If you have enough followers and likes and attract big advertisers yes it’s very profitable. The problem with this kind of thing is the more content you have the more money you will make. This is while Robbie is so clever, the reason people watch the streams and content is to laugh at the fans he puts on. He doesn’t even have to do much just holds the mic and lights the fuse.

I’m not 100% sure of numbers but I know a lot of fans cannot stand AFTV.
I can imagine Arsenal fans certainly don't, as their main characters are such unbalanced cretins.

That rant from DT was incredible at the end.

I bet he doesn't act like that in real life or he must get into some right confrontations and he'd get a battering, as despite looking like a slightly chubbier Brian Harvey, I can't imagine he's much of a fighter.

Brian Harvey , bang on. I think he has had a few hidings, he was the guy behind the plane fly overs with *wenger out*, sadly I’m sure he isn’t a character he is actually like that.

it's about £ 1 per thousand views I read somewhere

£ 1, 000 per each million of views - which you then need to repeat annually to be making a living at it

might be wrong - very decent pocket money/occasional windfall level though

How much money do people think youtube generates? He's surely not on that level of money.

And why on earth wouldn't he have to pay tax? You pay tax on everything.
It's not only Youtube though, he also has his show on Channel 4 I think, together with bunch of other stuff.

I remember he bottled going to Wembley for their game v Tottenham this season, as even a guy as soaked with bravado as him realised he'd be a sitting duck there.
I'm sure there's some benefits in being known like he is, but he's certainly a very obvious target for any goons, and football has way more of those than most things.

The thing I don't understand with him, is unlike most of us, we very quickly realised the simple equation of
Giving it loads to others when other teams lose = you get utterly sh!Tloads of abuse back when your lot lose.

He leaves himself so open.

It'd be interesting to know, but I dare say we'll never find out.

He certainly doesn't come across as an intelligent bloke, but when it comes to entrepreneurial skills he's an absolute genius.
A bit like Beckham really.

Just a simple lack of intelligence.

He has a kid. That scares me.
Your parents are meant to be the ones who give you values and a reasoned outlook to life.

Imagine having a ranting joke as a dad.
He takes the kid with him and spouts his rants continuously. I’m no saint but I certainly try my best to keep bad language away from my daughter, of course I make a slip now and again but he just does it naturally.

AFTV gets around 15mil views per month on average and Socialblade, which isn't all that accurate to be fair, has them on around $50-60k/month on the high end but it could of course be lower than that based on quite a number of things.

The payment per view differs quite a lot depending on what kind of content you make, it's anywhere from $1500 up to $8000-9000 per million views (though it's really about minutes watched and if you watch/click the ads more than anything).

In any case Robbie is probably doing quite well.

I just rewatched his rant. It is hilarious. Of all the people to accuse of not going to many games, it's DT, who literally goes to every single game ever!

I really don't get why they were quite so confident pre-game. Chelsea finished 3rd and Arsenal's form of late has been absolutely woeful.

I get being positive/optimistic because there's not a huge gap between them and Chelsea had issues in the build up, but some Arsenal fans thought they were comfortable favourites/were sure they were going to win. It's downright bizarre.

I mean you've got a team in Arsenal who get a nose bleed whenever they have to step outside of the Emirates and, shock horror, they're crap when they have to play a very high pressure final in Azerbaijan. Who woulda' thought it?

That seems about right. Someone called Ice Poseidon on youtube revealed his earning once for a 3 million view video. That netted him just over $3600, so $1.20 per 1000 or £0.95. Of course that's variable on how many people are using ad block, how marketable your channel is seen and lots of other factors. I've heard those make-up tutorial girls can get a fair bit more as their vids translate to sales more often. Think you can also set how many ads are on your vids to a degree too.

Looks like AFTV have pulled in 14 million views in the last 30 days for an estimate of £13300 based of those kind of figures. Then there's all the other stuff Robbie has on the go too. He'll be doing nicely for himself.

Not to mention the three best players on the pitch were probably on Chelsea and as bad as both defenses are, Chelsea have used the same bunch except Alonso for the entire season.

I think Emery's record in the Europa, Sarri not as of that point winning anything yet and that apparent tension from our open training session duped almost everyone into believing Arsenal were favourite's.

Hearing him for 10 minutes while being near him will get me to prison real quick, such an annoying little rat.
I'll be amazed if he doesn't end up there at some point, would only take poundland type bate to reel him in, I'm surprised it hasn't happened already. I did feel a bit sorry for him with the stick he was getting for his view on Wenger situation (Arsene was taking the piss out of them hanging about for so long when he didn't have 'it' anymore and honestly a similar situation at Chelsea i would have been just as incandescent, if not more) but he's shown his true self this year, has absolutely zero respect for not only opponents but fellow fans.

He's just a yapper who flaps his gums for the views. He got into it with someone at a fan game and ended up looking like a little child when the big boys pushed him away from the confrontation.

I thought Robbie seemed a decent bloke but after watching that clip above he's just yet another fake clown. He says those "profit from loss" comments were sarcastic.. Was that why the guy who said it a couple seconds after asked "is that still live, is it muted?" And hit the mute button?

Fecks sake a grown man lying to try and save face about a fan tv channel...

If nature had somehow evolved whereupon anytime one was a hypocrite one would suffer intense physical pain, this world would be a much nicer place.

Sadly, money trumps (pun intended) principles for many people. Don’t feel disappointed - just add him to the list that come The Revolution...

Quite pathetic really but no surprise that the founder of such a pathetic channel is a clown himself..

AFTV profiting from Arsenal loss? Shocked really.

Every time Arsenal get smashed , all Robbie sees is money. Arsenal winning doesn't deliver that.

Anyone see Claude's video which he posted on his own channel of the Europa League final loss?

Was this really any worse than losing 8-2 to a United side with Young, Wellbeck, Anderson and Cleverly pulling the strings? "Worst Arsenal performance ever" is a bit much. This was standard ArsenLOL fair really.

People shouldn't watch it if they don't like certain aspects of it.

Preferring defeats. Taking the piss out of his mates. Exploiting people who become exposed to ridicule & may be vulnerable, and propbably don't need it.

On the other hand, the market delivers. And he'll need a different focus if they go all invincible ever again.

On Robbie’s finances.....presumably his outlays include transport and tickets for all his clan, which must cost a bit travelling to all the europa league places. Not saying he’s not raking it in, but still, that’s a cost to factor in
