This formation would fix a lot of problems. I see Rashford more as a SS a la Yorke, the guy needs space to operate. With a CF in front of him, he might get it.

Pogba on the left, Dalot as a WB(which I think is his natural position). Lindelof to push into the DM role when we are attacking.

This formation makes too much sense, this is why I don't think we will see it implemented
I absolutely hate a 5-3-2 formation. You can call it a 3-5-2 all you want, but those "wing backs" are full backs. It's too defensive. If we want to play with 2 strikers then go with a 4-4-2. Problem is, Pogba can't play that formation without Kante doing the dirty work for him...

It's important he doesn't overthink it at the moment. He needs to just have fun on the football field. For now, he's absolutely our form player and needs to play out on the left. While the likes of Martial, Pogba, Maguire should try and look for him at every possible opportunity. Even if this is a purple patch, let's maximize it! When the form eventually drops, we'll have other players who will hopefully be in form and can replace him and/or take goal scoring burden away from him.

James at wing back when he's been one of our biggest goal threats, and Gomes pushed into the side despite never playing. AWB in a position he's never played in as well.

Makes sense?

Great shooting technique, he doesn't move the leg much but it's strong and has a nice curve.

And Kanté can’t play it without Pogba doing all the creative work for him.

Which is repeatedly forgotten on here when the fingers are pointed because Pogba ‘left his partner to cover for him’ or whatever, never mentioning that he’s the only midfielder able to pass the ball forward too.

Has anyone seen Evra presentation speech to James for the player of the month award? So heartwarming x

Was he always that good in his shooting? I don't remember anyone talking about that ability. Great power and precision. Not afraid to use his weaker foot when crossing either.

Our Robben.
or our Kanchelskis. Kanchelskis was probably one of the most limited players in terms of technique but he was so lightning quick it was impossible to stop him. He just kicked the ball past the player and ran - everyone knew what was coming but one on one - no one could stop him.

I wasn't comparing the style, I remember that quote was used to describe Robben.

Hopefully he will be out Kanchelskis though

Hes so much fun to watch. He has a go, takes on a man, and even if it doesnt work out, he keeps going. And he works hard off the ball too.

But so much better on the left than the right.

One of our best players today, but I think he is much better on the left.

I had a good chuckle when he wiped out Maddison towards the end, before getting a bit worried seeing him limp after. His energy and eagerness are really endearing qualities.

Good game. If Martial/Rashford start to take good positions and gamblea in the 6 yard box, James will provide a few assists I think

Agree. Such an exciting player to watch when he is on the ball and running at the defenders. One of those players that is an absolute nightmare to play against.

He's quite the talent. I knew he'd be handy this season, but he's turning out to be far more dangerous than I thought he'd be.

Our best attacking player to watch. Causes defenders to panic when he runs at them.

Stuck to his defensive task really well, the way we played he didn't get a lot of chance to do much in attack.

We all love United
3 yellow cards already. First two were for apparent dives which were absolutely ridiculous and the third was a foul yesterday

A front 3 of Rashford,Martial and Sancho with Greenwood, James and Chong/Lingard to come on our forward line wouldn't peak until 2023 but it would be worth it if they all reach their potential.
