Is it a brown kit a subtle bit of trolling from Adidas about the standard of what we have produced since they came on board again.

So that kit is a tribute to a bit of wall in Manchester.

These kit tributes get worse every year.

Juve also have a beige or off white away kit with a shitty print on it and it still manages to be a lot better than that thing.

The colour isn't that bad... but the print I don't like. Hopefully it'll grow.

It's more of a gold from what I've seen of the pics, I like it.

Looks a lot better from a far but it's still quite a bit shit. I'm not sure why they don't want to give us a white kit anymore. We haven't had one for three years now, somehow.

Looks good. Pairs well with black jeans and some white trainers. The Chevrolet logo especially, really suits this kit.

Does the hoodie Lingaard is wearing come with the shirt? Why do we have Lingaard as the poster boy for all the jerseys? It does not exactly scream ambition. Is it because they think he is a hot model or what?

I kind of like it, but also think itll look a bit weird on the pitch. Also why all the slightly off colors lately, what's wrong with a normal white kit? Our home should always be the same shade of red, and our aways/thirds should rotate between blue, black and white. Feck all the "off whites".

I like the colour, I'm not that keen on the print but the shirt is fine overall. I must say these tribute/'inspired by...' kits are getting a bit silly now. I can't wait for our grey and bright yellow away strip to celebrate Manchester's tram carriages.

Colour is fine, even quite nice. The pattern is just completely nonsensical, it seems that since our first kit with them adidas have almost been trolling us with some of these designs. Is it a conspiracy that they don't want us to renew with them so are putting out the worst designs possible?

Meanwhile they release a belter for Arsenal.. Surely a bit of market research would show them that the most popular shirts presently are simple designs with an 80's retro feel to them, yet they always have to go for something so left field: snake skin, the trinity one, the black bottom, the pink kit etc. Why?

We've had plenty of great designs, even in our recent history 1990's-2000's, but they cant seem to draw inspiration on any of them.

Btw, has anyone seen the special edition leopard print florescent one they did for us last year? the worst kit I have ever seen by some considerable distance, it was hideous.

Our first Adidas kits were basically just that.

They could've just made an one off yellow kit with blue lines as a tribute to an actual kit we wore in the 70's, but nope, rather to a tribute to a newspaper, the creative district, a statue (although that was a fan design tbf) and a non existent Manchester rose.

Just some weird decision making.

Reminds me a bit of the New Zealand one day cricket kit from the 80s. Probably because it's the only sports kit I can think of that's been beige or tan. They brought it back the other year for T20.

Don't really mind the colour, not too keen on the print at all.

Think it's a solid kit.

Don't think there's been a kit in which fans haven't complained about since about 2006.

And even then i reckon fans complained about the shade of red.

What exactly is this away kit a tribute to?

Our home kit this season is quality, there should be no complaints about that. Last year’s away jersey was also nice. Regardless, people will complain since it’s pink.

exactly, both the home and away were and they have been some of fans favourite kits in recent times don't you agree?
Absolutely. I assume they'll move onto mad Arsenal jerseys next year, that just seems to be how Adidas do it at the moment. Wouldn't be surprised if our kits next year were "classic" style jerseys though. Few years of mad ones followed by classic ones.

I think the classics are almost always the way to go. I hope so, it's frustrating when they seem to churn out great kits year on year for Madrid, Juve and Bayern whilst we get the experimental designs which are largely awful. I wont be buying a new one until the chevvy logo is gone, personally just cant get on with it.

To be fair, Juve's kit this year is shite and experimental. Also Bayern fans had a huge protest about their kits last year. So it's not just us!

Anyone paying money for that away kit is clinically insane.

If we can't just have a nice standard white or black away kit, why can't we go back to the royal blue or the blue and red trim away kits. Those were actually nice.
