What?? When has Ronaldo had a problem with a teammate? His relationship with the Madrid dressing room was fantastic, as it is in Turin and it's the same with Portugal. Messi's the one who gets reports all the time of having favourites in the dressing room and way too much influence, hence why Barcelona spent the last season getting called 'club de amigos' by the press in Spain.

For all the cries about Ronaldo's selfishness and him being an egocentric, his teammates certainly don't seem to get the same impression for some reason. If they disliked him and there had been dressing room problems maybe his teams wouldn't have regularly overperformed and Ronaldo wouldn't have been european champion more times in a decade than FC Barcelona in its entire history.
This is true, you rarely here rumours of him selecting players or keeping certain players out of the national team.

Garrincha was superior to Pele in the Brazil NT. Played a bigger part in '58 and single-handedly won the '62 WC. Pele's reputation far exceeds his ability in my opinion.
This. Brazilians all feel the same way.

When has Ronaldo had a problem with a teammate? His relationship with the Madrid dressing room was fantastic, as it is in Turin and it's the same with Portugal. Got along extremely well with Ramos and was one of the few that actually talked to Bale since he speaks english. Look at their talk after the 2016 Euros semifinal. Messi's the one who gets reports all the time of having favourites in the dressing room and way too much influence, hence why Barcelona spent the last season getting called 'club de amigos' by the press in Spain.

In the past few years he's undoubtedly been a great team player, leader and captain. Even if it wasn't the case when he was younger.
The dressing room was pissed at him during the 2018 CL when he was hinting at his departure to the press

Ramos definitely dislikes Ronaldo, no love lost there

A guy sleeps with a teammates wife and yet Messi is the reason icardi doesn’t join the NT even though he did end up playing for them

Terrible post

He married her... Plus Maxi isn't even in the national team, he's a friend of Messi who took a personal issue into his professional work, the truth is whoever Messi doesn't like won't play. He has way too much power.

Yes because there were SO many players who didn’t make it to the NT

Give it up, the rest of the team wasn’t comfortable with icardi and he STILL made the NT so your point is invalid

And look at icardi with inter, he’s toxic as hell

Icardi is just mediocre, that's why he wasn't in the team, he didn't even play for Inter.

That is completely not true at all. Why do you feel the need to lie?

They were literally chanting his name and for him to stay one day after the 2018 CL final.

Ramos and Ronaldo get along great as always. You have no clue what you're talking about. You're not spanish are you?

Going to be fun watching Ronaldo play next to mediocre Paolo Dybala and Higuain/Icardi next season while they don't even start for Argentina

Then they can go from incredible between August and May to mediocre in June and July. The opposite of Nelson Semedo.

No he only got into squad late last year in the friendlies because Messi wasn't in the squad, his form was fine in the first half of the season, at that time he was scoring big goals in the CL too.

ANd how’s he doing with inter now? He’s banned from the team.

If Messi was the reason for it then he was right.

Dude are you kidding me? Their relationship absolutely soured by the end of 2018 CL run. There was tension in that celebration if you’d even want to call it that. Ramos was pissed at Ronaldo and if you look at Ronaldo’s post match interview it pissed off the rest of the team that Ronaldo was hinting at his departure.

The evidence was there, you’re being a blind homer

No, they'll still want Ronaldo to win the treble next to him though. While arguing that Argentina are a one man team with Dybala not even even playing.

And Dybala was still very good last season btw, don't follow football through stats sheets. His role changed but he was still very good and one of the best Juve players.

You're talking so much out of your ass. Watch the Ramos interview on the subject right after it happened. In spanish to undertsand what he's saying in context.

Ramos disagreed and thought it was wrong. Relationship between them was always great though. Watch the celebrations in Madrid on the day after the final too.

It's simply not true in the slightest Ronaldo's been a problem in the dressing room at all, it's been the exact opposite.

I’m not saying he’s a dressing problem but he wasn’t a locker room angel. Ramos was annoyed Ronaldo made the post CL celebration about him instead of the team by hinting at his departure

His goalscoring figures are padded through some of the regional football, but nobody remembers him for that. He's remembered because he up against the majority of the great defenders of his time - Beckenbauer, Schulz, Burgnich, Facchetti, Rosato, Moore, etc - and got the better of them all. He dominated Brazilian football, he dominated South America and he dominated the international game, both at club level (look at how he destroyed the European Champions Benfica) and for Brazil. It's hard to imagine him doing any more against top opposition frankly.
Pele is an overrated player. 500 of his 1,281 goals were scored in friendlies mate. And yes he dominated brazil because he played in the most dominant team of the country(Santos).

During his early United days I’ve always felt some players are secretly pissed at him (for showboating and self-glorifying) but then, he always carried them and they always win trophies because of him, so what can they complain, once he left they are in trouble. And he also is great leader/motivator/character on the pitch, and a great guy outside the pitch, his teammates really likes/needs him.

For the dressing room part, they are only pissed (if there is any) because he is leaving them, not because he is playing with them, that’s a huge difference though.

found it on the net, copied. Shhh....
Yeah, that was my original source. I cut it down to a single tour though because what I find most remarkable though was the playing every other day in different countries.

I know Pelé could score goals, he had nothing to prove there. Now, being able to play, travel, play, travel, play... perform and consistently score 24 goals, in 19 games, over 39 days while not getting anywhere near the protection players get today. It's insane.

Messi kept Tevez out as well. It's a known "thing" with Messi, ridiculous to argue otherwise.

No chance Romario is better than Pele. No Brazilians i ever met rated Friedenreich as a GOAT. Even in the pre-war era Leonidas was considered to be better than Friedenreich.

Maybe you didn't watch but Dybala was a better player when he didn't play along Ronaldo, bad example.

That’s just not true... his best games came in the first half of the season with both Ronaldo and Mandzukic, then Mandzukic got a bad injury and Juve’s season took a big turn for the worse. Along with Dybala’s and any sort of attacking football.

Anyway, that’s not the point.

The point is that you’ll be asking Ronaldo to win the treble next to Dybala and Icardi/Higuain while calling Argentina a one man team where Messi has to do everything by himself when Dybala, Icardi and Higuain aren’t even good enough to start for them.

So he only scored 800 goals in official matches then. What a faker.

He was far far better player for Real Madrid then he has ever been at United, whether he dribbled more or not is besides the point.
That's debatable, his 08 season matches upto any season at Madrid imo.

Instead of comparing the two. This thread should be permanently closed. We should enjoy them and understand we won’t come across players like this for a long time. Enjoy watching both play for heavens sake. They are both in a league of their own.
