He wants another starter who can actually displace Marcelo if he doesn't improve. Reguilon is not that
There were rumours on Firpo a couple of months ago (don't know if there still are). Does he have the potential in your eyes?

From what i've seen, yeah. Potential. Not there yet though. Needs to get better on the ball

Valencia needs to win la Copa. Fingers crossed. Barça has won this Liga on autopilot with boring football thanks to Messi, an unreliable Atlético and a total meltdown by post-CR Madrid. Valverde has to be sacked.

Unreliable Atletico = they also had a meltdown since Griezman renewed his contract earning much more than some of his team mates together and not justifying it.

Marcelino is a very good coach, but he's not a miracle maker.

I guess it's better not to fill the twitter thread with news of less interest, so I share here.
"Barcelona is talking with Filipe Luis to arrive for free"

Fair play. To be honest I have never heard of a single player in the tweets you post

 come on, it´s not so bad, sometimes I tweet about popular players.
Sometimes I do not have a clue either, but there is always a crack that knows everything about the player.

The editorial line of AS is going to change a lot when Relaño leaves, although the chosen photo for the cover could not be better

Bale: "We are robots, they tell us where to be, when, at what time we have to eat, at what time to go to the bus, it is as if you lost your life"

Anyone watching the cup final?

I feel like Rodrigo should have taken the shot beforehand instead of trying to get past the GK.

Valencia got the players to kill Barca on the break, going to be a great final now.

plenty of pace in that Valencia side, but they seem to make wrong decisions in most of their attacks. it could have been more than 1-0 by now. Barca on the other side is completely devoid of any pace or end product. it will be tough to win in that state.

Brilliant second goal by Valencia!

Barca shape is all wrong, Alba got badly exposed there.

Where are all their forwards? And yet people don't think signing Greizmann makes sense...

Barcelona look awful.

I'll be shocked if they even score 1 in this game. Valencia might get a few more.

Messi has papered over so many of their cracks.

Suarez injured, Dembele injured, they don't have any backup.
Dembele is a winger, I'm talking about guys who can play as central player in their 4-3-3. Obviously Messi playing that role tonight but it's not 2009 anymore and he couldn't do that 30 times next season.

Also just saw Kevin Prince Boateng in the stands, what a bizarre mid season signing that was.

Also, Parejo is way too good to have spent his whole career at Valencia in this particular era

Think they'd have been exposed in CL final if they'd made it. As we see every year in CL away from Camp Nou they're not that great.

get Coutinho to shoot from the left and try to win as many free kicks for Messi as they can. can't see them scoring otherwise as even their corners are short.

A lot of their players came out being supportive of Valverde lately.

I doubt it's his end. If he didn't get sacked after the Liverpool implosion, I doubt he gets sacked now.

This is a better bargaining chip for Raiola than United could ever be. Jesse Lingard would bag himself 2 or 3 half chances against this clown show of a defense.

Deserved for Valencia? I didn't think they were anything special from the two legs against us in the Europa.

Hope Flo and Zidane are paying attention. Barca are the best technical side in the world, and they have no answer to sheer pace

They've tended to be a bit of a bogey team for Barca in last few years, plenty of draws v them at Mestella and also at Camp Nou.

Think they've played tonight brilliantly, middle trio of Coq, Soler and Parejo sitting in and Guedes and Rodrigo have been brilliantly at breaking quickly down the flanks.

Their board seems absolutely hellbent on keeping him for the next season, I don't think even this would be enough.

European games are a different sport. But no, they're not particularly good. Barcelona are just short-handed up top and without Ter Stegen(who likely saves both of Valencia's goals), and Parejo & co are doing a good job of neutralizing Messi. Barcelona are Messi+10
