Celtic winning the treble treble is seen as a huge thing, when in fact it's just them achieving their bare minimum requirements for the season three times in a row

Javi Gracia was called Javi Garcia his entire career up to the point he joined Watford.

League Cup finals always seem to have way more of a “big game atmosphere” than FA Cup finals.

It must be a totally weird enough feeling being a Celtic fan as it is, especially when your only rival has been in the doldrums for so long.

If United sign De Ligt, they can thank Liverpool for taking Barca to the cleaners for Shootinho.
Not when they've bought Dembelend (still gutted he didn't put that sitter away at 3-0 in the first leg late on doh!), for 96m in between.

Our Treble 20 years ago is still more relevant than Citys PoundWorld treble in 2019.

How is this a weird feeling? No one would ever say a league cup is even close to a European Cup to complete a treble. A double is more impressive than a domestic trophy if it involves Europe and the League winners.

I know that we won't get De Ligt.

I genuinely don't buy into Raiola's BS and know that he is just trying to squeeze cash out of Barca.

I also keep reopening the De Ligt thread....go figure

United have more pre-free kick conferences than any other team (admittedly this seems to have decreased a bit since Rooney left.) Also, we are the only team that does that moronic thing where our corner-kick taker (inevitably Ashley Young) raises both arms prior to sending a useless kick straight into the first defender.

Ashley Young's high-pitched screams are more audible than any other player's.

Maybe I'm in the minority but Mohammed Salah is the worst World Class footballer out there.

Doesn't look, run or kick a ball like one
I have this feeling too. Whenever I see him dribble or run he looks weak and awkward and every time he strikes the ball with power it looks all wrong like his ankles can't handle it.

He will then push over some big 6"5 defender, nutmeg another and smash one into the top corner. Every time he scores It looks like a lucky fluke of a goal. He's basically Fabio Borini but gets lucky 35 times a season instead of 3 times like Borini does.

I was referring to the actual event, not just the achievement.

Someone has said it earlier in this thread that he's not world class, he's just in an extended purple patch and I honestly think he's right.

He'd score about 4 goals for us.

He's technically crap but he's quick and because he's quick he gets lucky deflections and bounces.

Ha ha what?

Unless you’re saying that what you’ve stated would be a weird feeling. Which it totally would be.

A 2 year lucky purple patch.
Just like Kane before him.

Wish we had a player who played well for 2 years!

If what we all want to happen happens next week, Spurs will only have two less European Cup wins than us despite not having won the league for nearly sixty years.

As soon as a team is relegated the kit wil adjust to the lower quality of the division below.

Yeah the free kick thing annoys me, we spend ages on them.

The UK is the only place in the world where fans shout "YEAAAAHHHHH" when their team scores a goal. Every other country's fans make a "OOOHHHHHH" sound when their team scores.

Right footed attackers are ten a penny, meanwhile right footed full backs are as rare as hen's teeth.

There are a number of right-footed left backs, but no left-footed fullback has ever played on the right. Ever. In the history of the sport. Not even for one half of one game.

City have scored that exact same goal by smashing it over the keeper at the near post about 15 times this season.
To be fair Aguero is really good at finishing like that and it seems Sterling has learned it from him.
