I remember agreeing with @Vato once that 11x Sergio Ramos would be glorious.

11x Jan Koller.

Big guy with a reasonably decent technique. Could be a fun match.

Imagine standing at the kick off spot and facing 11 Jaap Stams ready to go.

No one mentioned 11 Kantes yet?

Don't care how good you are, 11 Kantes = 22 players in practicality.

I think ball-playing centre backs would have the best chance. Strong, organised and able to bully their way to some goals on the attack, while having enough technical clout to get by. 11 Lucio's.

Seriously?

You guys forgotten the god of versatility, JOHN FECKING OSHEA.

John O'shea on the front will beat defenders with nutmegs.
John O'Shea at the goal will save with wonder.
John O'Shea at midfield will neutralize any threat in world football.

/Thread.

From United Keane and Rooney are the obvuius choices. Brilliant talents, die on the pitch attitude. Credit to how good peak Rooney was to include him.

Bryan Robson anyone?

Away from united- gullit was a good shout by the op. Though defensively woeful a front 6 of 11 Ronaldos (Brazil) would be close to unstoppable. 11 Zidanes too.

I'd give you another one,

11 Neymars, the sport will be renamed to Grass Diving in record time. Perhaps it should be named "Grass Opera".

11 Ronaldo vs 11 Messi

Wouldnt this settle the debate once and for all?

11 Matthaus. I would also say Beckenbaur or Sammer but Lothar had goalscoring ability that neither of the other two had, plus he was still very good defensively.

I was just thinking about this myself and I'd probably go with Cristiano Ronaldo actually. Especially if you can say, have weedy, pacey, more skilful Ronaldo on the wings and big bully Ronaldo up front and at CB etc.
