I can't see anyone wanting Pogba, anyone who can turn on and off his efforts on the pitch are not worth their salt. If he can do it here he can do it elsewhere.
If he starts to have his tantrums, lazy display for MU then he should not be allowed in the first team or any team at all at manchester.
I'm sick to the back teeth with his childish, immature attitude. Either play or do one.

What about the quotes regarding real Madrid, the guy isn't daft. Why simply congratulate your brother when you can post a conversation your brother had about you potentially moving to Madrid hint hint wink wink. Pah I'm sick of it and there sympathisers

...really?

He's one of the World's best midfielders - he'll move to an Elite club when he does leave.

Why are people kicking up a fuss? He's not going to leave right now. For all we know Zidane gets sacked in 2 months.
There's always a new story du-jour for the outrage brigade to rage over and cling onto when it comes to Pogba.

It's gonna be quite a long season for them hate watching the team this season with how influential he is to our success

feck me we have some precious souls on here. I've just looked at the story - it's a picture of his brother being interviewed. He's promoting the fact his brother was in the press from what I see. Really not that much of an issue. What's he supposed to say - my brother's an attention seeking spanner?
I think precious is way too kind. Pogba is on a massive WUM, he knows he is staying but also knows he can annoy insecure souls with stuff like this. Personally I'm loving it, people losing their shit over nothing. He's staying this season, feck knows what happens next.

Madrid spent about 300m this summer. They had the entire summer before starting spending money on Hazard and so to bid a good price for Pogba but they didn't. I don't see anything that suggest they think he's value for money at that price tag. More logically they'll wait till his price drop when he gets nearer to his contract end and get him, like what they did with Hazard.
They also anticiaped James and Bale to move, to free some money and make a more serious bid for Pogba. Neither of those things have happened before the PL transfer window closed.
Just like Barca have been trying for a way to finance Neymar to come back, they signed other players before him, they had the entire year (Neymar to Barca bs started well before they signed De Jong) to do so but sometimes, some transfers are more complicated so you get other things done first as a reassurance.

The thing is though, there have been numerous and consistent reports from Spain (from usually reliable sources: Marca, AS) that the Real hierarchy don't actually rate him that highly and have been trying to convince ZZ to go for Eriksen/VdB. This, allied with that insulting bid last week, tells me that Real are simply going through the motions with it to placate ZZ almost as if to say, "look, we tried".

If they haven't got the money for Pogba, why are they then, going for the even more expensive Neymar straight after?

If they truly wanted him, he'd have been there already IMO.

The might be going for Neymar but various media outlet report it will never be player for cash because they cannot do that financially but cash + player(s) for Neymar. It is a proof that they cannot afford Pogba with money only, I don't know what is. Zidane isn't stupid, he would easily know if they put up a genuine attempt to get the player or if they tried to play him anyway.

Not captain, not pk taker. As i see it, only matter of time when he will leave. I don't believe that he will keave this summer but in january maybe. Next summer 100%.
I guarantee you that by Jan, if we don’t mess up, Real are going to look really bad and it will change his mind forever.

It's astonishing how much of a free pass he gets from some of our fans and Ole.

We have rightly frozen out the likes of Lukaku and Sanchez for talking shite in the press or consistently showing a lack of effort.

It speaks volumes of Pogba's talent that Ole is willing to overlook this poisonous situation to keep him.

Every time you think he's turned a corner either his fat feck agent or his dim-witted brother comes out with this kind of crap (or, almost as often, Pogba himself...)

I can actually see Pogba being the cause of Ole's eventual downfall. What he is trying to build here only works if you have 100% buy in from the whole squad, Pogba is the chink in the armour.

I have been following united and visiting this site and many other fan based media channels long enough to form an opinion on the subject.

I rate pogba very highly and would like to see him stay for years to come, what I don't like is players taking opportunity's to create negative press for the club. Especially given the amount we have had to endure over past 6 years.

He is our midfield. Only true class there and without him our midfield is midtable quality. So that is why he has this much credit.

Do you have any evidence for any of this? For all we know, it's just his irrelevant brother and his fat leech of an agent trying to steal media spotlight. Paul shouldn't be judged by their behaviour, but his own - and he's been nothing but a 100%, focused, disciplined professional ever since the preseason. Even delivered two Pirlo/Zidane/Ronaldinho level assists in first match of the season, MotM.

And yet... his haters will always fabricate some nonsense to whine about.
I want Pogba to stay and be successfull here. But I really don't get comments like this. How could you ever think his brother or agent will come out with comments like this and Paul doesn't know and isn't fine with it? Sure they might have their own agenda as they profit quite well from Paul but I cant imagine they dont have his "ok". Imo its a ploy to put pressure on the club without making his own hands dirty and so he can always back out saying it wasnt me making these comments.

Real got to come with £150+ to sign Pogba this window. There is no way its happening. Why the papers insist on pushing the narrative.

It's boring now.

If Real Madrid don't end up signing him and maybe Jose becomes their manager again then I can think of only two clubs where he might end up and that's Juve and PSG. I don't think he has the right profile for Barca or Bayern Munich (i'd be very surprised if Barca were ever interested) and I doubt we'd sell to an English club.

Still think there's a chance he'll be gone next Summer though.

Yet to see it from him in a team that’s not filled with world beaters. I’d look decent in the same midfield as Pirlo.

Pogba wouldn’t make the midfield of a world XI.

Real don't have the money to sign him this summer. If they did, they would have already done it. Nothing to see here.

He won’t be sold this summer. Zidane will be sacked by Christmas and Real will be even shitter than us by this time next year. This Real thing will be over soon.

Anyway, said about a month ago, but I expect him to sign a new contract this season anyway.

And that’s the real issue here. There are a handful of players who I can think of off the top of my head, who’d I select ahead of Pogba in midfield and yet consider less talented & physically equipped than Pogba. Yes, Pogba can’t be expected to do everything in a mediocre side. But his concentration and decision making is too often sub standard. For example, he often over complicate things and he should be using his physical attributes in defense far more effectively. A player with Pogba’s potential should be walking in a World XI.

Apart from scoring a lot of penalties last season it was a very average season for a very expensive and very well payed player.

No it wasn't. Take away the pens and he was still a great creative midfielder. Can't remember the exact stats, but they were practically equivalent to Eriksen and one City midfielder. Unless the very marginal difference between those 3 players is average in which case I question why the big clubs haven't snapped up those above average midfielders that aren't playing for the top 6.

Ive rewatched the chelsea game for the 5th time and ive got to say I keep getting irritated how many times pogba lost the ball. I might be wrong but it might be a record amount of times he was dispossessed this game. Even worse than his first season performance against liverpool. I really dont mind getting rid of him next season because it feels like he's already gone and we will only see more of the same sloppiness he had against chelsea. If we continue to play him deep he has to limit the amount of touches he takes. At his age he should understand that he can't dribble so deep in midfield.

I'm no longer taking excuses about him providing 2 assists if he continues have inconsistent performances during the game. Its so frustrating to watch him as a leader making silly mistakes that could be avoided.

If he wants to go then let him go. But make Madrid bend over first.

If Zidane gets sacked and he changes his mind then make him go anyway.

United need to send a clear messsge to clubs, agents and players that they will no longer take it rearwards every time.

If Pogba has to be the 150m sacrificial lamb then so be it.

After that the owners need sorting.....

You're living in dream's land. When push came to shove, Woodward chose Pogba over Mourinho, a serial winner.
There's no way he'd let Pogba go, nevermind in a "sacrificial lamb" manner.

This.

By the year's end especially and if we can get rid of Sanchez, we will make Pogba the highest-paid player in the club, whether I agree with it or not. It will make him out of reach of any club for the foreseeable future.

We'll just kick this can down the proverbial road for now.

You are dead right sadly, which is why pants continue to be pulled down.

Dream land? Perhaps, or maybe I just have a different set of values to yourself.

See I can be insulting. I’m just more subtle at it than you.

You don't have to worry about that because he doesn't give away the ball that much usually. By his standards he was bad in that department.

What a silly situation. His brother who is a nobody in footballing world gives an interview for some obscure channel which is a Madrid mouthpiece just to stirr some shit. It's a bad situation, we depend on a player who wants out instead of buying some midfielders.
In any case selling him at this point would be beyond daft.

I cannot wrap my head around this. This is not the first time his brother (s) stir the pot, how he is allowed to constantly talk about a player is disrespectful to the club that pays his salary. I guess if you are a useless footballer like his brothers are you able to get away with making such comments.
