We should fulfill his dream.
He could be a good player but not good enough for what we aspire to (cringe thinking of Moyes).

I'd swap him for Icardi. We won't get any tidy fee for him and we get in a striker to replace him.

Player swaps rarely happen though.

I actually think he's almost certain to go.

Ole clearly doesn't fancy him, and he has no fight in him to be the main striker.

Hopefully we can get some decent money for him.

What a shit signing he's been. A total loser.

Not only has he reassured many of our suspicions, but also that piece by Di Marzio in regard to a Icardi-Lukaku swap is looking more promising now.

I loved his character, passion and commitment last season even while skills-wise he seemed a bit out of his depth. He also banged the goals in and was a predator around the box. This year his confidence is shot and he is a shadow of the player we signed. Ole clearly doesn't fancy him either, for his lack of mobility and control.

I reckon he would jump at the chance to leave in the summer and maybe we can recoup 40-50m to spend on the team. Someone will take a punt on a player who at 25 is an EPL top 20 all time goal scorer.

I wouldn't touch Icardi with a barge pole. Very talented forward but he brings too much drama even for the Italian football, never mind the EPL. No one is gonna put up with his shit here.

World class at pointing to patches of grass and other leagues he's dreaming of playing in, but a bit shit at the whole football thing.

What he is really saying is, "Playing in a league where I don't have to run and my first touch doesn't matter is my dream"

If there is a chance to sell him we should take it whether we have a replacement lined up or not.

We can’t be afraid to let this type of player go and one of few players we can get some decent money for. It’s a joke he is talking up a move at this time.

I would have done a better job..
As would anyone who has played a reasonable level of football but hang on, isn't he meant to be a pro?? He's so out of his depth at this level it truly is laughable. I don't care about the stats, that's history, his time here is an unmitigated disaster both financially and footbally

We should look to sell him. It has become pretty clear that he is not consistently good enough to be a starter, and his impact from the bench tends to be very limited. Basically he is close to being worthless when he isn't scoring goals, and he has proven to be very streaky in that regard. He comes nowhere near Aguero or Kane, which is the level we should be aiming for.

If we sell now, we should be able to get most of the investment back.

Instead, at United, he is standing, and clearly instructed to stand, further up the pitch, in a central position, with a centre half already on him. Pogba is the only player in the midfield capable of playing those through passes, none other. Against Everton his supply line was Rashford and Martial from out wide, neither of whom can cross. For Belgium, and indeed United, he will continue to score the kinds of goals he's always scored - as a striker being freed into a pocket of space by another player's pass.

When that supply line is Pogba, currently 20 yards back in midfield again, for whatever reason, a series of players who have no pedigree in their passing whatever - Martial, Rashford, Lingard, Matic, McTominay, Fred - and full-backs who are raw and currently unable to get forward due to the lack of midfield control, you end up with one very unhappy centre forward..
This was my despair with the Everton line up: right-footed Dalot and Martial on the left, Lindelof and Rashford on the right, Pogba really advanced up with Lukaku. Where was the service to come from?

He has some nerve. Flirting with other clubs while putting in performances like this. He should be thanking his lucky stars Manchester United are even tolerating him.

Let him move to Italy. Hell, I’ll drive him there myself. That’ll be one less mercenary who isn’t fully committed to the club off our books.

Watching this guy give a needless thumbs up to an overhit long ball is going to be my abiding memory of the Woodwardian Era.

Christ! I hope this all comes to an end soon.

Are we really that lucky that Inter will take both Lukaku and Sanchez off us? Do dreams really come true?

Under a tree.
Very good news hes come and said he would like to play in Italy, at least theres something behind it. With 3 years left on his contract and massive wages hes one of the players ive feared we are going to be stuck with, hopefully something materialises in the summer. But even with the links i still struggle to see us getting back 75m though..

Imagine talking about moving club the day after a derby defeat and a blow to your top 4 ambitions. Idiot.

This guy can’t control a football and is talking like some in demand striker.

He'd probbably boss it in Italy to be fair. Try to include Darmian to sweeten the deal..

It's just astounding to me that he looks nothing like a footballer. His running style is weird and his body shape when going to strike the ball is just clumsy and terrible. I don't remember him always being this way?

Let's hope we're lucky enough for his dream to come true this summer, and that we don't have to take too much of a hit on the fee.

See ya big man. I defended him to the hilt when we signed him and genuinely believed Mourinho would mould him into a top quality CF (shudder). He emphatically let me down.

What a terrible quotes. Every player in the club thinks it's fine to flirt with other clubs. Pogba with Madrid and now this guy with Italy. I'm not going to lose sleep over anyone leaving of these mercenaries.

My wish is that as soon as the final whistle has blown for this season Ole pulls some of these f****** mercenaries in and tells them to politely do one. I get it that he still needs their “input” for the remaining three games but after that it really is time for some seriously straight talking.

I’m no fan of Keane the man but it’s instances like this when I wish he was the manager.

Are those that saying "it's his agent talk, not him" will admit it that they're wrong?

Quicker he is out the better !!
If a current player has dreams of moving to another club then, he has already lost the desire to play for us , he has already lost the right to play for us.
He should be binned of for the rest of the season and shipped ouy at the earliest opportunity.
That goes for any player !

Getting rid of him would be as good as a new signing.

Not the only player you could say that about of course, Sanchez Young and Matic say hello.
