You'll get a dicking at Anfield tomorrow, probably will lose at Old Trafford too. By the end of the season I expect to be 4-7 points ahead of you, and we spent no money in the summer. You're barely competent considering the spending on your squad/your wage bill.

100m won't replace Hazard, not in this market. And if you don't get CL football nobody close to as good as Hazard will even consider joining you.

I don't care what precedent has been set. The law has to be laid down to cheating clubs like you who consistently feel they can flout the rules, time to make an example of somebody.
You aint finishing no 4-7 pts ahead lad. The CL is not the be all and end all to players like it once was. Seriously, its all money now. Thats me being genuine. Players go for the money now as oppose to CL like previous yrs. Our anfield record is alright, i dont expect a dicking tomorrow but would take a draw. I mean we only drew with them at home due to a Sturridge worldy.

And by the way, if you set a precedent how can you go against it? The precedent is FIFA making a rod for their own back. Every club now will say "well you didnt do X Y and Z for barca and madrid" They have fecked themselves

Anyway, when the cabinet gets rid of that dust...

You'll be shit. You're barely competent now and being dragged to a top 4 race because Hazard is unreal.

Fact is unless you manage a EL win you'll be without CL again next season. The odd league/FA cup win is all you can look forward to as a club for the forseeable future without Roman's money flooding in.

Your ban should not be lifted, and hopefully will not.
You will lose your manager sometime in the next 2 years. You will lose your best players to clubs who will pay them better in the next two years. Your revenue isn't close to ours and won't ever be (even with your toilet shaped stadium) because you are globally insignificant. We are always challenging and winning trophies, you sometimes challenge but always fail to win trophies. Enjoy this period because this is the height of your success.

You drew with them when you were in title winning form, a hell of a lot has changed. Your big game away record is a fecking disaster.

I don't care about Barca/Madrid. Sick of clubs like you thinking you can bend the rules, they apply to you. Maybe they've realised letting the clubs postphone the ban doesn't really punish the club and it's time to actually bring in serious repercussions, if that starts with Chavski then so be it.

You realise being in CL gives you a significant revenue boost, right? Consistently don't make it and with Roman withdrawing from the club it's unlikely you're going to be able to spend big money.

Oh man a trophy joke that one will never get old, how trophy laden were you before the gangster's money came flooding in?

Sure, but like .. you're actually losing your best player this season? Not just baseless comparisons, like it's actually going to happen.

And since we'll have CL money + the new stadium, if it continues in this way then yes our revenue will be very close to yours. Especially if we continue to reach the quarters of the competition at least.

A stadium dig, while you play in that run down ol' Stamford Bridge? Your new stadium plans looked like a prison complex, think I prefer the toilet bowl tbh.

'We are always challenging' yeah, in recent history because billions got injected in to your club unnaturally by a Russian gangster who can't even attend your matches any longer. You were doing feck all beforehand, and will go back to doing feck all when he's inevitably forced to sell. Especially without Hazard and without Europe.

I will come back to this post after the Summer transfer window and duly laugh at your stupidity after we spend over £200m on players post Hazard.

If you get CL football, maybe.

If not I imagine you'll spend the Hazard money and a bit on top .. but replacing a player like that is nigh on impossible without European football.

Who saw Chelsea losing another hard away game eh....

Now six defeats since December in league and cup on the road in which Chelsea haven't even scored a goal.

Man. United and Leicester to come....

Didn't know they hadn't scored a goal! We really should be beating them.

Spurs 1-0 Chelsea (league cup)

Arsenal 2-0 Chelsea

Bournemouth 4-0 Chelsea

Man. City 6-0 Chelsea

Everton 2-0 Chelsea

Liverpool 2-0 Chelsea

They probably weren't going to score at Cardiff either until offside goals suddenly allowed.

tbf Chelsea played really well today and if Rudiger doesn't get injured that first goal might not have happened

Man. United dipped a bit recently but I thought you did a right good job on them at Stamford Bridge in the cup, indeed you should've beaten them there under Mourinho so I actually think you match up well against them these days given you've beaten them last few years at OT.

Fancy United to win that tbh, it's whether you can also win at Everton as obviously the City game is going to be thrown now I take it? ;)

We don't even look half the team when we beat Chelsea away. We should have lost to both Watford and West Ham at home given how we played. Utd v Chelsea is genuinely a 50/50 game, I don't think they'll be as wasteful as they were today. Hazard will probably play one last game out of his mind in Chelsea colors vs us. He always torments us.

Nothing will be thrown away, I just think no matter how well we play City will beat us. Pep was tactically too smart for Mourinho, what chance does Ole have? My bigger worry is game v Everton away, small ground, loud crowd, early kick off. Straight after a possible beating in Barcelona.

Sarri is not the man to grind results out away from home. We can still finish top 4 and / or win the Europa. Not sure there is much point us being the CL though as we'll just be making the numbers up.

Can't see us challenging City for the league anytime soon, they've under-performed at times this season yet still heading for 90+ points. Looks like they're getting Saul in as well to replace Fernandinho so they'll be even better next year.

Sarri is asking to get sacked. Some of the decisions he's making are nothing short of ludicrous. Playing Hazard in a position that he's been far from impressive in. Persisting with Jorginho despite him proving far from impressive. Playing Kante in a role he doesn't excel in. They should take him out of his misery.

Yep! He's in his own world. If Sarri was British/Irish everyone would have already seen it through him.

It must be the way he says the word 'system'.

You'll be back. Every couple of weeks you like to pop into this thread to post something negative.

You're like one of those Christian preachers banging on about how much they hate gay people whilst having a grinder account on the down-low. I'm not saying you're a closet Chelsea fan but I'd put good money on your Gmail password being "ilovejtandlamps4lyfe".
Tbf, I was a 100% blue today. All positivity from me but I was let down. Higuain is shite though.

I have the feeling both Conte and him have resorted to this in big games because Hazard is a defensive liability. Both seem(ed) to see a defensively committed winger as fundamentally important against equal/superior teams. Even at the cost of limiting their best offensive player.

Really? Chelsea are less patient than Manchester United with their shite managers, and he’s having a Moyes-esqe season.
Expectations were lower this season and there's uncertainty on the future (transfer ban or not).

Nothing would surprise me but I'll be amazed if he's gone before the end of the season.

If Hazard goes and we get a transfer ban, I would prefer to keep Sarri.

Got offered a ticket but a combination of CBA to travel to Liverpool and our record when I've gone (lost the last 4 I've been to) made it easy to say no. Least I'm not the reason we lost this time.

That's the worst case scenario. I would be devastated if something like that happened to United.

I'm blaming you then for the loss.

Higuain has been shite but I can't blame him for the loss today. Liverpool are good and we've been terrible away for a while.
I really was a true blue today, I felt JT and Lamps dna coursing through my veins. Meh, feck Liverpool, them winning it is a nightmare scenario.

He is not.

Moyes took a dominant, title winning side to seventh.

Sarri took a 5th placed Chelsea side to (currently) fourth. He's not been great and the football is dull as hell, but it's not even on the same level as Moyes.

I can see us winning the two remaining home games. Watford having on eye on the cup final and Burnley are seemingly safe. Game at OT and at Leicester going to be a big challenge though given our abysmal away form. Spurs having extra CL games and not much of a squad to rotate could help us. Finishing top 4 very up in the air. That being said, even if we're in CL I don't see us getting further than the first KO round with this team and Sarri.

We are fortunate to have the second leg of the EL semi final at home, makes it a bit easier. Need to go to keep it tight in the first leg in Germany, and then beat them at the bridge. If we get to the final against Arsenal / Valencia we have a good chance, could be Hazard's last game too so maybe will be extra motivated.

I see quite a few parallels between Chelsea and Utd these last few years

Both teams appears to be run by "business" people who don't really have a clue about actually building and maintaining a team. Both clubs are great at getting lucrative sponsorship deals and all things business but have no direction or long term planning, both teams have hired and fired managers who all have completely different tactics and style of play and while both teams have won trophies these last few years, there's been no consistency. Both teams also appear happy to offer new contracts to players who should really be deadwood and allowed to leave

Then you just need to look at the absolute clusterfeck of terrible buys we both make

Lindelof, Sanchez, Lukaku, Mkhitaryan, Darmian, Schewni, Falcao, Sncheiderlin, Di Maria, Drinkwater, Bakayoko, Morata, Zappacosta, Higuain, Barkley

The amount of crap we've signed in the last few years is pretty insane. Utd should have upgraded on the likes of Smalling, Young, Jones a long time ago yet they constantly see decent minutes and Chelsea should have upgraded on the likes of Pedro and Willian but both still see decent minutes

Both teams have no DOF and it shows.

Pedro has 11 goals this season, and has had a really good year. Willian has been inconsistent as hell, but he’s still decent. We have CHO coming through and needing game time, and we signed Pulisic for next season. Seems like the club are at least trying to think a bit more long term than they have in the past. Agreed about the DoF thing though.

I think Chelsea's biggest problem is going to be a striker... hazard might well be off... giroud looks likely to go... higuain has been underwhelming (and I'm not even sure with the transfer ban if they could make it a perm deal anyway)
That will leave (subject to the transfer ban being enforced this summer) morata being recalled when it seems he does not even want to be there (and again was underwhelming in his previous spell and presumably abraham and batshuayi recalled as well.

I think Willian pedro pulisic and CHO is a pretty decent set of creative attackers but they will need somebody central to bag the goals they will need
