Ashley Young (c) is a stain on our football club.

Meh. Its Barcelona. Nothing unexpected.
They outclassed us in our prime with Fergie, not exactly a shock now. We're miles off of them though we have been for most of the past 20 years bar a year here and there.

Obertans #1 fan.
Didn’t have a chance.

They are superior to us, well rested and have better players all over the pitch.

Big summer now. Really looking forward to starting next seasonx

Well that was depressing. Those first few minutes... the falsest of false dawns.

What to say. We have a poor team which has shoot itself in the foot after what we disapeared. Maybe we can change the manager and see if that could work?

I'll get laughed at but if it were not for De Gea's mistake things might have been different

I really don't get the commentators fawning over Barcelona, they really weren't that good

Embarrassing but shouldn’t be surprised, that’s our level and didn’t learn anything we didn’t already know.

If Ole isn’t planning a total rebuild he’s doomed to fail already.

Would happily get shot of most of the attacking players after that. Thought martial, pogba and Lingard we’re pathetic.

Our keeping the ball is Sunday league level.
Especially under pressure.

Young shot us in the foot then DDG shot us in the other foot. Major investment is needed and a clearout too.

Young is still our captain ... that shows how bad we are. There are no leaders in the team {and we are going to sell to Herrera who is the only one who shows some character}. Our defense and attack is incosistent. The game with the feet of DDG is not good. Pogba can be a talented player ... but he is not a natural leader, he gets too involved in some plays and he does not have a strong mentality.

The result was completely predictable.

It’s about so much more than this match. Going out to Barca is no great shame but I’m no more optimistic about the weekend either.

Nothing embarrassing about it. That side should be getting hammered 3-0 off Barca away. Half of them arent good enough to be here. Ferguson is sitting in the box, and he must be thinking "I bought half of this lot, why are they still here?"

Sums up state of our club. 4 of our back 5 were Fergies signings.

3 of them signed new contracts this season.

Football revolution required. We are becoming a laughing stock.

And that's me being kind.

A toxic combination of average players, bad team selections/subs/tactics and years of poor signings and missing out on better players.

Take Messi away and they are average. We are so far off the top teams though.

5 or 6 transfers needed.

Why are we forced to choose a man of the match? Add a button that says "they were all shite"

As for the match, who cares? We're a terrible team and we're going nowhere fast.

Meh. Quarter finals of the CL is a level above where we are anyway. Everton's the big one. Hopefully Sanchez can add something because all our other attackers have decided to turn to shit at the same time.

4 of that back 5 started against Basel in 2011 when we were knocked out in the group stage. 8 seasons ago. Eight.

This Manchester United team is utter dross and have put in yet another humiliating performance. The players deserved to be booed for performing like shit while being paid insane wages. They are not even worth half what they earn today.

Even after young fecked up, we were still in it, as bad as young was. De Geas error was criminal.

Only one that looked decent was Fred IMO.

A couple of them had mares, pogba especially.

Same performance we've been seeing from most of these players for months and years now.

And we'll very likely see it again many times next year.

Just have to hope in the summer there'll be enough sold.
