There needs to be a wholesale this summer.. Only 5 of todays starting 11 should be here next summer.
Terrible performance.

Jones motm.
Fred and Dalot get a shout out.
DDG is having a torrid spell but he saved us just before the goal.

France - can't win anything with Swedish turnips
Rather fortunate win.

Pogba and Fred did well. DDG the Smalling then Jones.

Rojo sleeping for their goal

Mata at least won the penalty but didn't do much else.

Martial not a great day but at least involved in both penalties.

Lingard , as usual the biggest waste of space , the game just passes him by, hopefully he won't play on Tuesday. Please go away.

Bad performance, didn't deserve the win. Fred did well, Pogba did ok aswell.

Ball retention was poor, off the ball movement shocking, at times non existent. Predictable at times (no attack coming down the left). Decision making in the final third was erratic. The only time I heard Lukaku's name was when he was putting in crosses (which would be always cleared)

This was another horrible performance and they are repeating them selves. This team plays like a relegation team going forward as there are zero quality being shown for quite some time now. The players should be ashamed to play like that for a club like ours. Ole and Edward have a massive job to do in the summer.

That's up there for one of the most hollow wins I can remember.

Two penalties, one was probably outside the box. West Ham had a goal wrongly ruled out for offside and dominated us, missing loads of chances.

Difficult game, but we have a real fitness issue now that is hammering us. We need more players who do not panic.

We won't miss much even if we ship out the whole lot out of the club.

The best players lack the effort while the hardworking players lack the overall quality and we've some players who just lack both.

Rashford, Lukaku, Mata, Lingard, Pogba and Martial should all be hanging their heads. Couldn't create a good chance against sacks of potatoes let alone another football team.

At least with Lukaku Mata and Lingard they have the excuse of having no talent to begin with. Not sure what the other three's excuse is other than lack of effort and lack of focus.

Shots: 14-18
Pass accuracy: 79%-81%
Chances created: 8-13
Possession: 42%-58%

Criminal. Could pick out 10 players from this club I’d happily let leave for £0.

Anyway, three important points.

The same guy that nearly gifted west ham 2 goals?
2 goals? The back pass was because the other United player ran across his path. The other was a mistake, but you're going to get that when you're surrounded by crap players.

We could do that about Pogba as well. He gave away a few dumb passes today which led to their counter-attacks. Just because they didn't all end in shots doesn't make them better.

Shocking performance. Front 4 didn’t look like they had played with each other.

Didn’t test Fabianski from open play. Two games in a row we haven’t made the opposition keeper make a save. Just gone back to the same football under Mourinho and Van Gaal. Until there are significant player changes we are never ever going to progress.

Solskjær has a a blind-spot, and it definitely includes Lingard, and possibly Martial. Taking Lukaku off before either of those two was criminal.
Tactically it makes perfect sense. We wanted to play counter attacking football and that suits Martial and Lingard more than Lukaku.

Performance wise, you are proberly right.

Not a good game but i love that we get the 3 points that matter when the production media etc. are well prepared to talk about decisions going our way too much, us being lucky etc. It is a lot of that and I hate it because it is bullshit. You never hear anything about it when we are being robbed a lot more clearly than marginal decisions so its good we can stick it to them with the 3 points after a bad performance. Suck on that abus

I’m off to the Lingard performance thread to hear about movement and drive.

Woeful by so many but Fred for large periods of the game looked decent, Lukaku and Pogba as well. It’s just wrong that Lukaku is really the only person that can cross but he’s the one you want on the end of the crosses.
It's because our supposedly "right winger" always move to the center.

How we didn’t bottle that I’ll never know.

Awful performance.

3 points.

I can smell a lot of boiling piss from opposition fans, so that is one positive.
That's what 14-15 penalties this season? Being carried to the top four six this season, but you'll still find plenty moaning about 'lucky Liverpool'

One of the worst performances of the season (getting used to saying this of late) and Young wasn't even playing. Oh well, guess 3 points is 3 points.

What a relief. All about results now in the League. We clearly need to buy some more players for next season if we want to challenge.

No Shaw, no Lindelöf, no Matic, no McTominay, and no Rashford for most of the match. That kind of softens the blow.

I’m not sure if certain players are saving themselves for tuesday, or if we just have a general fatigue going... or maybe we just lack leaders, so when the group is struggling, nobody keeps us properly on our toes and focused.

At any rate it was hard to watch, and one could argue West Ham would be more deserving of three points after that. Fred again showed that he’s far too variable to be trusted centrally. Hopefully that’ll get better, because he’d been good lately, and started today pretty well.

Then again, I didn’t feel much better under Mou when we battered minnows at home and got a single point for our troubles. I’ll take this and look forward to a better performance on tuesday.

That was dire. Three points at the squeaky bum stage of the season as United are going all out for top four, but West Ham outplayed United.
Performance wise, as bad as anything witnessed in the years since Fergie left. Three points is the only positive, it could have been worse and United dropped one or all three.
United were poor all over the pitch, no cohesion and a complete lack of organisation.

Glad to see Fred doing better against the PL teams.

Thank God for the 3 points.

We look so much better against Barcelona. I was expecting us to have an upturn in performance but feck it. We still stay alive - just - for top 4.

We need major recruitment. It's quite clear after Moyes, LvG, Mourinho and Ole, that the manager's are not the sole problem. Many players just don't have what it takes. When they get outfought and outplayed by teams lower than them, then questions need to be asked. I want to see a cold hearted bastard in Ole this summer. Show me some of that Sir Alex brutality.

One of the worst performances of the season. We have been rubbish for more than a month now.

No chance of finishing in the top four unless we show massive improvement

Same type of performances we had under LVG and JM!

We need 5-6 players gone in the summer. Or at least not in the starting 11.

Young
Jones
Mata
Martial
Lingard
Matic
Andreas
hardly at fault for anything

anyway, our whole squad is not very good
we're stuck with them, we're stuck with the Glazers and Woodward and will be mediocre for many many more years
get used to it

Until you watch Utd it's hard to believe a PL team can pass so appallingly in opposition half. ok I get it we have awful players but we are talking non-league standard passing, and that is on a regular basis not just one off. I've given up hoping that our coaches can improve this aspect of the game so we have to have another clear out and revisit this in 18 months time when the next lot regress to the same level!

Lucky win against a poor side. Toothless again without the penalties. They had more possession, more shots. Dont know whats happened every player seems off form.
