Is there Any chance as an Alkmaar fan buying tickets for the MU-AZ game directly from the MU website?

Hi all, just a quick question -

I recently moved to Congleton, and I am planning on a good 5 or 6 visits to OT this season (already failed in the Arsenal ballot!). I work every other weekend so I am limited to when I can go, but happy to get to some night matches, especially Europa League.

My issue is this - I don't drive, I only ride a 125 bike so it's an hour there and hour back, possibly more with the traffic, and coming back on those dark A roads doesn't appeal to me, the last train would mean leaving the match 15 minutes earlier at least which again is not what I want to do, so does anyone know where to find any info on car pools, or anyone that runs a coach that passes through here? You'd think they'd put later trains on for this kind of thing but nope. Proving a bit of a pain just to get to a match!

Thanks in advance
Have you considered the later trains to Macclesfield or Crewe and then maybe local bus or taxi from there to Congleton.
Wouldn't have to leave match early.

Wouldn't see the point, think united will offer AZ as many as they need since the stadium unlikely to be full

Does anyone know allocation for Belgrade?
Does anyone have a guess how big the interest for the Partizan Away Tickets will be?
How are the odds on getting a ticket with zero credits?
I think the stadium is 32k in which case we should getc1600 plus 200 VIP

Last year you could have got both Young Boys (hundreds empty) and Valencia with zero credits, if not in first ballot, on returns so fair chance you will get if you stay in for lates

When we played Feyenoord the other year they sold out their away allocation.

Utd cancelled any transactions from Holland who bought tickets in home end.

Funnily enough same thing happened to me a few years ago when I bought tickets in Real Madrid home end. Difference being Madrid moved all ticket buyers from UK and put us in basically a 2nd away end. :D

Can't see Utd doing that should AZ sell out their away allocation.

How many do you have, remember 5% random for 0-5 credits so it's a lottery but worth trying
No TCS helps people on a good number of credits, still.no 100% confirmed allocation but if 750 plus 200, hoping I get in the second ballot with 9 credits, done all aways last 2 seasons but only Stockholm final in 2017.

Thinking could get on last minutes list if i need to, already booked flights for Amsterdam and Belgrade
Don't think Stockholm counted towards credits.

Just had an email saying they won't be opening East Tier 2 for the Europa game vs Astana (assuming it is vs Astana, the email doesn't even say who it is against, typical United TO!), which means my seat will be moved and a paper ticket sent out. Seems to be cutting it fine since there is only 4 postage days before the game?

Anyone else in East Upper getting sick of being moved all the time? Me and my brother always get split up whenever there is a Cup game, even though we are linked on the network. Looks like I'll be ringing them up for the 3rd time this week. Our ticketing system is archaic.

If you and your brother fancy standing and being vocal, you should get yourself in with the Red Army group who are having what is usually the away end. At least then, you and your brother can definitely stay together and you'll have a decent atmosphere around you...

Cheers for the heads up. We decided to go in the original singing section before and it was shite to be honest. Although that was that dreadful game against Sheffield United under LVG. First shot on target in the 87th minute or something wasn't it? Unsure if I'm going to the Astana game anyway, just a blag getting the seats moved together so I can either go myself or pass them on.

The new singing section has been in great form so far this season.

Tempted to get involved myself.

Fair play, might give it a go then. I haven't been this season yet due to having a 5-week old baby. Trying to convince the Mrs to let me go Saturday  :(

My mate and I were successful in the ballot for Newcastle but don’t think we can make it. Looking to swap the pair for a pair for West Ham.

Any takers? Please DM if so

Do we know if this is going ahead today?
We have been allocated 750 standard tickets and 5 wheelchair positions for the game which are priced at £36. The ballot for the game is now complete and the match is sold out.
All supporters who applied with 8 credits or more have been successful unless they applied with a supporter with fewer credits, and 1 supporter with 7 credits has also been successful.

Where is the new singing section? Has it been moved nearer the stretford end?

I’ve not been this year yet due to work. But I always try to get close to singing section if I can!

Hi all I will be going to the Alkmaar away game in a few weeks. Have flights and accommodation paid for, do you think I will pick up a ticket over there.

I'm not a member long enough to get a ticket.

I very much doubt you will get a spare United End ticket with the meagre allocation but you might get something in the home end seeing as they are not playing at their home ground.

Has the move to a different stadium for the Alkmaar game been confirmed?

Yes definitely Den Haag and you have virtually no chance of getting a ticket from the United allocation because we needed minimum of 8 credits (picked up tickets and attended at least 8 previous European matches abroad) and then we have to go to a collection point on the day and show matching passports to collect. Guessing some Alkmaar ones may get sold on the day at vastly inflated prices, probably quite a lot are travelling without tickets.
