The last goal was pure luck. City VAR in the last minute.
Ah I see, they’re lucky that VAR correctly ruled a goal out, or that they scored at the end rather than a few minutes before the end?

Goals at the end of games are not luck ffs. They created their own destiny tonight by putting pressure on Ajax the whole second half. So easy to just label it lucky while it isn’t.

Well, the positive is that if there's one team out there that can match Liverpool in physicality, pressing and work rate, it's Tottenham. They were unfortunate against Liverpool the last time they played them, and hopefully Kane will be back for it.

The negative is that it's Tottenham. Can they really be trusted?

Can you trust Klopp in cup finals?

I think Tottenham have a shot. Hopefully Kane is fit by then.

The Lucas shot was a mix of his and De Ligts foot in the 5th minutes of extra time. Could have gone anywhere. Of course you make your own luck, but if you dont want to call it lucky, thats your thing. But for me they obviously had some massive fortune

If Spurs are full strength I give them about a 40% chance of winning, which isn't bad odds.

Son - Kane - Moura is an attack that could cause liverpool a lot of problems. Only issues for Spurs imo are Trippier being absolutely gash and Wanyama playing like he's 50.

Look at the corpses behind you. PSG, Bayern, Madrid, Juve, City, Barça.

Easy for Liverpool now? Surely, but, oddly enough, if one team can go crazy and beat the dippers at their own (Klopp) game, that's SPURS 2019. Even 2-0 at the beginning of the second half, they could make it.

Good lord Spurs haven't made it easy for themselves in the knockout stages. Here's hoping that they can do over the scouse.

I hope after those two outstanding semi finals that the final doesn't end up 0-0. Spurs have a better chance of beating Liverpool especially if Kane is back than Ajax ever did but i'd still only give them a slim chance TBH.

Either Spurs or Liverpool are finally going to win a trophy.

Let's pray to the gods of football that it's Spurs.

Poch has last 4 games v Klopp
Won 4-1. (Wembley)
Drew 2-2 (Anfield)
Lost 1-2. Son blatant pen last min denied. (wembley)
Lost 1-2. (Anfield). Last min own goal. Spurs deserved to win.

Basically Poch knows how to play Klopps system. He has 3 weeks to get his tactics spot on for the final. . This won't be a walk over for Scousers as they think.

Knowing the competence of our board Ed Woodward will probably announce our intention to bid £500m for three Spurs players tomorrow, thus unsettling them before the final.

Think it's Liverpool's year. Though destiny I'd with Spurs, VAR decision and injury time winner to turn it around in the second legs.

It's 50/50.

Spurs are probably the closest team in terms of style to Liverpool, and the closest to beating us at Anfield.

Both teams will feel their name is on the trophy after the last few days. How can two teams both come back from being 3-0 down in the tie?

You'd think that this wouldn't have to be pointed out at a Manchester United forum of all places.

If Liverpool win it we won't hear the end of it, their fans are just insufferable. If Spurs win it, Liverpool will go full meltdown mode and Tottenham fans will have the ultimate cheeky banter card against Arsenal supporters, no idea how a United fan would want Liverpool to win even if they deserve it. Sportsmanship and paying respect where it's due is good but the thought of Pool winning makes me nauseous.

I'm happy Spurs won as I feel they have a better chance to beat Liverpool than Ajax. Liverpool would have just bombarded Ajax with long balls and physically dominated them.

I really hope Poch wins it and saves us all. We need Harry Kane to get back as well. I think he will make it just in time.

Liverpool/Arsenal/West Ham v Spurs/United/City/Everton.

I wonder who Chelsea fans will support...

I hope the Spurs fans are aware that they will have to avoid fountains and restaurants in Madrid.
Do the citizens of Madrid know the level of shite that is going to take over their city in the lead up to the final and that they will be driven out of their minds by an unending stream of YAWN.
My advice would be for a mass exodus of the city. Leave them to it and hope that they leave the place somewhat inhabitable when they finally feck off with their tails between their legs.
