His brother is just saying that Paul wants to win the Champions League and that's his goal. He likely wanted to leave only because of no longer believing in the project. If United make a step forward and then buy someone like Sancho, Pogba could very well change his mind. The guy wants to win trophies. It's similar to RVP and Arsenal. Eventually he got to a point where he lost trust that Arsenal wouldn't do what it took to win trophies and he thought United were that club. United have to show ambition and show improvement.

If his Aunty had balls she'd be his uncle.
More press tripe.

He's not getting sold this summer. Thats the end of it until next summer.

It would be madness to sell him now but I still think there's a small chance.

Anyone else noticed that he doesn't feature in the title credits for MUTV's Match in 20?
Itwould be total Insanity to sell him now. I was for getting rid of him but we just can't now. We are too light in midfield as it is.

Dont have MUTV but wouldn't be concerned with those little details.

I think he'll go next summer. Only thing that may bring a change of mind is him having a belter of a season and us gettin CL football

Selling him now would mean we don't get top 4 which could ruin our chances at getting Sancho. It would be a huge blunder. There is no positive to selling him now.

Its simple to understand: Real Madrid doesn't have 200 million euros to spend on Pogba so his camp are trying to lower the fee, putting 'pressure' on etc.

It doesn't matter. United will not sell this summer. If Paul wants to leave United now he'll have to do a Lukaku and go on strike, which I doubt he will because Paul is a professional despite the circus around him.

Did anyone really think he's changed his mind and wants to stay?

As of now no but we could change his mind. I hope we show clear signs that we're going back on top very soon, or else he's definitely fecking off next summer. All I ask from him is to be professional and give his all in every game.

As from now I think everybody besides Paul will talk... but Paul will be professional until the end.

I think he's willing to accept to stay 1 more season, but regardless of the results I think he will make a harder push the next summer.

It would take an amazing season to change his mind. For example, a struggling top 4 place and no trophy will not do the job IMHO.

Wouldn't read too much into that, he's on the promo stuff for the new third kit for example.

If we have a good season, get top 4 or run Liverpool/City close and perhaps win a cup - have a positive forward motion and sign some good players this summer, he might think twice.

Lets hope Zidane's time at Madrid goes BADLY.

All the noise from Pogba says he wants to WIN. He's clearly capable of being involved in the top end of the CL, he's won the world cup and plenty of league titles, so he wants european glory too. If we can't offer that then he will probably move on.

I'm now completely comfortable that he's staying, Madrid clearly don't have the cash and he seems to be knuckling down and resigned to being here this season. Which is great because we severely lack creativity without him. Losing him this season would have been us finishing 8th or similar, now we have a chance to push for top 4 if he doesnt down tools and keeps putting some effort in.

Next summer, Madrid will come in hard and we'll sell for the right price. We have 12months to scout properly for a replacement, anyone think we will be doing that? I suspect not. We'll probably start scouting for his replacement two days before his sale is official. And end up with someone like SMS for £140m.

Why, what will be different next year?

In theory at least, when Pogba is sold for£150m, added to the Lukaku money £75m, plus our usual budget, that should give Ole a transfer kitty of around £300M to spend next Summer...!!

It really is tiresome but not once have I heard Pogba come out and say his brothers or his agents comments do not reflect his thinking so I believe he is behind it most of the time.

The difference between Pogba and Lukaku is that we wanted rid of Lukaku. I’m sure we’d rather keep Pogba.

As for Poggers being “professional”... if he told his agent and brother to stfu, I’d maybe swallow him being professional. As it is, he’s just happy for others to keep it all going, whilst he remains “professional”. Can’t believe how this gets tolerated. Just put in a transfer request if you want to go and get those fecking cnuts in Madrid to pony up or try actually being “professional”. End.

Well, seing it's Pogba's brother making these comments (time and time again) it does make it seem like Paul agrees with what is being said, no? If he disagreed he would tell his idiot brother to shut it. The only reason he's ever in the limelight is when he's talking about his brother.

I think that’s what they were saying about back in the day, the keane’s And scholes of the past would kick him all over the pitch for being a bitch.

Unfortunately we don’t have those type of players or attitude anymore - unless the new boys are up for it

There's plenty of challenge at United. The English League is the most competitive or one of them. I think if we move in the right direction it will encourage him. After last season, I don't think it's a surprise the rumors. At some point we'll look to renew his contract but it's really about seeing where we are at the end of the season. If we're successful then we've something to build on if the club show the right ambitions

Seems he was imitating Phil Jones :lol:
This is really nice to see. Whether he stays after this season, or leaves, the atmosphere is clearly much better around the club these days.

Paul is giving us one more season to become the club he thought he was returning to, now it's Ole's turn to deliver and get this project working. I hoped we would sign his mate Dybala and get PP commited to a new contract but now it's obvious it all depends on club's standing once the season is over. Top 4 finish, attractive football, world class players once again interested in coming here? I honestly believe PP would turn Real Madrid down and commit to us long-term in such case, accept the captain's armband too.

We will win the league this year. Just keep winning and we will see.
Its just weird when posters say one more year. Its like a stock answer to signing young players or a saga

Oh i think he should stay one more year and develop etc. Why?
Anyway, Madrid's board have long been rumoured not to fancy Pogba and its twice now they've refused to pony up and sign him. Why would they suddenly meet our price next year?
Fans are going to be shocked at how bad Madrid are this year, no way they'll pay our price with the amount of work that's needed next summer.
The next crop of so called stars at Madrid are going to be crucified simply because they're not competing for the CL every year.

His brother has never shut up in his life, that's why journalist ask him questions about everything wherever he is. And it's not just about his brother.

We all knew that Jose was a bit of a knob though right.

The issue is clubs tend to swing from 1 extreme to the other. Jose was a knob with a record of winning pots. We have swung to OGS who is a decent guy but....

To give you an impression of the what the Chiringuito is, it's like the Daily Sport of television programmes wearing a Real Madrid shirt. The arrogance of the presenters is sickening. Imagine Tim Lovejoy in a house of mirrors with compliments constantly firing his way through the P.A. system.

I'd be more worried if Babestation reported that Pogba could still leave.

I believe paul will stay this season and if we cam show by the end of the season we are winning trophys or ready to compete for the big european prizes again then he may well be happy to stay longer. We do need to buy a few to make the team even stronger and show our ambition.
If there was a chance of him leaving we would have got replacements in. However, that logic didn't apply to herrera or big rom so i do worry slightly.

There you have it

I'm willing to bet there's a good chance Zidane won't even last until next summer window so a move in the future is hardly nailed on as much as his agent and many if our supporters want it to be

“Must respect this” my arse. Is that why he’s been tapping him up the past 12 months? More like he’s been slapped down by his boss.

I'm confident he'll stay this season. No way we would be willing to lose him when our midfield options are so short.

He'll probably move next summer though. I hope we take our time and find a suitable replacement. But knowing Woodward, that's not gonna happen. One can always hope.
