Looks unbalanced to me because you've plowed all your money into 3 players.
That's just their price. I picked those 3 based on the first set of fixtures. The others were based on points scored last year. So I ended up with the 2nd best keeper, top 3 wing back, 2 top scoring midfielders and Kane will be getting rotated depending on the fixtures. A few were show horned in admittedly

Trouble is 3/4 of your bench is unlikely to play which means you have to play Torreira and Hojberg every week, who even with a good fixture, are very likely to score you sweet fa.

It'll only stay like that for a few games. Those shite bench player's will be upgraded eventually depending on the fixtures

Jesus is pointless. Costs a lot, barely plays.

I think he will play more this season.
Between Rashford and Jesus I went with Jesus, scoring for Brazil and was getting better towards the end of last season.

Can always change him if Rashford hits a purple patch like he sometimes does.

I'm going to go 4-4-2 this season. Although I do prefer a 3-man defence usually, the £ per points is just too good for the better defenders.

Fabianski
Robertson-VVD-Laporte-Digne
Salah-Maddison-Zaha-Sigurdsson
Kane-Jota

Any comments?
Yeah i;m copying.

Rashford will start every game, Jesus is a distinct 2nd choice after Aguero. At the amount he costs, you want 90mins week in week out.

Yeah but will Rashford score couldn’t hit a barn door towards the end of last season and Jesus was quite clinical.

Have Yarmolenko as sub if Jesus don’t play who can be good for a goal or two and will start.

Now Accepting Positive Reps.
Why are people putting in AWB over Shaw?

AWB enables Shaw returns by firming up our defence and offering a better chance of a CS and Shaw comes with better attacking output.

Shaw - 1 G, 5A in 2591 Mins.
AWB - 0G, 3A in 3134 Mins.

Basically, there has never been a better time to get Shaw is how I see this.

Playing about with options.

Alisson
Robertson Shaw Trippier ElMohamady
Mane KDB Siggy Zaha
Aguero King

Could have Begovic/Wilson over Alisson/King, or could have Begovic/TAA over Alisson/Shaw.

Also undecided on Richarlison, Salah vs Mane, KDB vs Sterling etc. Basically, my Week 1 team probably wont look anything like the above.

Matt Ritchie listed as a defender is interesting, he takes NUFC Pens and is more of a left winger.

Couldn't resist taking our new lad on board;). At 6.0 he may be a good value for money, you never know.

AWB -> Shaw the possible change as I can see AWB providing the balance neccessary for Shaw to bomb forward. Luke was a good attacking outlet under Mourinho at the beginning of the season before all went to shit. Then came Ole and decided he needed to stay deep as we would be too vulnerable, which was the right thing to do.

Changed already.

Kepa
Robertson Digne Walker
Mane Bilva Zaha Siggurdson
Kane King Deulofeu
Alisson
Robertson Digne Walker
Mane Sterling Zaha Siggy
King Jota Deulofeu

Lloris
Robertson Digne Alonso
Mane Sterling Zaha Siggy
King Jota Deulofeu

Scares me not having a premium forward though. I like the second team.

I would easily have Kolasinac if mr.Emery is playing him regular. I dont like Emery rotate him with Monreal or doesnt trust on Kolasinac. With clinical striker like Aube and Lacazette, 5.5 is a no brainer. So instead of Kolasinac, im having Bissaka. But im not sure yet. Bankers is two Liverpool defenders. Last spot is beetween Bissaka and Arsenal left fullback. Assists from them

Don't like the look of his 18m front line!
Works for me, with defenders and mids being better value. Perhaps slightly riskier as it’s less given that defence and mids will score points but if the maths checks out..

Until someone like Kane or Aguero really starts killing it, and others have them as captain.

What's awks this season, is Mane/Salah are both in the African nations, so surely will either be rested, or not 100% when the season starts.
Plus their full backs now look over priced at 7m

I normally make the mistake early season of too much money in defence.

Are they overpriced though? If they score at the same rate again 7m is pretty good when it comes to points per million, even if it's a lot for a defender.
Last season was all about defenders, at the start especially.

That is the big question chief.
I got it wrong last year having Alonso for way too long, and he wasn't worth it.

Will teams clamp down more on Liverpool's marauding full backs this season? Let's hope so.

It's tough to do so with Salah and Mane on the wing too. If they're not there off the bat they might not come out the blocks so fast. Then again, they're that rapid I bet they'll still go for it.

I'm hoping the story of how they won't add anyone major to their squad this season is true.
That won't be smart, so let's hope it isn't!

Aye, they need to look to capitalise on being CL winners. Maybe they're saving the cash for when they really need it and hoping for the best though.

Laporte Alderweireld Arnold Wan-Bissaka

Deulofeu King Giroud

Button, Aarons, Buendia, Grealish

Might beef up the attack but I don't trust anyone but Aguero to deliver really. Hoping for another monster-season from KDB.

Trying to cover all basis here.

Eriksen on set-pieces and his assists will cover anything Kane gets hopefully. Likewise with Firmino, might not score as much as Mane or Salah but will contribute at least 20 goals scoring and assisting.

Fabianski
Azpilicueta van dijk Robertson
Zaha Eriksen Sigurdsson Madisson Sterling
Firmino King

Button Rico Kelly Wickham

I've been playing six or more seasons now and reckon that the game is seriously flawed now because the budget has remained at 100m for a decade as far as I can tell, yet the prices just continue to rise.

Okay, on the reverse side, forwards like Lukaku and Rashford are the same value and on the cheap side but you'd plump for other big-budget forwards than them I'd wager.

At a pinch, you could muster a side with three marquee midfielders or two plus Aubameyang / Kane / Aguero etc but the rest of the squad pans out around 5.5-6m.

Wouldn't be so bad if these increases were on the small and sensible size but Mane is hiked by 2m along with other key players... what do others think?

They should increase the budget? This is like being at work with no pay increase for ten years!
