Love it when a keeper comes up for a corner, quickly put 20 quid on Inter to score last goal (7-1). Always an easy win if corner is cleared from the box.

Shame for Empoli, they were cutting through Inter at will.

Skinrar and De Vrij look very leaden footed and cumbersome against quick 1-2s on edge of the box, were getting opened up at will for last five minutes by a now relegated side.
Looks like it has been disallowed.

Empoli had so many chances.. Meh, Milan only have themselves to blame. Fecked up so many results end of the season.

Game felt like it lasted 5 weeks :lol::lol:

Oh inter...:houllier:

Anyways, mission accomplished. Now bring on Conte

Still not quite sure how empoli got relegated...i mean, normally i would say it's shite strikers, but theirs are actually decent, caputo scored like 15 goals or so. What a weird season this has been.

Bet365 paid out but it will be taken away in next hour.:nono:

Ridiculous to pull back the keeper when he was 10 yards from Brozovic. Just my luck.....again.:(

Only Skriniar and Brozovic IMO. Icardi has a bit of an off mentality and Perisic's ship has sailed.
Is Skriniar really that good? Empoli were cutting Inter back 4 open at will in last 10 minutes, so many quick 1-2s on edge of the box that got them through on the keeper.

Think he was mentioned a while back but Man. United could do worse than try to tempt Handanovic for a year or two. He was huge for Inter in injury time.

I randomly tuned in when Icardi got the pen. What a fecking half hour.

Keita Balde probably the most relieved man in the world.

He faded off a bit, but for the right price would be better than either Smalling or Jones.

They were cutting them at will even in the first half as well, but as a whole that Inter defence is shaky at best.

Agree on Handanovic, but doubt he will leave, or us being interested. If DDG leaves, he's a no brainer - would love him here.

So much focus on Inter and Milan understandbly but.. Atalanta have been fantastic, never let up in their pursuit. Gasperini is a fantastic manager.

Man, whats the point of pushing for 4 teams to be 100% included in CL based on feck all, so their big teams could be in it if they let clubs like Atalanta to take a spot.

The overrated Skriniar, and Perisic? No thanks. I'd rather have AC Milan there. When was the last time they played in the UCL?
I’m not saying they’d be my first choice muppet signings, but compare them to who we have there now. We currently have Phil Jones pretending to be a centre back, and no wings. Our first choice targets sound like they’re going elsewhere or aren’t available. I’d absolutely take them both as opposed to watching another season of that shit.

As for AC Milan being back in the CL I couldn’t give less of a shit if I tried. Great club, but so what?

So Milan and Roma now join us - and hopefully Arsenal - in the Europa.

A club like Atalanta? They have been run perfectly and have been very impressive for the last few years. They deserve it.

We have lost 10 years of our life or something… man this is typical and predictable for Inter…. but at the end the minumum target of the season is achieved.

Thanks for everything to everyone now its time for a big change. Its time to invest heavily on the market finally after all these years

Fiorentina game was funny. Once Inter took the lead, both sides just passed it out defence and played out the 0-0 to keep both of them up. When Empoli equalised it went wild and then went back to passing at 2-1.

Wasn't there big investment last summer?

Radja key for Roma, signed (although not the most durable now hitting 30).

De Vrij, must have CB from Lazio signed to join Miranda and Skinraer.

Keita Balde, fantastic at Lazio although flopped at Monaco and now Inter. Needs counter attack team to truly work best.

Asamoah, played a fair bit even last year for Juve.

Politano, seemed major talent.

These are all tried and tested Seria A players.

Two problems at Inter. Mentality, they are like everyone else miles away from Juve and it really shows in games. I also find their style of play really basic. It's like Moyes is managing them, just always get the ball out to Perisic or Candreva when he plays to cross, cross and cross some more into the box. Obviously that's what Icardi wants but they were still playing the same way when he was in exile. Complete lack of any fantasy in the middle of the pitch.

Would imagine they're regretting not cashing in on Perisic when Man. United came in with big bid 18 months back.

Not yet, Milan and Lazio (winner of Coppa Italia) have qualified for the UEL group stage.

Roma still have to play 3 UEL Qualifying rounds (Same for Wolverhampton, Eintracht Frankfurt, Espanyol and Strasbourg in the top 5 leagues).

My post should give a vibe of mocking those big boys who missed on CL, after all idea behind it was for them to not miss on CL. I am more than glad that Atalanta took one spot, to bad Torino couldnt make it.

Inter only real investment was for Nainggolan: 23 millions + Santon and Zaniolo. (after not buying Rafinha and Cancelo in the previous summer)
Keita,Vrasliko and Politano came on loan, only Politano (for 20 millions) will be bought for sure. Asa and De Vrij were free agents.
We expect much much more from Suning from this summer, Conte will bring a winning mentality to the team but the squad need a big renovation.

They were still on paper good players (Vrsaljko was a regular for Atletico Madrid and had a good wc) although does seem the reality has been different for many of them on the grass.

Compare them to their rivals. Roma is generally a selling club and lost a world class keeper and replaced him with Olson who has really struggled and that created knock on to rest of the team. Napoli lost Jorginho and then halfway through season Hamsik yet still finished 10 points ahead of Inter.

Inter should've been finishing second but guess difference is Napoli squad have total faith in their system whereas Inter plays like a bunch of individuals. I do actually think selling Icardi might be for the best as he really restricts Inter in how they play in the final third. Getting Conte really should improve mentality as he took over Juve at a similar point when they'd lost their way.

AC Milan to EL. No excuses. Atalanta have taken their place for the next UCL, ffs. Milan needs the money and certainly playing in the EL next year is not good news for them. Crap summer window ahead.

Politano is not a world class player but still be a good player. Probably one of the best player of Inter in this season. And 20 million today are peanuts. A very good player costs at least three times this amount of money. Can be a good investment. The problem is that Inter seems to be interested to Chiesa, too, and if they sign Chiesa I don't understand how could Politano stay in the same side without to be considered a sub.

Anyone who has been following Serie A this season would know that Atalanta totally deserves CL, a terrific team that actually scored the most goals in the league. Here's hoping they don't get completely ransacked come summer.

The manager will probably change. A very big problem for them.

Further news from Milan, Bakayoko's recent social media post signifies that he'll be returning to Chelsea this summer, despite Milan having an option to buy him for 35m.
