Does europa go down to 6th or 7th in La Liga. Great season for Bilbao if they end up in europe. La Real roused themselves and still lurking of course....
Barcelona-Valencia in the cup final, so 7th

Coutinho getting booed every time he is on the ball at the Camp Nou game against Getafe. His days are numbered!

Still the game next week, so Sociedad and Espanyol are still in it at the moment, although do they play each other next week?
Very exciting final day. Bilbao got tough away to Sevilla so could lose that although I don't know if Sevilla could get top 4 as they are three off Valencia and Getafe so it goes to complicated three way head to head.

If Bilbao lose then La Real would get in with win at Espanyol. Can't remember how Espanyol did in their two games with Bilbao.

Mikel Oyarzabal is a cracking player.

Only just turned 22 but been playing regularly since 2015. A few CL teams could do worse than look at him this summer.

Bilbao went after him, but he wanted to stay where he was. As you say if one of the really big team came in it might be a different matter. He is under contract under 2024.

Sad to see Girona going down, enjoyed watching them since their promotion. Pretty much example of mid table team really falling in after January, very nearly happened to Brighton.

Interested where Stuani goes, 40 goals in 60 games for them since joining from Boro.

What Bilbao snapped their fingers and a Basque didn't come running? ;)

La Real got lots of really exciting players who've come through their cantera, 17 year old Barrenetxea scored his first goal today and really like Zubeldia in midfield aswell.

Just need another decent striker and a bit more experience in other areas of the team and they'll be exciting to watch next year.

What about Real Madrid? I know they went down to ten men, but were they that bad?

My attitude is yes I want Athletic Club in EL, but if it doesn't happen, they have still done well. I was seriously worried they would get relegated at one point.

After the red Madrid just continue attacking so La Real were kiling them on the counter attack. It was actually more of a premier league than La Liga match with how it was played.

Ultimately if Real Madrid could've just cancelled their last 10 la Liga games after Ajax they would've, just couldn't care less about them and Zidane's been using them as trial run outs.

As much as I give Ramos stick they really missed that experience figure at the back, Nacho is just a mid table CB. Carvahal was trying to get sent off all game (what happened to Ordiozola?).

Garitano has done an amazing job, mad to think Bilbao had only won 1-2 games up to January. Even top half was a good 10 points away at that point.

Girona virtually relegated(they'd need a miracle to stay up. Win their game and Celta lose theirs and make up a 7 goal difference)

CL: Valencia are in so long as they win, or draw and getafe draw or lose
Getafe are in with a better result than Valencia
Sevilla are in if they win and both Valencia and Getafe lose

EL: Athletic are 6th if they win, with Sevilla 7th. They are in no matter their result if Real-Espanyol ends in a draw. They are in if they draw. Real-Espanyol, either team wins and Athletic lose and they're in

Broken collarbone. Out for the season. That is another big rebuild on the way. United better stay clear of Bale. I like Ramos.

He has done well. The players have all come out and said they really like Berizzo but his methods were just not working, it was not anything personal. Such a shame Susaeta is going. It will seem strange him not being there. Leeds might take a look at him if Bielsa is still there.

Can't say I am surprised. The board is bad and the coach a joke. I doubt I will see Girona in primera in a veeeery long time.

it was a bit tragic hearing all the booing at Coutinho. he was targeted when he got the ball and even before the game when they announced his name twice. it was almost like he was playing world cup final in Buenos Aires, not a meaningless home game for his own club. couldn't play CL in his first season and then when you thought he will be major boost for Barca in his second season, he became one of the most hated players to see in their starting 11. also managed to injure himself in the end so he'll be out for the next 2 weeks, not that there's much to play for. he simply has to be the worst transfer in the history of football, certainly in the history of Barcelona.

Eusebio was doing alright with La Real about 18 months ago but hit a bad run and was sacked. Girona just struggled when Stuani was out, Doumbia way past it and Pat Roberts barely played second half of the season. I thought this Portu guy was supposed to be amazing aswell, 8 goals all season, hmmm.

Girona had some really good results first half of the season, 2-2 at Barca, 0-1 at Valencia, 1-1 at home to Atletico Madrid. They had 21 points after just 14 games. Very much second half of the season slump (still managed to win at Real Madrid though.)

Eusebio was wasting reals team. They were much better than that.

And punctual results don't change the fact the he has managed terribly the squad. He just rode the succes of the last season, and when the automatisms of the team were forgotten, nothing was brought in exchange.

Fair play to Espanyol, up and down season like so many but they will play europa.

Very impressed by Hermoso today, can see why Spain call him up. Excellent reading of the game.

Probably last minutes of Bale and Keylor at Bernabéu.
Hopefully Bale will get a good ovation.

Vinicius is so exciting to watch when he starts a run, just needs more composure when he gets in the box. I do think it's similar to Ronaldo in his early years at Man. United. Surprised Brazil didn't called him up for Copa.

Total mug like Jese gets standing ovation from home fans.

Something badly wrong if Bale gets mass whistles coming on.
