Very interesting news this. Xabi Alonso does strike me as the sort who'd do very well as a manager given the intelligent way he played and the managers he served under throughout his career.

Guess he'll step up to be La Real manager within 12-18 months once he has enough experience with the B team. Very much one to watch here.
Similar to Guardiola there in some ways. Although not sure he is as much as leader though he is a calmer person.

Poor Ronaldo. For what I read he seemed a very committed president. Following the team a lot.
I remember reading a story about how he managed the signing of Stiven Plaza in Ecuador, and recently he invited the whole team to Ibiza for staying in primera.
7 players is no small thing.
Apparently Huesca also suspected and offered bonuses for the last matches

Lopetegui new coach at fc sevilla. I would have liked to see him at Bayern or Man Utd, but FC Sevilla is another good choice!

Very advanced talks between Madrid and Atleti for Llorente. It could be agreed in the next days. Llorente said yes and he would be very excited with Simeone´s project.

Real Sociedad sign Portu.I also read that they wanted Sarabia.Adding Isak and without nobody threatening Oyarzabal/Zubeldia they could make a nice team

Barcelona declare Dembele as non-transferable.
They have told his setting to be calm because the signing of Neymar is impossible

Llorente to AM is a qood choice. Llorente has no chance against Casemiro, but is to good for the bench. He need to play constantly. Good move for the player and AM.

Llorente > casemiro. As simple as that. And we have the entire year as a proof.

2-0 with a "ghost" goal. I think that crossed completely the line. Very good result for Depor.
On sunday the second match, in San Juan, the biggest party in Coruña, hopefully with a promotion to Primera.

Didn't even know they celebrated it too up there. Biggest party in Porto too, can't wait :)
And I didn't know It was popular in Porto.
You should come with your friends!
Here lots of sardinhas and churrasco in the street during the week and bonfires in every neighbourhood, with the big party on the main beaches, which as you can guess becomes a mega "botellón", of which I am very loyal :D

Already have plans for this year, maybe next time! Or maybe you should come to Porto instead :)

It's the same thing here, lots of sardinhas, churrasco, beer and music. Also plastic hammers to hit random people in the head, hot air baloons and lots of fireworks. Then a walk to the beach to see the sunrise at the end of the night.

As for the football, would be great news to see Depor back but I really dislike the playoff concept at the end of the season. Would be weird to see them finish 6th and then go up.

In the Alicante region it was all about the hogueras, fire jumping, and of course the parades (of stuff you set fire to!)

Anyway, it would be good to see Deportivo back up. Are they in better shape to survive in Liga1 again now?

I must admit I haven't paid much attention to Liga 2 for a while so I was shocked to see Mallorca in the playoffs. I thought they were more likely to go bankrupt (again) than get back in La Liga.

Yes, It's a bit unfair but they need something to keep the competition alive, with 5 or 6 teams involved.
I preferred the 2+2 of years ago.

Yes, Mallorca was a good comeback.
It seems that now they have more money.
Depor will have it difficult again.
It is a team made with many players with experience in segunda, to get the promotion.
I imagine that they will build the team with many loans.
The coach is also new

Always liked those Mallorca teams when Eto'o played for them, they were in champions league one season.

They return to La Liga. Depor stay down another year.

Another year in Segunda, and without the relegation insurance,so not candidates for promotion,at least not so clearly.
Mallorca can feck off(except Rafa),such a dirty team and fans.
Now time for the party :) @Peyroteo you could be with a bonfire, drinks,a couple of girls and a nice chat about Messi during all night :D
I was about to ask if that was because they finished higher - then I saw the goal flash to say Mallorca had scored again.
Yes,that was the reason
