Maybe because his team just lost the cup final 5-0?why was he crying then?

Maybe there was no offers. He had to stay another yearwhy was he crying then?
The power of repeating the same message over and over again to children ardent for some desperate gloryPeople absolutely convinced themselves he was special too. So odd.
Indeed. We needed him and the board didn't do the deal and the vicious cycle continues with not achieving stuff, sacking manager, hiring new manager, build expectations and then destroy them.I don't understand how people are coming to the conclusion he wasn't very good anyway.
He scored 32 goals in all competitions last season from midfield. We scored about 30 goals less than City in the Prem in 18/19. He was exactly what we needed and only 24 years old so a good long term investment.
We could have had Pogba and Fernandes in the middle with McTominay behind them. Sigh, what a anti-climatic way to end the transfer window.
I didn't think he was that good in the first place. He's a #10 that has a good long shot. Not what we need at all.I don't understand how people are coming to the conclusion he wasn't very good anyway.

Brilliant post! Who knows how good Bruno Fernandes would have been or might yet be in a top Premier League team; but one thing that is beyond dispute is that he has been massively over-exposed. Partly by the Portuguese media and partly by his influential fan-boys on YouTube, Fernandes has been subject to perfectly justifiable media interest but a victim of totally unjustifiable media hype. Of course 30 league goals is an impressive tally, but 30 goals in Portugal is not the same as in Italy, Spain or England.Heard a few interviews with Portuguese journos recently who all said that he was a good player in a poor team and whose stats were padded by the fact that his colleagues were always trying to put him in possession when possible so he was getting the best chances to score or assist. He was rated as a starter in a mid table team if he came to PL.
May still move this window to a continental club. Mendes’ agency handling him now so I’d make someone like Monaco favourite for a “mates rates” fee.I’ve wasted so much time expecting this lad to join. I would love to find out the truth behind it all some time soon. Imagine all the time we have all wasted if we never even contemplated a bid for him!?
Why would Monaco get a discount fee?May still move this window to a continental club. Mendes’ agency handling him now so I’d make someone like Monaco favourite for a “mates rates” fee.
They’re loaded with Mendes clients. Why would Monaco get a discount fee?
Di Marzio's agency needed the clicks, re-tweets and views.Di Fraudio exposed.
When we are floundering later this season, I will remind you of your statement and ask you if we have done well, or not.But then again, I don't understand our fans frustrations at the window. We've done well. Not brilliant, but definitely above satisfactory.
Good case study for the benefits of getting business done early.I think that's it in a nutshell.
Bruno was mentioned as far back as March, and we know that he was scouted extensively.
I just think that United thought that they could get him on the cheap, mistakenly thinking his release clause was £35m, and perhaps Joao Felix being transferred for more than £100m has made Sporting determined to get a much higher valuation for their player.
Tielemens went to Leicester for 35m.... Let that sink in.... If we couldn't afford Bruno, I'm sure Tielemens was more than available and he was hoping to join us.I’m not sure most posters genuinely wanted him, we were all just crying out for at least one midfield signing to replace Herrera and Fellaini. The two main names being linked to us throughout the window were Fernandes and Longstaff. I think Longstaff is definitely on the shortlist as a Matic replacement.
Perhaps the staff really see something in Fred that we don’t. They do see him in training everyday after all but personally I’m not convinced. Too inconsistent with the basics of a midfielder. Oh well!
To be fair to Shinji, he was settling in somewhat near the end of SAF's reign, think he would have made it if SAF had stayed. Everyone basically lost any ability to play football under Moyes bar Januzaj. An attacking midfielder with lots of goals and assists who didn't repeat it for United. Now where have I heard that one before?
Transfer

I was seriously muppeting for Tielemens. Honestly, forgot about the link to Tielemens before he went to LCFC. And they signed two midfielders. TWO!Tielemens went to Leicester for 35m.... Let that sink in.... If we couldn't afford Bruno, I'm sure Tielemens was more than available and he was hoping to join us.
Never change the title
United weren't in for him for whatever reason, I believe that is clear. He enjoyed his loan at Leicester, was guaranteed playing time and felt comfortable with Rodgers. Fine. Nothing to get your panties in a bunch.Tielemens went to Leicester for 35m.... Let that sink in.... If we couldn't afford Bruno, I'm sure Tielemens was more than available and he was hoping to join us.
How come?Love it, won £370
