Mirror say Madrid will bid £135m but we'll hold out for £150m
Inda has been talking for 2 weeks about the 180m€. I don´t think Madrid will reach that amount, despite Zidane´s wishes.
Let´s see if they can move forward including players, but I also see it complicated

Man Utd: "Oh no, he talks, we better lower our demands now! Inter, we are very sorry, you can have him for 6 milions. Have fun, sorry again"
Why do you need to be so unnecessarily dramatic?

Are you suggesting that it does not weaken a clubs negotiating position if their player is actively talking in the press about wanting to leave and therefore pushing for a move?

Bale must be loving it.. relaxing in Madrid, making 20m/year after tax for 3 more years .

He has won everything.. Don't think he has any interest in moving..

£150m would be amazing but I think even £135m would still be a good deal for us.

That money could get us 2/3 players and maybe players who actually want to be here. I don't think he does anymore.
That's a horrible deal, he's worth at least 200mil. Hazard went for 100mil with one year left.
£150m plus Bale on a free loan for two years.
After seeing what Hazard with one year left and Coutinho went for £150m is the minimum we should be looking for.
Exactly. 150m should be absolutely minimum price. It should be closer to 250m given some of the fees going around. Remember: Sigurdson was 60m and Fred was 58m. Pogba is worth 400m to United. But we should sell if we can get 150 to 175m plus incentives.
I'd take £135m for Pogba if he wants to leave. Just don't let Madrid palm their deadwood off their wage bill and on to ours!

Re: Lukaku. Those quotes are disappointing but not exactly unexpected. Towards the end of the season when we blowing our top 4 chances he was giving interviews talking about his dream of playing in Italy. He escaped criticism at the time for some reason but seems to be getting it in spades now. Anyway I am fine with selling him provided we get a good offer. Rashford will be Solskjaer's starting striker next season and Lukaku earns too much to be a bench player.
Pogba has only 2 years and he hasn't been a huge success with us. 200m is ridiculous. Nobody would pay that.
Agree!

Sorry for multi quoting in the transfer forum but these posts needs be addressed.

Selling Lukaku make some sense but allowing Pogba to leave can’t benefit the club either short term or in the long run. Ole will never sanction such a deal, his job is already hard enough, and I can’t see the club allowing our best player to leave if we want to attract future elite talents to join us.

What evidence is there that Ole can develop young players?

Greenwood, Chong, Gomes has not really leveled up since he has been here yet. Jose deserve more credit for Mctominay, whereas Dalot, Rashy, Martial, Pereira development seems to be going sideways.

Even though, I was one of the first to complain about United galactose signings under the past few managers, I believe we need a manager that actually good at developing young hungry players if we are to move away from this model. If we don’t, we will be battling with the likes of leceisters, Everton and West Ham.

Where's the evidence he can't? He's been in the job for 5 months, how about giving him a pre season before saying he can't develop players?

1st) wtf you do realise he's been here for half a season and the lot you just mentioned are all like 17 years old and yet he's given them minutes

2) you do remember he actually was our youth reserve coach and did fantastic with them right?

Would have been an insult of we rescued him and Real.
Rescued Bale? I dont think the guy needs rescuing, he's enjoying his mini retirement playing golf in the sun taking home 600k a week, Real on the other hand...

I don’t think Bale needs rescuing from a job in Madrid with zero actual work involved and a 20 mill a year pay check. Madrid on the other hand are hoping and praying that we rescue them

The idea we have been a club of marquee signings is a myth. It's not supported by evidence. Majority of our signings in the last six years have been "talents to develop". We have just been abysmal at developing that talent and getting any bang from our buck for big signings. We have failed in all areas.

He's also won every trophy there is to win prior to this, so all loose ends tied up. Give me a fecking life like that...

I don't think Madrid will offer any player that United would want as part of the deal, and any we did want for the team would be unlikely to want to join us at this moment in time.

If any deal will happen it'll be all money, which is why I doubt it'll happen this summer.

Don't think 135 is a good deal at all. Coutinho and Dembele went for that much didn't they?
