Seriously starting to worry that we've ballsed up the sale of Marcos Rojo. Never mind £25m I'd take £5m for him.

Darmian and Rojo staying at the club!

So you think players read redcafe prior considering joining us?
I wouldn’t rule that out. Their PR entourage probably does.

Journalists definitely do and they can ride on the populist views here to craft their article along the same vein to generate clicks, which then further perpetuates the confirmation bias and negativity.

We are having trouble moving them on, that is the problem. The clubs able to afford them don't want them, and the ones who would want him won't be able to afford him.
We aren’t helping things by wanting £25m for him. Let him go, get him off the books. Same with the rest.

How are we still going to be stuck with Rojo and Darmian after all this time? Christ, we can’t even properly get rid of players.

7 centerbacks is ridiculous. How the feck do we still have Marcos Rojo and Matteo Darmian still at the club:houllier: Just let them go on a free anywhere, they're so fecking pointless players just eating up wages and bloating the squad.

I have been following football for 40 years, mainly the EPL and the Serie A tbh. I was raised watching Mai Dire Gol, an extremely popular TV show on national TV who literally made fun of players (their misses, their accents, the way they struggle to speak in Italian etc), reminding deadwood what they said when they first signed, ridiculing them and then calling them bidoni (rubbish can) when they left. Meanwhile throughout that time I've witnessed players who were terrified to go out after a derby defeat, LEGENDS in their prime whose finishing skills was at par to RVN, whose talent was questioned after a goal drought of 2 games, players being questioned whether they are still good enough to represent Italy months before winning the ballon d'or, ah, and Ryan Giggs type of players (without the sex scandal) being booed by his own fans in his testimonial game. That's the nice parts btw. For example Aaron Winter had to hide his Jewish origins because being black was already bad enough if you play for Lazio let alone a black guy of Jewish origins. We're talking here about Italy here, one of the safest countries in the world. We all know how Escobar was treated by Colombian fans.

Now trust me on this but the EPL is one of the easiest going leagues for a footballer to be. That's not me saying it but many Serie A players from Ravanelli right to Vialli and Zola. Not only that, but United is possibly the easiest top club in the EPL for a player to be. I mean can you imagine someone like Jones whose been bloodsucking the club dry for 9 years at a club like Real? They would absolutely murder him there. So seriously, if players can't handle comments on Redcafe, whom, btw, is one of the most civilised forums I've ever been in then they shouldn't even be in football in the first place. Hell, they can't handle real life while at it.

Two years later, Woodward will be triggering his 1 year extension clause for not losing him for free.

Did we turn down a 25m bid or demand 25?

Either way terrible

We can still sell both to clubs overseas.... if there’s any buyers
