Live in Manchester but have a place on the Algarve near Portimao.
Portimonense are now my 2nd team as some of the Portuguese posters on here know....
My dream is for them to play Utd in Europa League but would still want Utd to win.
I’ve a place in Albufeira. Trying to get a Portimonense shirt to wear when over there to wind up a few mates who own a bar there (sporting and benfica fans) can you best way to contact the club?

Aberdeen is my first team. Soft spot for Cove Rangers as they are just along the road from me just got promoted out the Highland League to the Scottish League 2.

Sir Alex took Manchester United to Allan Park (old ground) to open the suite at the ground. Was a strong team he took up

Dinamo Zagreb, watched the game vs United in Maksimir in 1999. Still can't believe that and I don't remember much from it. It's close but wanted it then and would want Dinamo do win if they'd played again. As much as I love United Dinamo is one of the 1st words I remember hearing as a kid, long before I started watching football.

It is an absolute sh1t hole. It is the extremely loyal supporters that I feel sorry for.
Even worse, Bristol City ground is actually very good.
Yeah night and day compared to Ashton Gate, seen villa play City there and been to the rugby a fair bit and it’s a great ground. Shame for Rovers really as it must be hard for them to get new fans in considering how City are set up

Partizan Belgrade, although the club has lost its identity so much that I don't really care anymore.

Approaching the same point with United.

Nope, exact same thought process with me. AFC Telford supporter.
I'm hoping for some Wycombe up norths on the sat, United on Sunday. It's amazing how few times the opportunity has arisen so far, although I have bottled a few, like Blackpool away when United were on the Friday.

League 1 does have a tonne of northern teams next year though, but even Coventry (playing in Birmingham) or midlands works!

The club and online store are very poor in keeping much stock. Suggest you check nearer start of season when new kit is out. It'll sell out quickly as they don't stock large quantities.

Grasshopper Club Zürich are my team. They are absolute shite for a few years now and sadly got relegated to the second division this season.

If they would play United it would be a strange feeling, don't know who i would want to win in this situation.

FC Groningen is my local club. I visit sometimes but the last few seasons the football has been diabolic so i havent been for a long time.

This season was shit for the first part of the season and in a relegation play-off spot but ended the season playing play-offs for the Europa League. Groningen even won the first game but got destroyed by Odegard (Vitesse) in the second game.

The club won the cup not too long which was a great moment since Groningen never won any major thing.

Arjen Robben en the Koeman brothers started their pro career here. There is even a Koeman stand because their dad also had a history with the club.

As a side note... we are also responsible for brining Luis Suarez to Europe....

Deportivo and Lugo. I was Depor ticket holder for many years, but now I do not have time to go to the stadium, the schedules are too complicated.
Several of my best friends are very involved, also in fan clubs, so I am quite informed.
I have a friend who knows the new president so probably I will meet him soon. I'm sure he's eager to hear my recommendations.
In case you don´t know they are in segunda, and they will play the promotion to go to Primera against Málaga, and if they win against Alba or Mallorca.
I was as well Lugo ticket holder many years ago.
There, in one of my first live matches I saw Jordi Cruyff with Barcelona B, which seemed to me an incredible event.
They are in Segunda too although they were almost always in 2B.

Barcelona and Atlético.
I have gone to the Camp Nou a few times and I keep with great affection a shirt signed by Deco.
I also like Atlético de Madrid. I'm part of a fan club and we get together on weekends to have dinner and watch the games.

I have a small amount of affection for Altrincham. Technically less local than United as I've always lived closer to Old Trafford.

A kid in the street I grew up in got some complimentary tickets through his school when I was about 8 or 9. Like a wannabe little tout he offered them to me/my dad for a small amount of money. We took him up on the offer and went. Went back a few times over the next couple of seasons if United were away and they had home games.

That's all going back 30 years now. I check their results and league table every month or so, more often if they're doing well. Played them on Football Manager a few times and kind of liked it when United reserves used their ground in the past. Used to watch those on MUTV and in very vague terms it was nice for me to see a little connection between the two clubs.

I'd want United to win, not a difficult question to answer.

I'd probably want Atlanta United to beat United just for the headlines, and it would be a pointless friendly anyway.
Born in Scotland but Scottish football is shite. Currently living in Atlanta so I would love to see a match between the two Uniteds. I don't care who wins as long as it's an exciting match

PNE, Preston born and raised, used to go on with my grandad and even had season tickets when I worked for them.
Dyed in the wool red though, and always hoped we'd get them in the cup, which didn't happen until after I'd left.
Typical.

Pretty much this. Its a huge possibility now that Atlanta is getting the respect it deserves and the Mercedez Benz is getting booked for international games. I was there for the Mexico-Venezuela match during the week. Have you been to any AU games at the Benz?

No the quality of domestic football where I am is truly truly painful to watch. I refuse to subject myself to that.

Being Canadian, it would be the Halifax Wanderers of the Canadian Premier League, brand new league with 7 teams. We have the third longest road trip of any domestic league at 4476 KM’s.

I don’t think the two will ever play, mind you HFX Wanderers is closer to winning the CONCACAF Champions League than United is the UEFA.

Portsmouth, I spent 5 years living there, and if I could'nt get to United match's I'd get down to Fratton Park (it was pretty mental at times).

I moved to Melbourne about 2 years ago, got a membership for Victory (obviously wasn't going to go for city). It's pretty good going to games - atmosphere not too bad and you can drink beers in the stand. How come you're not into the A-league? For me it's a decent standard, although the whole play-off system and grand-final really takes something away from the significance of league games. It's a shame the teams aren't better supported, but there are a lot of other sports to compete with!
As you say, other sports play a part. I never had any connection to Victory going up. I loved watching and playing football from a young age, but I grew up in a family that was mad for Aussie rules. The Hawks always were my club for as long as I can remember. I've been going to games with my dad and my uncles since an early age, through the highs and lows of it all. I never had that with any A-league side so it doesn't feel the same and I just can't get into it.

Luton town. Simple because a friend of the family was Cliff Bassett. We used to go to a few games and he picked us up in his helicopter to go there. Was surreal at a young age, but lost touch now. I still follow them, albeit pretty distantly.

This.

I was at that game as well and I celebrated when Beckham scored. He was my idol.

Not really. My local teams are Oldham and Huddersfield; while I don’t wish them any ill will and certainly would be sad to see them disappear, I really can’t get excited about them.

I have a bit of a soft spot for both Sheffield clubs, and am quite looking forward to seeing how The Blades fare next season.
