For feck Sake..!!
Seven CBs, and how much is Rojo per year..?!
How much were our valuations adrift??

Thoroughly pissed off with today's arseing about..
Dunno mate but whatever it is its too much
Look at this
Maguire - Solid
Lindelof - Getting Better
Tuanzebe - Good potential

Then we come to the fun part
Smalling - Best of this bad bunch. Reliable. Not in Ole's plans hardly played in pre-season. Dreadful on the ball
Bailly - Always in a wheelchair - when he plays its like somebody being petrified in Harry Potter
Rojo - I mean wtf
Jones - Getting worse the list isnt it - Mistakes in every game. Always injured

We've literally got a guy earning thousands playing for us who can't even make toast.

Have we got an injury insurance policy on Rojo that massively overvalues him or something? I'd have let him go for nothing.

We aren’t helping things by wanting £25m for him. Let him go, get him off the books. Same with the rest.
Yeah, same. The 25m seems false though. Seems they want him on loan, and we want a permanent deal.

We can still sell the surplus in the European window. But seems we have unrealistic valuation for them. I mean Rojo for 25m? Come on...

I'd have felt better if we've got shot of this guy.
I wouldn't trust him in a league cup game when we are 4-0 up

There are buyers. The problem is covering their wages, and unless the players accept a lower paycheck, no move.
Or we wave the fee. We seem obsessed getting something out of nothing players. I mean why is darmien still here?! I can’t remember the last time he played

I think if we made no additions in January but got rid of the deadwood like Rojo, Bailly, and Darmian, that would be the greatest transfer window since Fergie left.

We had an option to get rid in a loan, surely that is better than paying his wages for yet another season.

Club is fecking clueless. Darmian, Jones and Rojo will be here until they retire at this rate. It just wouldn’t happen at a elite club. We aren’t a elite club anymore, simple as that.

Rojo's minutes in pre-season were clearly to shop-window him.

I just pray someone comes in and buys him, even for 15m.

We need a fecking exorcist to get rid of him and Darmian. It's a joke.

Absolutely clueless from the club, it's no wonder why we were so piss poor in recruitment when the club couldn't see sense in at least letting everton have rojo on loan when there is plenty of cover in defence, will they be so deluded next summer to expect even a 10 million offer for player that will barely play 10 games next season because he is behind bailly, smalling, Jones, tuanzebe and probably even darmian as a central defender?

He is a liability. Either injured (which is a blessing in disguise) or when selected gets booked or sent off or gives away dangerous free kicks or a penalty.
Just release him.

I would've taken £50 and a handy just to get him out of old Trafford. No matter what Everton offered it's better than keeping a player who we don't need, and is a liability. Paying him wages to sit on the bench, I need a job at united.

Under a tree.
I reckon he leaves regardless, permanent or on loan by the 2 September to a European club. Just cant see the logic in having 6 CBs, with him probably being 6th choice.

He was actually one of the most frequent players in pre-season

Not a real surprise. He’s more comfortable with the ball than any of them bar Lindelof and Tuanzebe.

7 centre backs?

My order would be:
  1. Maguire
  2. Lindelof
  3. Smalling
  4. Jones
  5. Tuanzebe
  6. Bailly
  7. Rojo
Shame Bailly is injured, otherwise we should get rid of Rojo and Bailly. Rojo should deffo be first out of the door - needs to be perm, not a loan.

it's time to take what we can get for him and Darmian - if we get 15m for both so be it

It cannot be good for team morale having Hangers on that keep turning up. Knowing they are not wanted and not good enough.

Should of taken the first offer! Even if it’s a loan. 5m each will do

Watching the game
We've wasted so much money on average players but we're too afraid to cut the dead wood and so keep throwing good money after bad by demanding crazy fees for rubbish players. Woodward is awful.

Smalling and Jones up for their testimonial next season too!

I think by buying players and keeping them for so long despite underperforming their value depreciates much more than if we were to move them on faster.

Sadly.

It sets a bad example for the kids, as well.

"Look at Marcos. Has barely played a game in 3 yrs. But they gave him a new, improved contract to reward him for that. Maybe I don't actually need to be a difference maker here at United to earn big bucks and stick around forever....."

I think the Rojo to Everton stuff has an air of the bollocks about it. 2 windows now where we have been in for him during the last 2 days. 2 windows where he stays at United.

And DDG could possibly overtake Schemeichel in appearances this season. What's the point of these tweets?
it's a bit sneery from delaney but they all engage in this

it is ridiculous that such limited players have survived so long

It apparently cost the club around £7.3m per year to keep these 2 on the books...!

Darmian especially should just be given a free transfer, no one is ever going to buy him, if we'd given him a free transfer 2 years ago we'd have already saved £6.3m in salary, I doubt very much we'd recover that in a transfer fee.

Agree with all of this.
