He would've instantly become my favourite ex-City and Liverpool player if he had done that
He was a lazy feckWhy things didn't work out for him at Liverpool ?
Hates? Based on what? He's just a WUM, like when he wore a Rashford t shirt in case he scored against PSG after we had knocked them out.Balotelli hates our club so I'm a bit baffled about the love-in he suddenly receives on the Caf.
He was not taking training seriously. He might be unimpressed with Rodgers but you do not disrespect your manager in your first training session. Why things didn't work out for him at Liverpool ?
Well that makes Sturridge's exit clearerHe was not taking training seriously. He might be unimpressed with Rodgers but you do not disrespect your manager in your first training session.
He seemed to think that strikers do not need to contribute defensively. This attitude means Klopp does not trust him.
In the season Klopp arrived, Klopp's preferred strikers are Firmino and Origi. The only reason Sturridge started the Europa Final was because Origi got injured.Well that makes Sturridge's exit clearer
He denied the Rashford thing straight away.Hates? Based on what? He's just a WUM, like when he wore a Rashford t shirt in case he scored against PSG after we had knocked them out.
How can you get these two mixed up? One is man utds best player and highly regarded footballer whilst the other one is a legend in his own mind.Really hope we get rid quickly....oh sorry I always mix him and Pogba up
Hasn't he calmed down a lot since his daughter was born? You get the odd story like this but nothing like in his time at Man. City when fireworks were being let off in his house and loads of other stuff. He would be in jail if not for football.
He's damaged goods in England.Hasn't he calmed down a lot since his daughter was born? You get the odd story like this but nothing like in his time at Man. City when fireworks were being let off in his house and loads of other stuff.
Think I read he left Marseille so can see him popping up somewhere in premier league next season as his goal output was pretty good in France.
On a free transfer I could see Newcastle with their lack of strikers or West Ham who have lost Aranutovic, Andy Carroll and Hernandez (soon) as striker options biting. He's damaged goods in England.
2 attention seeking toxic elements that I hope I don't see play for UnitedHow can you get these two mixed up? One is man utds best player and highly regarded footballer whilst the other one is a legend in his own mind.
Pogba had no toxicity issues at Juve or France but all of a sudden he is a toxic character like Mario.....2 attention seeking toxic elements that I hope I don't see play for United
But he did under Ferguson, mourinho and solskjaer. Strange.Pogba had no toxicity issues at Juve or France but all of a sudden he is a toxic character like Mario.....
He's massively overrated in my view. He's not terrible, but for considering his profile he's only ever hit the 20 goal mark - in all comps by the way - once in his entire professional career and this was in France; yet somehow gets mentioned in thevsame breath as top strikers. He’s a good player. He was, for me, harshly profiled by the British media, and then when he came to Liverpool, he was referred to as some sort of failed footballer, despite him having scored goals at Inter, City and Milan - in addition to his country.
Out of England he seems to have been allowed to grow up, but he’s not the failure that he’s often lazily referred to as. He’s scored goals pretty much everywhere since he was a teenager.
He’s not amongst the very best strikers, but he’s a good player. He was a bit of an obsession for the press over here though, and didn’t get the credit for being actually useful on the pitch. He's massively overrated in my view. He's not a top striker, he's an ok player that can score some really good goals but comes with a ton of baggage.
I just never felt comfortable with how he was profiled when he went back to Liverpool. He was labelled a ‘gamble’ despite, at that point, having been a reliable goalscorer everywhere, and his struggles on the pitch there were reported as some sort of personal attack, rather than a footballer struggling to settle at new club.
