I was reading something somewhere that say's exactly this.
It mentioned re-writing the record books!
Thing is, this would mean we gain 2 extra leagues and Liverpool gain 2.
Hope they get away with it!
Nah I’d happily see them banned, they’re not a real football club anymore. Won’t happen though.

They should be forced to shrink their pitch, shorten their corner flags and dye their grass a lighter shade of green.

So when will this decision be made?

Is there any realtistic prospect of this actually happening?

The fact that City seems so pissed off about it is clear indication that it'll happen. City will appeal the decision in CAS so after that it's 50/50.

I think another thing to consider is that it most probably won't be applicable to 19/20 but 20/21 due to time constraints(if it goes through).

If somebody is clever enough to hack emails, they are also clever enough to doctor them. That alone is reason enough that City will take this as far as they possibly need to to avoid any punishment. I'm not saying that the emails don't have substance because it's fairly obvious that they do, but it will be incredibly difficult for UEFA to prove this as City will be able to show them different versions of the emails that have been hacked as they will have people clever enough to change them too.

It's going to be fun and games to watch because it is going to roll on and on and on for years.

This was literally a leaked email from one of their executives to another.
Wow, I knew the leaked emails showed possible false sponsors to the tune of millions, didn't realise they effectively contained a death threat as well

Might not be the smartest move questioning the integrity of the former PM of Belgium. Seems a hot headed response.

This wasn't a death threat or anything IIRC. One of the investigators died due to other causes and the City executives were celebrating his death.

i sincerely doubt that man city will get banned, because they have all this money and power and they'll utilise that however they can to get what they want. But i am all for this to happen.

Which official sent it?
According to the leaks, City's club lawyer Simon Cliff.

A further email, written by Cliff, was also obtained. A day before the agreement was reached, Jean-Luc Dehaene, who led a team of around seven UEFA investigators until falling ill in early in 2014, had passed away. 'One down, six to go,' Cliff allegedly wrote to a City employee who had informed him of Dehaene's death.

Their owners don't give a shit about human rights and now they're going to be banned for braking some ethicaly minor things... No way. They can buy anything, anyway. Qatar as WC is the best proof. Also PSG do as they please every year.

Why only banned from the UCL? Why would the FA/Premier League sit back and allow them to go unpunished for robbing Liverpool of their dreams (tehehe)?

Hacking an E-mail as a general rule is about as difficult as putting on a hat.

I feel like you may not know too much about technology and are saying this without any real knowledge.

Uefa would earn a lot of kudos from the footballing world if they banned and upheld a ban.

City are worried, that much is obvious.

I actually think something could happen - because this time there is proof, and there are so many pissed Clubs involved. If they let City off the hook - they are basically saying its ok to cheat.

Hell if I was a City-fan I would be REALLY worried

But realistically - a ban will probably start from 20/21

I fear they will pay themselves out of it.

Is it possible that the English game is going to get its comeuppance for having all 4 finalists in EUFA competition?

In what way does this punish any other PL club?

It will be welcomed by all 91 other clubs.

I wasn't referring to all clubs. I was alluding to the point that EUFA may be more inclined to punish City because of the dominance of English clubs over their darling Spanish duo this year.

How do we gain titles in the past? Do they just remove them for many years back? It just doesn't make much sense to change the past in that way.

The City owners would certainly not be against murdering people at times given how they treat people in the arab emirates. Although I do not think they are doing it for investigating these rules. They will pay the right people to get out from this I think in the end.
