Sick of the crap value for money on Sky, feels like there are fewer watch-worthy games every year. It was decent o the whole when I used to follow Formula 1 and WWE a lot more, but no so my much now.

Treating myself to a new PC this Christmas which'll make it much user friendly to stream good quality stuff and I'll be done with them forever.

I went to IPTV three years ago. No regrets at all !
$150.00 a year and I get all the games & that include Sky, BT, TSN and Sportsnet.
No going back for me.
Indeed. I pay £60 a year and get the same package.

Has anyone signed up to Eleven Sports yet? If so, what's it like?

I already have an Amazon Fire stick with Kodi installed so I can watch many matches online that way, but can someone with IPTV send me a pm on how to get it; or on which is the best/most reliable provider? Cheers.

loads of providers but unless you can find one that streams channels in 50fps there is no point watching it on a TV, still ok for a tablet or laptop mind.

The problem with IPTV is that it could be shut down at any moment. My cousins have it and it is really good.

I cancelled sky as well , I had a price of €62 a month for 12 months and never rang up to cancel and €79 came out of my account the Following month. I canceled straightaway after been offered deal after deal.

2 years on I still haven’t gone back to them I have a now tv box with sports only and when I go to cancel they just give me a discount for next month or sometimes 3 months ( which I take ) I have a dodgy box to watch BT which works perfectly through the sky satellite (€50 every 6 months )

Guys who are the best/reliable IPTV providers as there seems to be loads all with varying reviews? Didn't think of this before but I'd literally sign up tonight and cancel Sky.

Most give 2 day trials for a couple of quid, but if you want to watch it on a big TV prepare to be disappointed

Do sky even show premier League games anymore? Absolute gash.
BT have definitely stolen a march on them this season with a lot more big games (like Chelsea v City today). Before it always seemed to be big team vs midtable / bottom of the table teams on BT, but whatever packages they got in this new TV deal that started this season has given them a much better selection.

Sky's value for money has really plummeted in recent years, yet their prices keep going up

Sky as a company are much easier to deal with than BT who are a feckin nightmare of buckpassing and poor service.

That said, the sports package is increasingly unattractive. Champions league, La Liga, Prem Rugby Union and Australian Cricket gone to be replaced by lots of Golf and now Basketball.

Can't you buy certain channels now? As in just the golf channel by itself? I'd consider that these days if I didn't watch alot of sports, always on in the background instead of normal Tele.

There is no legal embargo today like a Saturday? Why not show all the games, seems crazy.

I agree and think it will just push people more to find ways to watch them that arn't the official Sky / BT broadcasts.

There's three matches on SkyOne today. Wolves v Fulham is on it now while Brighton v Arsenal and Watford v Chelsea is on it later

Does any body know if that's possible. I'd like to get sky sports 4 for golf and maybe PL + CL. But mainly interested in the golf channel.

I pay 2 quid a month to get it on my phone only now. I then mirror the image from my phone to my tv.

I use a IPTV subscription. Every United game including the 3pms. All the movie channels, and cinema released films in HD/4K. All for £10pm or £50 a year. Never had a problem. Not to mention live PPVs etc.

Finally cancelled my sky subscription yeaterday, been on a good deal for 2 years but they've now doubled the price.
Awaiting phone calls with interest but no going back for me, besides as well as being able to stream most games i want to see i recieved a very nice christmas present which makes sky redundant tbh

I've used an IPTV for years now and only pay £50 a year that I can cancel absolutely any time if needed. There is the odd occasion, and I do mean odd occasion that it goes down just as you settle in the watch the match but they have multiple channels from multiple countries showing the games and if all else fails you can find streams on Reddit, probably only happens once or twice a year though.

Not missed a single 15:00 kick off since the Van Gaal days, although there are some I wish I had...

Just to add, I get all the Sky and BT channels including movies and what not, all UK, North American and Middle Eastern channels. If there's sport on TV anywhere in the world, I can watch it, this includes the PPV events.

You'd have to have absolute rocks in your head these days to pay what Sky and the likes want monthly. Yes it could go down at any time but at £50 a year, that would get me a month at Sky so if I get a month out of it the rest of the year is free in my opinion.

do you need a vpn ? if not what box you using?
Not the poster but I use a web subscription and I can log into the platform on my phone, laptop or smart TV and stream from there. I suspect I'm using the same platform the poster above is so feel free to send a PM if you want a link.

A colleague of mine used to work for the Premier league, and he said that SKY wait until towards the end of the season to start selecting the "big" games , as there is always more riding on them.
BT on the otherhand do the opposite. You will find games they will start showing at the back end won't be as good.

Doing just that. They aren’t even trying to hide the fact they want these cnuts winning the league.

It’s basically Liverpool FC TV at this point. Anyone who isn’t a Liverpool supporter has no business subscribing to Sky.

No, not Lisbon..Lisburn!
Unsubscribed from Sky(ce) last week, wasn't helping my footie depression. Will see what alternatives are around in 6 or 7 years when we will be ready to challenge again (hopefully. )

So many of their core pundits are ex Pool players. Redknapp, Carragher, Souness.
At least redknapp can keep his emotions in check, carragher has gone full meltdown since March.

I won't be renewing next season unless changes are made. Carragher is a disgrace when Liverpool are playing.
