Not worried about Ashley and Matic but hope we cash on Baily,Andreas and Darmian in this window.

DDG/Henderson/Tuanzebe/TFM will extend I believe.

Are you sure we dont have an option on Bailly? Not that I want him to stay but I thought we put an option on every new signing we've made over the last few years

I thought Darmian was leaving on a free this summer :annoyed:

Other than DDG, Henderson and Tuanzebee, I don't think the other players deserve renewed contracts. Baily still has some resale value hopefully.

In this market, surely he is still worth £20-£30m? We cant afford him leaving for £0, like Herrera.
I don’t think he does, he can barley stay fit, why would anyone pay 20-30 for a player like that?
If he can get over his injuries, he could still become a useful player for us.
If he’s going to have another season like the previous one, then there’s no way we should be extending imo.

Manolas just moved for 30 something million Euros, and he’s a better player than Baily and can actually stay fit.

If Lyon come in for Bailly at £15/20m we should sell. Romero, Grant, Darmian, Young can be let go.

I'd keep Matic on for a final year just for cover and experience.

I'd renew DDG, Henderson, TFM, Tuanzebe and Periera. Although I wouldn't mind if TFM and Periera are moved on if we get good offers.

Not much movement expected in regards to these really. All extension options will be activated if there's no business done prior to get them a new contract, if it isn't it will be once the extension is activated whether that be a sale or a new deal. De Gea is the only pressing one which we'd want sorting out before the new season starts.

Young and Grant will be released once their current contracts end.

David de Gea
Nov 7, 1990 (28) - Dont really care

Nemanja Matic
Aug 1, 1988 (30) - Should be sold but he wont, they will take one year option on him.

Dean Henderson
Mar 12, 1997 (22) - They should extend his contract

Eric Bailly
Apr 12, 1994 (25) - Who the hell knows whats best option, he is actually way to mental for prediction.

Matteo Darmian
Dec 2, 1989 (29) - For the love of God, sell him already.

Andreas Pereira
Jan 1, 1996 (23) - Not sure, extend?

Timothy Fosu-Mensah
Jan 2, 1998 (21) - Many wont agree but i would extend, for some reason that i cant explain i still believe in him.

Axel Tuanzebe
Nov 14, 1997 (21) - Extend dont mess about it.

Ashley Young
Jul 9, 1985 (33) - If it was up to me, he would be free agent already but you know, capt, leader, 50 games guy, tones of experience of being carried by true winners etc.

Lee Grant
Jan 27, 1983 (36) - Let him go.

Darmian's contract is probably worth extending as I suspect he is paying the club a salary to play for them rather than the other way around

This guy epitomizes our transfer dealings. Juve bid £13 Mill for him & he was willing to move, for some inexplicable reason we don't sell him as we think the fee should be higher, this despite the fact that he's crap & we're not going to play him anyway.

Apart from De Gea and Henderson, I couldn't care less if all of them leave. Actually I want them all gone.

Cue people complaining that “we always sell too cheaply”

Still in disbelief that young will still be here after his showing the last two seasons. If he deserved a contract then so did Valencia.

There are too many who offer little but are happy to pick up their inflated wages. Absolutely no ambition at all. Complete lack of fire in their bellies. Most of them cannot even get a sniff of international football anymore.

Living the dream they are, they get to be incompetent and careless as they like but they still get handsomely paid for many years. I wish I had that kind of job security.

We were offered £13 Mill for Darmian but declined it & went back to Juve asking for £20 Mill. He has rarely played since & will likely leave on a free. A shocking piece of business.

Angel Gomes’ contract expires in December 2020 :nervous: No option for extending.

That needs sorted this summer as a matter of urgency, along with De Gea.

December? All contracts usually expire in June.

Henderson and Gomes need to be kept. Sell Matic and Bailly. De Gea will probably leave for free. The rest can go.

Darmian is a free agent. I recall some Italian club offered something like 3m for him last season and the Club thought WTF and would rather keep him as backup. So he is no longer our problem, Rojo is.

Darmian is still contracted to the club until 2020. He's just not arrived on tour yet due to personal problems.

Darmian, Fosu-Mensah & Grant to leave on frees
Matic, Young and Bailly to be given extensions (albeit I guess at 35 Young may decided as he's not young anymore and just retire)
Hope to feck De Gea and Gomes are sorted out ASAP!!!

I'm actually going to question that Gomes' contract expires next year. I've done some quick Googling and best I can tell when he signed his new deal in December 2017 the club never disclosed it's length. That contract was signed in December 2017 so for it to expire next year it would have only been a 3 and a half year contract? So while not completely impossible for a player of his age I would have expected something along the lines of a 5 year deal with an additional 1 year option

Only place I can see the reference to his contact expiring next summer is on the below
