What reaction would the Glazers get if they now tried to buy a mid-table PL team...?

Nonchalantly scoring the winner...
Just floating this as a hypothetical following on from discussion in other threads...

If the Glazers and Woodward tried to buy a mid-table PL club, say, an Everton, Foxes, Wolves etc - what kind of reaction do you think they'd get at this point...?

What I mean by that is, how do you think the fans of a mid-table PL club would actually react to the Glazers trying to buy the club?

My instinctive answer is that they would find find very difficult after the job they've done at Utd... and although it is a hypothetical situation, I find that a revealing response.

But maybe that's just me - what do you lot say?

Maybe there are some honest mid-table team fans who can voice their actual opinion of such a scenario?

Would they be accepted? Or are we actually at the point of dealing with owners that actually wouldn't be welcome at a lower league club?

Are there not enough Glazer bashing threads? And if you are that interested in an answer why not register with a few of the numerous fans forums of mid-table teams, and ask them yourself?

I am sure Arsenal would love the idea of being owned by Glazers, they would improve their brand and sponsorship, they'll get more money and willing to spend more money in transfer market from their cash reveune

The Glazers bought us at the perfect time. We were the biggest club in the world, one of the best teams in the world and also were in a time when 30 million could buy you a world class player (despite inflation).

It's a genuine question.

And I might!
Despite 13/14 years of negative press for the Glazers I think you'd be surprised at how many fans of clubs who finished 7th-20th in the Premier League last season wouldn't automatically poo poo the idea - that's fans who have the intelligence to separate the factual, and what's just doommongering for the hell of.

You should, and don't forget to report back with your findings.
