United have always stayed within an affordable budget and yet have always been criticised for big spending!
Meanwhile, media darlings, City, Chelsea, Real and Barca, can spend however much they like without balancing the books whatsoever.
United are way more honourable than those clubs, it’s such a shame that we are handicapped by owners that bought us by borrowing against our own value. Should never have been allowed, but that’s crappy capitalism gone mad for you.
