Seemed like a hamstring problem. Ten Hag said it was as a precaution, but cannot guarantee he'll play on Tuesday.

Might be a ploy though.

So close to total disaster against de Graafschap after Luuk de Jong first reminding Ajax that they could still lose the title on the last day, as they did a few years ago against... de Graafschap. :)

Shame de Graafschap couldn't win or draw this one, deserved it.

I liked this photo best from that game:

He seems to be expected to be fit enough to play, but they've not confirmed it as of yet.

106 goals scored so far. Think Ajax can beat the '66-'67 record (122) with four matches to go?

Deserved it is a bit of a stretch. It's a small wonder it wasnt 5-1 at half time.

Though they did need a dive from that cnut Lozano to win it.

Any thoughts to whether the decision to move round 33 to become 34 will make a huge difference mentally to some of these teams?

I’m thinking De Graafschap will probably be demoralised if they feel their season ended a round earlier (might already been sentenced to relegation rounds by then), as pulling a stunt as they did a few years ago to keep Ajax from winning the league is unlikely this season. Sadly wouldn’t be a championship match at home for Ajax.

PSV not facing AZ last round will make it a little less stressful for them to face AZ I’d say, given it’s not the “final chance” to come out on top while playing away. Heracles at home should be a relatively easy match for PSV.

Anything can happen though, one bad game and the league can be over for either team.

Good of there league to move fixtures for Ajax to get more rest between games against Spurs. Hope they get to final, and win it.

There a great advert for proper players, that do not cost kings ransom. Coached great as well. Good luck

Groningen started to time waste like the Great Time Wasting Wizards of the old. I don't like that at all.

EDIT: Hrrmmm, maybe that was an elbow actually. Ajax might get a red here I think. EDIT2: Guess not.

EDIT3: It's getting feisty!

Who's better out of Lozano and Bergwijn?

I believe we'll sign one of them in the summer.
Lozano is the better one but Bergwijn is the more likeable one. Lozano is a despicable little cheating runt and not even that good. Both of them arent United quality.

Dutch refs are as bad as Premier League ones. I have bet on Ajax, but surely Huntelaar fouled the lad there! Or not, even after VAR, goal stands.

Huntelaar gets in. Scores, gets yellow for celebration, 5 minutes pass, gets another yellow for a stupid stupid foul. Cashed out that bet, now I cheer the hosts.

Lucky lucky Ajax. Both Groningen and PSV will be angry at powers that be in that VAR room.
The goal was legit if you ask me. That handball from Tagliafico though... Looked like a pen. Also Huntelaar shouldve been shown straight a red.

There's no foul there, just strong play. Defender needs to be stronger there.

I saw it as a clear foul. Dutch refs agree with you, though, and I've been wrong once or twice in the last 30 years or so.

Disgusting elbow later on indeed.

Keep the pressure, PSV!
I agree some refs will definitely blow for a foul there, which is the reason the defender goes down so easily. I'm not a fan of that defensive sort of diving though, so happy he let's him play on.

He's not really diving there, but they're both fighting for position with their arms wide and the defender lets Huntelaar turn around him. Not a foul for me either

Elbow should have been straight red

Ajax wins the league. I hope we swoop in for their trio of de Ligt, Van De Beek, Ziyech.

Congratulations to the resident Ajax fans. The domestic double and the CL semi's, a dream season if you look at it like that.

Still, missing the CL final in that way..
