Price is a no brainier but where does it leave Garner and Gomes? Are they still that far behind that they couldn't come off the bench and offer something...? If they are then they def need a loan move. No point being in the squad if you are still behind a 15m player. You could argue both are worth more....
I'd agree with this, however, I personally think we are more in need of a holding midfielder than a box to box midfielder. Although not a the possible required level to take us back to the top, we have Fred and McTominay who can play that role. As holding midfielders go, we only have Matic. We need someone else!

Looks better than anything we have (including Pogba if he's consistent, whats the point in having Pogba looking the part 1 in 5 games? ). I'd sign him in a heartbeat at the price quoted. We do need more though. No point making these signings and having Matic clumsily slow every move down. And I want Pogba to go.
For the price, he can certainly do a job. Prem proven as well. This will be a great gauge on Oles developmental side if he can get this lad playing well.

Interesting. To me, if we were to get him, it should be as a squad player, but we have McTominay and Fred for that. If we're looking to sign a starting midfielder, it should be someone of higher quality than Lemina, in my opinion.

Garner played, what, 2 minutes last season? He’ll get opportunities with Lemina coming as well, it shouldn’t have much of a realistic effect. He shouldn’t impact Gomes minutes either as they don’t play the same role within a team.

We have 1 good midfielder in pogba and the rest are either young and upcoming (scotty), squad players, or need to be sold. If we bought in 2 top midfielders this summer, we would be much better off as a whole team. When comparing our midfield to other teams we are so far behind.
