I hope this group of cnuts don't turn Ole into a grumpy bastard like Jose ended up for us.

West Ham were the better side by some distance.

Most of the key decisions went our way. The offside goal that looked onside (just). The foul on Mata for the first penalty that seemed harsh.

Such a soft line-up. Fred, Lingard, Martial and Mata on the pitch at the same time. Barely seemed bothered to run back after losing possession.

Disappointed by Dalot. Beaten so many times by Masuaku. His own crosses got cut-out too.

Very grateful for the 3 points in a game where too many players looked well off their game. Whats happened to Martial? He was on fire a month or 2 back. Lingard looks really poor since returning from his injury lay off. Lukaku is just lukaku, technically not up to it imo.

We were far to open until we got the 2nd goal, allowing west ham to attack at will. They were very unlucky not to at least take a point.

Fred looked steady, pogba was a bit in and out, one minute making surging runs the next taking too many touches and giving the ball away. At least he has didtched the stupid penalty run up and scored both.

Not confident of top 4 on the last few games form but at least Ole has got us in with a chance when we looked to have none at all.

3 points are about the only positive of this game.
How many really great performances do you get approaching the end of a season? If you’re top then you find a way to win and it’s all; character and passion. When you’re not and you find a way to win, it’s shit, awful, negative etc.

Look we all know the squad is thin and is now with injuries and stagnation, operating at the optimum level. We can just hope we can win as many remaining games. Rebuilding has begun imo. We need to see what happens in summer and pre season

We're so poor in possession. The amount of times we give the ball away under no pressure is ridiculous.

That's what 14-15 penalties this season? Being carried to the top four six this season, but you'll still find plenty moaning about 'lucky Liverpool'
Shall we reel off the actual lucky breaks you've had this season?

I thought not.

3 pts the most important thing and we got that. So good day.

But is was the kind of display that unfortunately we have come to expect from us these days , apart from that good spell when Ole over , it has just been mediocrity the rest of the season.

It is disgraceful that club as big and successful as Utd has such a poor squad of players available to them considering we still spend big and pay very well.

We have been pretty bad for over 1.5 months now. There's still 1.5 months to go in the season. If we played in them as bad as the previous month, it'll be more than 3 months of being terrible. Hardly just end season business imo.

Thank you Paul Pogba. Very lucky to escape with three points. Poor performance by the team. Disappointed.

This game should have been easy the way we started and west ham didn't look interested and we should have closed the GD gap but no, we had Martial thinking this is fifa street, lingard being useless well his usual self, pogba pissing about, lukaku coming towards the ball when we were attacking their goal.

Just a joke and at the end when we scored the pen, these morons had a little team huddle..... after that pathetic performance, like they put in a great effort. Joke.

I’ve been saying it for a while now; Dalot is so overrated. He needs a good run in the u23s to develop

Holy Christ that was horrid. Gosh! How we won that I'll never know. Not even sure how or what to analyse. We might need something other than squeaky bum time to describe this run in. Come on lads...wake yourselves up!

does Martial think its beneath him to put effort in?, running out of patience at this point
His attitude is frankly terrible.
I really do wonder whether he actually enjoys the game.
He seems to play like he doesn’t want to be there.
Sullen is how I would describe him. Sullen and miserable.

This was the Watford performance, only 10 times worse. Some absolutely pathetic performances from some of the players. I can't understand why we are playing like this, considering how well we used to play before that PSG game. Nobody bothering to do anything, jogging with the ball, hardly creating anything, no press what so ever. Like if the couldn't care less. Especially Martial and Lingard, how they lasted the entire game is a mystery.

Had all the luck today, and barely deserved anything. If we don't improve drastically after the transfer window, and if the same average players are still at the club, then we are doomed.
I was thinking this and the only two things I can come up with is, fatigue from the massive amount of pressing we did in those games and a sense that teams might have sussed our tactics out. And we really didn't deserve to win today, i'm not even sure we deserved a point.

Shots: 14-18
Pass accuracy: 79%-81%
Chances created: 8-13
Possession: 42%-58%

Criminal. Could pick out 10 players from this club I’d happily let leave for £0.

Anyway, three important points.
Appalling. we have the highest wage bill in the league too I think.

Still can not understand why we could manage to win this match. Absolutely terrible. Rojo, Fred, Mata, Lingard, Lukaku... they were all invisible today. Disgrace performance.

That match was actually very similar to what we were seeing in Fergie’s later years.

Heaven on earth
Major surgery needed in the summer, especially in attack. We’re not winning the league with our current strike force, no chance.

Not sure why our first pen is that controversial... I think it's a definite penalty
It's because it's "us" - United - everything needs to be controversial. If it were Liverpool, people would be calling for a pen + red card for the defender.

And all those fecking ex-Pool commentators: feck off.

If we win playing badly, I won’t be bothered.

In the past this time of year we played crap but had the players to win it 1-0: cantona, Cole, RVN, RvP, Betbatov,Ronaldo and Rooney. We just don’t have the quality. For the moment
accept the wins and stop over analysing. We know it isn’t great

Three points. Er.... That's it. Can't see any point in carping about it at the moment. Ole has given us a shot at top four which was miles away when he took over and I'll settle for the points in every game until the end of the season.

Without Ole, the season would be dead. He'll have a full pre season without International distractions to work on the fitness levels he demands. And hopefully bring in at least some of the players he wants/retaining what he wants and moving on some of the gash.

Have to be patient , however frustrating.

Pogba voted MOTM how did that happen, reckon I did more from my armchair than he did... score two pens, whoop-de-do absolute shite he was again today, one thing no chance of Real or Barca coming in for him, may as well put him on 500k as well, about as impressive as Sanchez

We need players in teh summer that is quite clear, and I do not think we can judge teh team or Ole until he has had a good window, and has options, today we had nothing other than unfit, unexperienced out form players

EDIT: Also, shouldn't the tackle for the second penalty actually have been a red card? Martial was through on goal.

Quite obvious now that Lingard, Martial and Lukaku should not be part of a starting lineup next season. I would keep Lingard but sell Lukaku and Martial to raise cash for rebuild during the summer since Rojo, Mata, Sanchez, Darmian will not generate any cash.

Rice is a good player but McTom has improved a lot recently so I would go for a more attack minded CM since Rice will be quite expensive.

I'll be bothered if that ends up being our long term performance going by how long it's extending because it didn't take us anywhere under the previous 2 managers and the idea of getting Ole was to provide entertaining football as he did in his first few matches, who feel like ages ago now.

It's going to be a very expensive Summer. It certainly needs to be, or next season will be a write off before it has started. Five/six in, five/six out needed.

Right. Rice isn’t coming unless it’s a ridiculous fee,and it depends on him at the end of the day

Shower of shit!

Shows the idle mentality which is now the norm at this club

Phil Jones represents it, Ed Woodward delivers it

I can't wait for the season to end now since it's quite obvious now we've lost all momentum from what we achieved in Paris. Coupled with fatigue and niggling injuries here and there, I don't see how we're going to make up for it until this season ends.

Five - six "in" means 500-600 mil at least, no chance no chance in hell

Did you really buy that hype? That he was appointed to bring back entertaining football? That’s a myth! It was about stability and he’s provided that.

I don’t think any of the back room staff, management are deluded enough to thing this squad is championship material

Keep him for what. His stats for a premier league forward let alone Manutd are abysmal. Rather graduate one of the youngsters and cash in on Lingard.

Matic/Herrera/Pogba at their best in the first games of Ole did the trick I guess...Since that is broken we are seeing dreadful performances, On top of that our front 3 also stopped playing in recent weeks!
