At times i wonder why it's so fecking difficult to grasp the issues at hand. The problem isn't that we're useless at selling players, the problem is that the players we want to get rid of are on fat wages compared to what they'd fetch in other countries. Swapping jobs for less money isn't a great scenario for anyone
Who gave him the fat wages to begin with? We bought him off Torino ffs, not Barca or PSG. He was probably making 300k a year in Italy. When we signed for us, we probably 10x or 20x'd his salary. So stupid.

I don't understand Juve's plan here. Just yesterday Sarri came out and said he might have to leave Dybala out of the champions league squad because they don't have enough players to satisfy the homegrown rule.

All this "He can't officially talk to them until January" stuff is bollocks and you all know it.. All clubs and players do it including ours.

I bet Maguires wages were sorted weeks ago despite no fee agreed.. I also bet we have even spoken to Sancho and his reps about potential earnings here and many other potential signings will be spoke to off the cuff, it is how it goes.

Likely next summer a few others would leave and a few others would come in

Stink the place up and agitate for a move (Lukaku) = disrespectful etc...
Keep your head down (Darmain) = What a waste, zero ambition...

We should really be thinking long term for our transfers and line up our Jan / May transfers for Coutinho / Eriksen now. Pereira was decent yesterday but it looks like we'll play a midfield two of Pogba, McTominay and Mata / Pereira as attacking mid. Both are useful squad players but a proper #10 will cement top four and put us in title contention. Coutinho was really good for Pool when he played a hybrid CM / AM and could be perfect for Ole's system.

This is just ridiculous and unfair to the other clubs. All these key players are running their contracts down so that they can join Juventus. How are they paying the salaries of all these players?

Wissam Ben Yedder to undergo a medical with AS Monaco tomorrow - €40m release clause activated, but Sevilla are also negotiating the arrival of Rony Lopes as a seperate deal. (RMC)

We can be given permission to discuss with a player without having agreed a fee with the club. Something similar happened when RVP left us.
I genuinely believe we're one of the better 'top' clubs regarding this practice. This seems to be common among Italian & Spanish teams but not so much among British clubs.

Players could be informed of another team's interest via their agent. However, actually discussing contracts with the player would be highly risky.

It wasn't that long ago that British players couldn't get a game abroad. Now they seem to be all the rage, which is great to see. Wonder how long the trend will continue and how long it will take for British managers to follow suit.

Very advanced talks between Atlético and Rodrigo.
The player agrees to play at Atlético.
It could be closed over 60m€

Why didn't United just cancel his contract or let him go on loan with commitment to buy?
Ed extended his contract so he couldn't sign for Juve for free this summer.

Darmian would have to agree to that and it would cost him money.
See above - he would have been a free agent by now. We extended.

Christ how much long is Darmian contracted to us?
Til next summer. We activated the additional year. Pennywise pound foolish.
