He deserves new thread. The rebuild post-Jose is ahead and he only needed two months to make decision, a big one.
The man is a real visionist, United is blessed with him in charge. I'm so excited for the next noodle sponsor.

He needs to step down. That's the only sensible thing he can do.

Stroke of genius hiring OGS before the end of the season. Pretty sure every other major clubs CEO would agree with the decision.

We've gone to shit under his leadership. Overpaying players, not hiring the right managers, not getting the managers the player they want and overpaying shit players while they continue to underperform.

For me Woodward and the Glazers are the biggest problem at the club, we won't win the league under them, no chance. They're all clueless.

Football is just a side show, think long term. The sponsors , advertisers, owners are happy with whatever players do on the field as long as they bring money.
Our average position post Fergie is 5 yet money still flowing in. Can't think of anyone who does it better than Woodward.

The worst ever CEO for the club.

This fecker is lucky having SAF in his early years to build the club and helped Glazer to pay his debts after take over with minimal investment on players.

If SAF had retired earlier, this fecker could have run the club into financial crisis.

He has guided us to mediocrity, unfortunately the owners love him so he's going nowhere.

Nah, he can stay at the club making deals with companies and earning it money but he should stay away from football decisions.

More noise should be made about his involvement in footballing decisions.

Feck up the season with Herrera and de gea contract situation while hand jones and smalling new deals.

Appoint ole on beating few teams poor teams in the middle of interim period calling it a thorough process.

He is the biggest clown I have seen managing such a top organisation and nosediving it into the ground.

Nonchalantly scoring the winner...
People will laugh but I would prefer having Levy here.
How would anyone laugh at that...?

Woodward is an insanely bad CEO.

If it emerged that he was a secret Liverpool fan trying to sabotage United it would actually explain his tenure here better than the notion that he's trying to do well but failing...

Levy vs Woodward is like Kane vs Rashford, or Mane vs Lingard.

Honestly? I truly truly believe the club is finished as long as we got Ed at the helm. Maybe even as long as the Glazers are in charge.

I really don't see why things would change?

People always make jokes about him tbh
Our supporters mock Pep. Our supporters mock Klopp. This is what supporters do. Realistically, if offered the opportunity, I'm pretty sure most of our supporters would pull an Andy King from Fyre Festival to get any of those people here at our club.

Ed wont go, the Glazers love him. He also cant let go of football decisions, no matter who we hire and appoint for whatever role, Ed will still like to be the boss. He is completely out of his depth on the football side of things and in appointing and dealing with managers. Messed up with every manager and Ole so far. To appoint him mid season was brainless. Now a DoF appointment will be either pointless or shit, because we all know he will still call the football and transfer decisions as he pleases.

Woodward isn’t a bad ceo at all. His primary responsibility is to drive the commercial success of the business, and generate increased returns for the shareholders, which he has done extremely well.

He’s appointed managers who should have delivered more, and has backed them in the transfer market too.

The majority of fans thought the managerial appointments were the right ones, but inevitably we need someone to blame and for the time being it’s Ed.

The thing is, even if this is little to do with Woodward, the target is turning now to either him or the players. And we’ve changed the players a bit.

Eventually, you change the higher up structure (well in any sensible scenario).

Never looked at it that way before, you are right. The club make so much money they can get away time and time again with blundering incompetence, wheras any other business would collapse

A football club's goal is to delivery trophies not to make the shareholders rich.

He was lucky having SAF in charge when the Glazer took over. Their financing and levarage are risky and it wouldn't work without SAF spending minimal and working his miracles by winning titles after titles.

The club could have struggle to pay Glazers debts if SAF retired earlier. Both financial and football side could have been disaster. Ed was one lucky bastard.

Lots of “if’s” and hypothetical’s in that statement!

The truth is we all collectively as a fan base need to ask for Ed to leave. Now on the non football side of the club, he does his job but we need to force him into making a change.

He is absolutely clueless and is killing this club as his decision making is nigh on negligent at the moment. The structure of the football club is horrid and the people in these positions are just as bad. The club down the road literally do it the right way, this fecktard doesn't have to go far to see a working model with Soriano and Begiristain. His negotiation of contracts alone are a reason for him to be sacked, he's somehow managed to make this terrible set of players the 2nd most paid squad in world football.

We need to boo him and games and really make it clear that drastic changes are needed at the club. Moyes, LVG and Mourinho have all said our structure is poor for a club of our standing.
