Could be just paper talk but rumours have it Barcelona have him on their radar. He's got one year left on his contract so maybe if the right offer comes in it could make sense cashing in this summer.
Personally I'd be gutted if he left. Not only that I'm one of those who feels pretty sure there's a hell of a lot more to the player than what we've seen so far.

Doesn't scare me one bit. At the moment I'm indifferent towards him. I feel he's extremely overrated and I also think he's a good squad option to have and not a starter.

But for the astronomical wages he's demanding, he can leave when a suitable offer comes and I won't miss him a bit.

He's not as good as many portray him to be but he's still a very good player to have around. Unlike Danny Welbeck whom I always saw him as incredibly overrated and I was happy to see him leave I'd be gutted if Rashy left.

Rashford is a good player but he isn’t going to rip things up at Barcelona: a team renowned for their famed ability of caring for the ball.

Presently, he’s barely good enough to maintain a starting position here at United, so I can’t say I’m too bothered either way. But I guess I feel that way about most players in the squad.

I’m baffled if the links of him and Barça are true. He’s got good potential but he’s nowhere near starting quality for a team that has ambitions to win a champions league.

There's more chance of me playing for Barca than RashBonglahor. Him and his agent can do one if they think he deserves some huge pay rise after last season. Sell him and be done with it.

Looking over my shoulder.
His movement and pace in behind defenses would be great for Barca. Imagine Messing feeding him through balls. Even with average finishing, he would score a lot. He's also hard working and can press from the front.

Get a decent fee and I'd be happy with that actually. Don't think he's ever going to be a top player. That said, there's zero chance Barca would want him. Maybe they got confused with Blackburn?

If we get good money for him, I don't mind losing him.

Hasn't really improved since his first half season.

Would like to see Martial return to number 9, spend the money on Sancho next season - should we return to CL football.

I think the club would fight tooth-and-nail to keep him...not so much for his qualiities but for what he represents. Such is the state of United...more public image than substance.

I am all for it, as long as he leaves for the right price. As for losing him, I am not worried in the slightest. Firstly, I don't see what Barcelona see in him; whatever happened to La Masia producing the brightest talents if they can't find a better one than Rashford? Secondly, even if he joined them, I expect him to be given a year or two before moved on to, a club like, Everton.

You are saying it like we would lose Messi.

Reality hurts, he us not good enough at this moment so him leaving wouldn't matter.

I hope we don't lose him, he has all the qualities needed for a top striker. His development stalled a bit but that doesn't mean he's suddenly turned shit. Sterling wasn't where he is now until Pep got his hands on him, I hope Ole can do something similar to Rashford.

Wouldn't bother me in the slightest, he's not good enough to be a starter for us so not sure why Barca would even be interested. Find it hard to believe they want him.
What other club would pay him as much as he gets at United if he decided to go? None, I'd wager. He's not as good as he thinks he is.

It’s like a case of let’s just sell every player at this stage.

We aren't losing him. Barcelona aren't signing Rashford. It's a lot of media hype over nothing.

He's 21 and has huge potential. The fact fans are so impatient with him just shows how far the entire organisation has fallen in recent years

What's this thread about:lol: He's going nowhere. I sincerely doubt Barca are truly interested...

If Rashford leaves us to go to a better team, it will a given that he will get far less minutes than he would here. If they have expectations for him to lead the line they will be disappointed and replace him very quickly. He's a rotation or impact player off the bench at best in a top side.

The only loss in him leaving us is being unable to rinse potential buyers with a ridiculous transfer fee and Lingard becoming the poster boy of our 'successful' promotion of academy players.

Imagine Rashford blasting the ball to row z when Messi is asking for the ball. The Camp Nou would eat him alive.

This. His agent trying to get more money.

If I were United I'd call the agent/Rashy's bluff. As if anyone else will pay him anything like what we'll stupidly give him. Please.

Most likely related to contract negotiation. Someone trying to get a higher wage.
Yup. I like Rashford but I don't see any top club being that interested until he becomes a top player or thereabouts.

I'd like us to keep him but we don't need to panic. He's got a good thing with us.

He’s shit but Barcelona want him.

Messi would be shit these days in a United shirt.

All a load of bollocks anyway. Going nowhere like the rest of the team.

Sorry but just can’t summons up any positivity under this ownership.
