Even the injury was classic Bailly, body out of control, searching for the ball, balance all over the place. He is a youtube defender, in chosen highlights he can look fantastic, but there are so many basic mistakes in his game.

Guy is basically Phil Jones the second. It's sad that he is out again but we may move on. Pity as I had high hopes when he signed but it became apparent pretty early that he was too rash and was never going to be someone a decent team could rely on.

Injury prone and not very good. No idea why he's still here.

Manchester Utd never lose, just run out of time
I swear this guy looked like an absolute monster of a centre half when he first joined. What happened? Is my memory failing and he’s always been rubbish?
He was very good for the first two or three months. He also had a decent month or two later that first season. In between those two periods he started looking a bit shaky, picked up an injury, went to the ACON, and then came back from the ACON in absolutely atrocious form and we dropped him.

At the time we obviously had high hopes that as he matured and got used to the league he would iron out the negatives and we'd seen far more of the good stuff. Unfortunately the exact opposite has happened as he's gotten worse and worse each season.

He is if he starts, that's how it works. You're suggesting TFM as a preferable starting option when he's not as good a player. If we have them all in the squad it's up to the manager to pick the best of the 3 options... (or none of them) that's the manager's job. If we get rid of Bailly because we've got TFM then we're making the manager's job more difficult. I don't know why we would want to do that. If TFM or Tuanzebe outperform the other defenders in training, they'll play.
Players improve when they play games. Do you think Sancho would be the player he is if he was still sat on Man City's bench? It's not a difficult notion that I'd rather offload an injury prone player that still holds some value and hasn't shown that he's good enough. I'd rather not block the progress of other players that have the chance to be good players for us.

We're not talking about a young player who went to Germany and lit up the league. We're talking about one that struggled on loan at Fulham & Palace.

I can't believe how unlucky this boy is :( Still think he deserves another season to prove himself but with a new injury the signs are not good.

Pros and cons of freakishly hypermobile ligaments and tendons. This guy can throw all kinds of shapes but he really doesn't have much control. Unfortunately, coupled with his mentality, he's not cut out for top-level football. Best case scenario is he comes back with composure and well-controlled body movements but that will basically make him a below average defender. It's like giving away your superpowers.

Best of luck elsewhere.

Got great ability and talented but flawed. Erratic decision making and injury prone. He can't build any partnership with any player if he's getting sent off or injured. Shame but can't be relied on, simple as.

I don't know about you guys, but today it felt like he faked an injury because he realised he was out of his depth. Bailey really isn't very good...hopefully I'm wrong...

What? Ole said he twisted his knee and will need to get scanned to see how bad it is. Your statement is a huge reach, basically calling Bailly a coward.

Get rid please. Less reliable than Jones. How can we put up with that?

More of calling Bailley shite. He took some steps on it before he went down and then all of a sudden needed a strether? I wasnt buying it

So you are calling him a coward, not just shit. And are you writing his name wrongly on purpose?

Did you even watch the game and see how upset he was with that injury? If yes, that is one stupid post.

Yes I did, and I saw him struggle defending and then take about 6 steps without any problem before falling to the ground. watch the "injury" again. he wasn't even limping. I think his confidence is shot...

Yes I did watch the game. And I saw no awkward movement, and I saw him take 6 or 7 steps before he want to ground and then all of a sudden he needs a stretcher? Like I said, I hope I'm wrong

It's clear to him as well that he is playing for his career here, and he was pretty upset with that injury, he also had a very good pre season up till now. He also isn't one of the guys to fake an injury, that is what is making your post laughable. I like him but after that I think he is done here, as he should be, but let's not perform mental gymnastics on this.

EDIT: There's also a picture of Bailly leaving the stadium on crutches and his leg in a protective boot.

You can blast your ACL and still take a few steps. See Klay Thompson destroy his ACL and still take his free throws a few months ago (basketball). Regardless this is one of the most bizarre reaching comments I have seen on here in a while

Terminate his contract already. Would be far more efficient than having a sick note around in the squad and wasting club physios and doctors on him. This is supposed to be a professional football club, not a fecking hospital.

Now i'm questioning if you watched? He didn't twist it. nothing awkward. he walked around for a bit and then went to ground. when you do your knee you know right away. i know...i just had knee surgery 4 weeks ago
Mate, what's with the agenda? You write consecutive comments saying the same things, answered the same post twice and all that just to slander Bailly. We got it, you really really don't like the guy.

I managed to walk with a slight limp 10 mins after injuring my knee, and I tore my ACL.
