Fair enough and yes there's contradictions in there for sure. To be clear I do have moral issues with ADUG, but I can hold my nose on that to an extent because ultimately I was a City fan before ADUG and I'll be a City fan after ADUG. I can't choose not to be a City fan. I can choose not to be a big fan of a particular competition.
Phew.

Spurs are on their way to Madrid!! Tottenham's gonna do em again,
They cant stop them the boys from Tottenham, the boys from white heart lane!

Spurs were my second favourite club when I was little, always had a soft spot for them for beating city in the 81 cup final, that game has brought it all back to me , spurs wreck city's dreams again!! Yipppeeehhh ha ha

Genius move from Pep to start KDB against Brighton in the FA Cup and then leave him out of the first leg against Spurs

That is a bit of a shocker really from City to lose that tie. Spurs in poor form, struggling with injury issues, Wanyama an utter liability in their midfield, miles off what he was, then lose Sissoka which only allowed Ali to show how poor a midfielder he really is. City were great to watch in the way they played, the zip and speed of their play but Pep makes no allowances for the threat of the opponent. That arrogance killed them tonight.

Tonight is on Pep and Laporte, Ederson. The two players were awful Ederson for the first goal was poor and should have come for that ball, probably would have if he hadn't spilled on just before. Laporte openly at fault for the first two goals with shocking first touches.

Pep switching Fernandinho for Silva when 4-2 up and dominating was mental. He gave all the momentum back to Spurs when it was inevitable we were pressing for a fifth. Completely threw the team out of shape. Another day without the silly individual mistakes we're winning that comfortably but we tend to always find a way to City things up.

On the plus side we have the same amount of games as Liverpool left this season now possibly less if they make the final.

It was the opposite, taking his foot off their neck when we were ahead and letting them have the ball control the game is why we are out.

And there it costs him once more
Don’t think Fernandinho was fully fit. If he was I’ve no doubt he’d have started.

Let’s be honest, Laporte’s horrific first 10 minutes is what cost them.

I've never felt so confident City would score in overtime. Disregarding VAR, it speaks volumes of how good they are.

Looked as if they could create chances at will, the amount of times Bernardo Silva and Walker carved up the Spurs left side defense was staggering.

It was a tougher task than it needed to be because of how difficult Guardiola made it after the way he set up for the first leg. It's been his story for the 6 years now in the CL

Give it a few years and I wouldn't be surprised if he's held in higher regard than David Silva. He's an absolute machine and would be in any starting XI in world football for my money.

Llorente was also his man for Spurs' third.

Glad they're out but hope they beat Spurs on Saturday. If they dont league may already be decided.

Saying that they're so ahead of us right now..

Nothing quite makes me as happy as City being dumped out of the CL, ditto with PSG. Seems to be the only competition where history and class seem to matter and oil money has yet to be able to buy.

Spurs bottled their way through the whole game, even when Son put them so far ahead. You lost to Spurs tonight but they weren't the ones that beat you.
Spurs I thought defended brilliantly though rode their luck at times. They were clinical with every chance they made. If anything I would say Spurs showed a metal in front of goal tonight that I didn't think they had about them if I'm honest.

We too were magnificent except 3 minutes of stupidity from Laporte, which was more down to over confidence and thinking he's a CB version of Pirlo than a lack of bottle. The opposite of no bottle.

Losing bottle is losing your nerve, which neither team tonight can be accused of.

Aguero is such a bum. On the biggest stage he is so shite. No wonder he is benched by Higuain. Cost them the tie. When he's not scoring tap ins he does feck all. Ball loss merchant. Dribbling into crowded areas all the time and losing the ball with almost every single action he takes. Missing easy passes, missed a pen that pretty much cost city the tie. Laughing at anyone comparing this clown to Henry.

Calling Aguero a clown is a bit stupid, don't you think? I wish we had a "clown" like him.

Was his goal today a tap in?
