Young the better. With Shaw on the other side we could use him bombing down the right.

He needs to play. Now.

It's good to see Ole showing alot of faith in him, in big games considering he's barely turned 20. I thought he played well, and hopefully we'll get to see him make the RB spot his own.

Dalot is going to have a very bright future. 19 yr old and doesn't seemed to be fazed by the occasion at all.

Here, there, everywhere...
There is no point in getting another RB, imo; especially Wan Bisakka, who isn't good enough going forward. This guys needs to be given a chance next season.

If anything we are more in need of a back-up LB then a starting RB. Him and Shaw should be our starting FB's with Young and a new LB as back-ups.

I don't get the ravings about his performance last night. He really didn't offer anything in particular going forward and his defensive side is still quite weak, even for a winger... I think he's a great talent though but can't see anything special he did last night. Should not be blamed though, not his position and did his best etc etc.

No idea why they didn't switch him to RB and sub off young, put Shaw to LB and leave Martial/Rashford/Lingard/Pogba as a front 4.

Dalot played very well considering he's not a left winger, doubt he's ever played that role before. He looked a bit nervous at the start but really grew into the game and was giving Semedo a real tough match.

I hope with Young's ban coming up he can really cement himself as our RB, as we desperately need somebody who can put a good ball in and get up and down the pitch with confidence.

He took the phrase "putting the ball back where it came from" a bit too literally for that header yesterday...

Anyway, away from that missed chance, i thought he was pretty bad overall... his crossing was pretty bad, and his decision making wasn't great at all.

I didn't think he was that great to be honest, decent performance from a young man who has loads to learn.

I'm really liking what I see of Dalot. The biggest encouragement I see from him is he's always looking forward. To get the ball in offensive areas.
He's also, not only a good crosser of the ball, a good link-up player.

He reminds me abit of John O'Shea, more so in the 2002/2003 season. But unlike the tall Irishman Dalot will continue to be a fullback/wide player.

People want us to bench this guy for Wan Bissaka. Am I missing something?

He should start against midtable teams in the RB position. His positioning is poor but he'll improve on it only if he plays regularly in that position. We should develop him like TAA. They have similar qualities I feel.

To be fair, Wan Bissaka is a lot further along in his development. He’s a top full back and a much better defender than Dalot (at the moment).

Dalot needs game time and it will be farcical if he doesn’t get it at RB for the rest of the season.
