Fair play to you’s. Love watching that Kerry team play and best of luck in the final. In fairness Deegan rode Tyrone a brave bit but you’s were the better team. Shocking low attendance for a Semi Final.
Terible. whats the solution?

It cant be as simple as lowering ticket prices. I dont think the Super 8s works so well. it actually might be a case of there is too much footabll now. they would be best reverting to the AI Qualifiers only and ditching the super 8s.

I think they need to go to a world cup format based on seeding from the league and run it over a a month or possibly two.

Prices definitely need to come down, Tyrone fans especially have had serious days out this year. All adds up.

Less games in croker, it's not a special day out anymore, lower the ticket prices, if it is in croker and like it was 3 weeks ago have a double header instead of expecting fans to travel up and stay to get the 2 matches.

Hopefully the football is a bit closer than the hurling! Limerick definitely would have gave Tipp some game in the final, Kilkenny won’t be too disappointed as not too many would have backed them to reach the final.

Im not sure Kerry will get near Dublin.

I hope for the competition its a nail biter but im thinking Dublin will be too strong. Game could be over before it gets going.

Think these Kerry bucks still a year or two away yet. Seriously need to tighten up at the back, look what Tyrone did with one good forward, Dublin have far more firepower. Although think Clifford, Geaney and co will embarrass that Dublin full back line if given enough supply of ball.

They are a quality trio. Just think Dublin will be too strong all over the field.

Yeah you’re right. Just hope Kerry can get some decent ball into those lads and make a good game of it at least. But Dublin are scarily good, Fenton, C O’C, Mannion and McCaffrey are going to eventually retire as some of the best ever to play the game.

And if it was close with 10 to go, imagine playing for Kerry and facing a fresh Connolly coming off the bench.. scary thought.

I don’t think we have much of a chance but sure look. Have to be in it to win it and we’ve had a very good year all else being equal-should have won the league but what can you do. Second best team in the country and on the rise.

That Dublin team are something else-I think Moran plays better against Fenton than most people do but still, what a player Brian has become. Mannion is unplayable at times at right corner forward but in the first half against Mayo with his stronger foot on his outside they dealt with him better. So hopefully he plays on the left!

The last 3 times we played them, 2013 was a mad shoot out and while disappointing it was hard to have too many complaints, their bench was just stronger on the day. Still think if Declan’s point goes over instead of drifting wide, and the second Dublin goal looked like a mishit point as much as an attempt on goal  ...who knows but that’s football. No complaints from that day as we died on our shield. Closest 7 point loss I can remember!

2015, wasn’t our day, Dublin were poor but Kerry dreadful. We never got going. Frustrating as we had looked very professional against Tyrone in the semi whereas Dublin were very vulnerable in the drawn game with mayo, but we were limp in the final. The dropped ball right at the end summed it all up.

2016 we were robbed. Well and truly. Never felt so angry after a match in my life. David Gough can feck off.

Actually thinking back, the 2011 final gave cause for grievance too, I went back and counted 11 steps by McManamon before his goal.

Just hope we give them a rattle, play good football and if it’s close we can blame it on that prick David Gough  And you never know...

Hoping its a good competitive All Ireland football final tomorrow but i fear it will be a one side contest that Dublin will have won by half time. To be fair to the Dubs they are outstanding team. Meant to be amateur team but are so well run on and off the field so fit and well organized. Come to think of it they are more professional in their approach than Man United are who are pretty much amateur in everything they do nowadays.

I got a ticket in the end. They were extremely difficult to get this year.

I hope for a match befitting of the occasion and I think we'll get it.
Kerry can score and they make chances so im not envisaging a cake walk for Dublin.

I do think Dublin will win. They know how to close out games and the experienced players have done this before.

My prediction is

Dublin to win by 4 points.

2-15 to 1-14

Kerry fecked themselves there. Too many poor wides. Playing for a point win with an extra man instead of pushing for the killer score. About half the 7 minutes were wasted by stoppages but the GAA loves a Dublin replay. Anyway Dublin going to absolutely ruin them in the replay. Only hope for Kerry is if Clifford can turn it on next time.

FFS missed opportunity.

That penalty not being retaken will piss me off for a while

Good minor final where Galway threw it away in normal time. Should be no extra time for U17s and all the more daft later when the senior final went to a replay without extra time.

Kerry had a great chance to win that final today, Playing with the extra man certainly helped and got their goal at a key stage in the game yet still they needed Rock to missed that late free to hang on for a replay.

Replay fixed for 14th at 6pm. I'll be Old Trafford until 5pm watching hopefully United beating Leicester. Any pub nearby that will be showing the All Ireland final does anyone know?

What am I missing here, surely it was a point by Dermo?
