Irrespective of the 10 men situation, Pepe padding his numbers against farmers league fodder again :keano:

30 goals and assists isn't bad in any top flight league.

We have a vacancy, and he has to be worth a punt now.

Back in the pre-Qatar Saint Germain days, Lille would have won this Ligue. Glorious 5-1 and totally deserved 2nd place.

The squad is gonna get dismantled this summer though. Man Utd should take notice.

Monaco have regressed again in last few weeks. 1-0 down to PSG, Mbappe inevitably.

Still only 4 points off relegation play off and got to play Nice, Rennes and St Etienne in last 5 games.

That was a proper PSG 5 a side team they named on the bench, Buffon, ADM, Draxler, Cavani and Neymar.

Damn, everything has to be so unceremonious or anticlimatic around QPSG, ( I mean winning the Ligue title without playing their ligue match, after two consecutive hideous defeats).

Nkunku skies, Rennes win the coupe.

The 11 penalties before were all fantastic. High quality shootout.

South American players are easily the best at high pressure penalties, ice cool the way Dani Alves and Neymar took theirs at key moments.

Good for the game anyway that a team other than PSG wins a major trophy in France anyway.

They won only the league this season.

Tuchel is a terribly overrated manager.

His ratio is not that great, but would have preferred him over Nkunku. Horrible challenge from him, but I really don't think it was intentional, just clumsy and dangerous.

Congrats to Rennes, they played a great game and all the penalties were pure class.

Tuchel is a terribly overrated manager.
He's really not. Any other manager would be fired at the end of this season, he's staying on because he's a brilliant mind. None of PSG's failures can be attributed to his tactics and the way he has developed and integrated youth players has been great to see. I'm not holding him responsible for this season one bit and I'm excited to see what he does.

Spending too much time with a piece of shit like Neymar or Alves. He's become a serial diver and a cnut recently, from one of my favourite players, a massive shame.
He's not becoming anything, he was always a diver and easy to trigger for his opponents

The schadenfreude is real. I want to see the face of that arrogant twat that is their president. Serves him right. All that money and they cannot beat modest Rennes.

he was nowhere close at monaco to this Mbappe at PSG now.

His behaviour is a disgrace at the moment. He is still young, but it has to improve massively.

He is the only player I know of who got himself kicked out by both his U17 club manager and U17 national team manager for behaviour issues.
He was never the well-mannered,polite kid that his PR team sold to the world.

He's terribly overrated and people think anyone who tells his teams to pass forward is genius and good enough manager.

Oh, okay haven't known this.
Thought his behaviour at Monaco was completely okay at Monaco and with all the hype it changed in a bad way..

Sorry to say but if the only good managers are the ones who win I guess in a league of 20 only 1 is good or 19 are overrated. Or I would think Solskjaer is better because they scored a penalty on the last minute.

Where I agree with you is that there is a annoying trend of social media hypsters who always excuse the Guardiolas, Sarris or Tuchels of this life but are always ready to bash the defeats of the Mourinhos, Allegris or Contes of this life. And the media does that too, same with the Messi vs Ronaldo.

The purists vs the evil ones.

I have maintained this opinion on him ever since the thread linking him to Bayern was made in this forum. Never thought of him as good as people think he's. People talk about Tuchel as if he's a philosophical genius with an unprecedented philosophy coming to apply it on football or something. Yeah I'm not kidding. That's what was people trying to say about him when he was linked to Bayern.

The truth is always in the middle. I struggle a bit to take harsh conclusions on PSG managers because they have a huge financial advantage over the rest of the league but they struggle to impose themselves on the knockout stages of the Champions League. The mentality there doesn’t seem the best. It’s more than Tuchel, Emery or Blanc.
