Feeling very stupid I didn't know you could turn off the battle talk in Xenoblade. I put over 100 hours into that game listening to that nonsense the whole time.
I played a ton of Mario kart thinking my left controller was fecked because it kept steering left. Turns out I had motion controls on.

59B 8F9 57G.

Just testing out a few bits with coasters, spike walls, on/off switches, platforms and z jumps. Have something bigger planned for the future involving all of these.

But for 20 seconds, i think this one is a decent first level
What skill or knowledge am I lacking?

I get to the bit with the shell on top of the flower thing and I jump into the spikes. How do you clear that bit?

Found two fun levels today.

Inventive puzzle level: WNJ5GS6XG
Mario Kart: YF0H08MGF

Its a Z jump, so you spin off of the first buzzy beetle, but hold the z button so he does a big z jump to the second one then onto the falling platforms.

From the top one do another big z jump to another beetle, onto the wall, then into the pipe

It's a good deal, I know a few people who only play it portable anyway so I'd say they'd have preferred that to the normal Switch.

And if no motion control means not having to use it on those fecking BoTW shrines then I'm jealous.

That thing is gonna sell like crazy

£170 in the U.K. seems like a great deal for kids or people who play portable exclusively.

I have only ever docked it once to see how it plays but have exclusively used it undocked. If my switch broke today I'd 100% replace it with a switch lite.

Officially the best poker player on RAWK.
Considering there's no dock, motion controls or even detachable ones, and it's all round much cheaper to make, knocking just £80 off is hardly something I'd call a great deal

I wouldn't speak too soon. Sure they prob will do it with Zelda, but devs have been told to patch their games or it will be that people still have to use extra controllers for games with certain features. Like with 1-2 switch.

It shouldn't affect a huge amount, but those with forced features it will.

I suppose they couldn't discount it too much, or nobody would buy a full price switch, but had to discount it enough to tempt people that don't want to shell out that much on a full price one.

Oh for sure.

It's just not something I'd call a great deal. And considering there'll be a buffed switch before we know it, I for one certainly couldn't justify that. Having said that, it's a great machine for those without one and being even more affordable makes it more of an easy decision.

Wonder how much the pro will cost. Expecting 399, but that’s a lot when you could buy a x or PS4 pro for that price.

Would there be a downgrade in visuals/graphics ?
Nintendo said some games will have restrictions. I do expect a bit of a downgrade compared to the normal one.

This is more targeted for the Pokemon crowd. If they market it properly after what happened with Pokemon go it could sell very well.

I don't think there is an official UK RRP yet, but I'd expect it to be £179.99. Being £100 cheaper is still a great deal in most people's eyes I expect, it's almost like a no-brainer purchase. But when you weigh it all up, I think maybe if they really wanted to, they could have shaved another £20 of that and still been profitable on the hardware (most don't profit on hardware much if at all, at least for the first few years).

I don't think there will be any downgrades there, it's the same thing at the end of the day. If anything, they may look slightly better on a screen the best part of an inch smaller and of course, it looks like you might get an average of an hour longer playtime out of the battery on this. This definitely has a different target audience in mind though.

So the Switch Lite is priced at £200 after looking at the pre order pages from Amazon and GAME. Americans get it £40 cheaper.

If it was priced at £180 would have been a decent price.
