Eriksen is brilliant, would be our best midfielder if he signed.
That’ll be RiceI really like Eriksen, one of my favourite players in the prem and he’d be perfect for us but this just isn’t going to happen and every time I say it something inside of me dies....unless it’s that curry I had last night.
Levy will not sell him to us, he wouldn't even sell us Toby who had one year left on his contract and you expect him to sell us eriksen? There was ronaldo modric ramos benzema factor in pulling bale to Madrid. These circumstances are different.
Okay fine, fecking fine, you can have Lukaku if you want him so much, jeez.If you want us to consider selling you one of our best players (and one of the best players in the league) then we will want to get a top talent back.
They didn't have any money for transfers last summer and it was too late in the end, if eriksen goes they can replace him, though what levy have in his mind only he can know. Money talks.Levy will not sell him to us, he wouldn't even sell us Toby who had one year left on his contract and you expect him to sell us eriksen?
Yeah, but you're completely ignoring the fact that Eriksen has 1 year left on his contract. It's take a reasonable offer now, or let him leave on a free. You're not in a position to be bartering for our players. Especially the best ones.If you want us to consider selling you one of our best players (and one of the best players in the league) then we will want to get a top talent back.
Eriksen and Fernandes would instantly lift our quality. Would be dream signings if they happened. If Madrid come calling, then that is where he will end up. Fernandes would be another I would like to see here.
You can have Lukaku if you insist on having one of our players. If you want us to consider selling you one of our best players (and one of the best players in the league) then we will want to get a top talent back.

I quite like LukakuYou can have Lukaku if you insist on having one of our players.
Good then everyone's happyI quite like Lukaku
He's having a bit of an up and down season. Was really good first half but then for a long while dropped off and was invisible, now seems to have picked it up again. When he's 'on form' we're 10 times the team but it's very frustrating sometimes watching him simply fail to have an impact on games, when you consider his exceptional talent.Okay fine, fecking fine, you can have Lukaku if you want him so much, jeez.
Hasn't Eriksen been pretty shit as of late though? I'm a fan of his but recently, whenever I've watched Spuds, he was just crap. Or was I unlucky?
Those aren't the only possible outcomes. But even if they were, it's very likely that (a) what you might consider to be a "reasonable" offer and what Levy might consider it to be are very different; and (b) the only "reasonable" offer that Levy would accept is from outside the Prem.Yeah, but you're completely ignoring the fact that Eriksen has 1 year left on his contract. If Martial did not sign that £200k+ per week extension i could easily see him being offered to Spurs for Eriksen + some cash. Not the worst deal for both parties. Martial would get some much needed hands on coaching from Poch and we would get Eriksen.United have wanted many Spurs players over the years and continue to do so now, but the last one who actually went to United was more than a decade ago. Moreover, things have changed since then: United are no longer the attraction they once were and Spurs no longer the need the money because our income has sky-rocketed.
This should tell any sensible United fan that Eriksen is very unlikely to make a move north and that their club, instead of endlessly looking to poach established stars, should instead focus on trying to find their own Eriksen (at the stage he was when Spurs signed him from Ajax).
Obviously. Those aren't the only possible outcomes. But even if they were, it's very likely that (a) what you might consider to be a "reasonable" offer and what Levy might consider it to be are very different; and (b) the only "reasonable" offer that Levy would accept is from outside the Prem.
I assume you meant Martial + cash for Eriksen, rather than Eriksen + cash for Martial? If Martial did not sign that £200k+ per week extension i could easily see him being offered to Spurs for Eriksen + some cash. As for Eriksen replacement: Odegaard.
Cash + Martial for Eriksen yes. Not that it is going to happen with the wages Martial is on now.I assume you meant Martial + cash for Eriksen, rather than Eriksen + cash for Martial?
But in any case I would think our interest in Martial has waned now that Lucas Moura has established himself at Spurs: Son + Moura provide sufficient pacy, attacking options for us
I'd say interest has wand since Martial snubbed you to stay at United.I assume you meant Martial + cash for Eriksen, rather than Eriksen + cash for Martial?

Without doubt, Spurs will sell him in this window, if he refuses to extend. iirc, This is the same way Eriksen got out of his previous club. If he prefers a domestic club, he will go there. Levy don't have any option in it.You got an old CDM from Chelsea who they were seemingly happy to replace, and with Sanchez they were backed in to a corner with no interest from abroad. Doubt it will be the case with Eriksen.
Levy will only sell domestically in cases where there is no real competition for the signature (Walker), he will always prefer a bid from the continent.
I think Poch could get a real player out of Martial, so him. Nobody else who we could realistically ask for that interests me.
Different times.I doubt it will happen. However, people act like spurs have never dealt with Utd before. We bought Carrick and Berbatov from them so it has happened.
I agree that it's all up to Eriksen, which is why I think it's unlikely that he will end up at United. I personally think he's more likely to sign a new deal around 200k at Spurs than end up at United. He is probably going to Spain if I am to guess.Without doubt, Spurs will sell him in this window, if he refuses to extend. iirc, This is the same way Eriksen got out of his previous club. Its funny that some are discussing that United has to add a player swap.
Don't be silly. If Eriksen wants to leave, Levy the option of telling him he can go abroad, but not go to a Prem club. In that event, Eriksen is hardly going to refuse to go to RM or Barca (or whoever) in favour of giving up a year's worth of greatly improved wages and holding out for United.Without doubt, Spurs will sell him in this window, if he refuses to extend. iirc, This is the same way Eriksen got out of his previous club. The player transfer value has skyrocketed more than their wages. Buying a player is much more expensive than extending bumper contracts. I would assume he would ask more than he is worth to sign as he is having only a year left in a couple of months. Although end of contract season, Fellaini and Herrera took the club for cleaners.I agree that it's all up to Eriksen, which is why I think it's unlikely that he will end up at United. Read my post again. "If he prefers domestic club". It is not Levy's option. It is Eriksens option. Next season, he will not be in Spurs if he is not renewing it.Don't be silly. It doesn't matter if he'd prefer a domestic club - he's not going to prefer it so much that he'd give up the chance of playing for the likes of RM or Barca and immediately boosting his wages by a big amount. Levy won't sell to a Prem rival, regardless of what Eriksen might prefer.Read my post again. "If he prefers domestic club". It is not Levy's option. It is Eriksens option. But what if DADDY WANTS to leave?Don't be silly. If Eriksen wants to leave, Levy the option of telling him he can go abroad, but not go to a Prem club. Mourinho has already left, in case you hadn't noticed. But what if DADDY WANTS to leave?
99.9999% of players are motivated only by money. He's hardly a childhood Spurs fan like, is he ?I think Eriksen would be abit mad to join us in our current state unless ofcourse he's only motivated by money.
Toby wasn't wanted by RM or Barca - big difference. Nor is it just about wages - waiting another year to leave as a free agent would mean he'd be 28 years old heading towards 29. That's a year, when he's entering the later stages of his career, that he could be playing for RM or Barca.Toby says hello.
An almost identical way of thinking you were peddling in here last year.
He'd also get substantially more from Utd as a free agent so that missed wage wouldn't be a problem
