3 games a week schedule stats from this week. Hopefully plenty of youngsters will get chances in the cup games, ideal fixtures. Weaker team at home.

I’ll go for

Loss

I just always fancy United to beat Arsenal at home no matter what the form guide/league table says. Can’t remember the last time they beat us at OT in the league ... 06/07 maybe???

Yep, September 2006 where we lost 1-0 thanks to an 86th minute winner by Adebayor. Since then we've won 8 and drawn 4. However 3 of those draws have come in the last 5 seasons.

Will have us on 7 points from 21. Laugh or cry situation for sure.

But we will be up and running in the cups.

We got lucky with those cup draws. Hopefully we can use them to build some confidence. Couple of tougher draws and the pressure going into the Arsenal game would have been huge.

Winnable, all of them. As were the August fixtures... I just hope for a bit more luck because this young team needs to build some confidence and find its leaders through some good results on the pitch. Especially Leicester and Arsenal at home are important games for places 3-6, can't afford to pick less than 3-4 points from these. It would also be nice to start with a three-pointer in Europe since the Europa League may prove to be our best, or even worse our only shot at CL qualification. I think it's a blessing that we have these three games at OT at this point in the season. And i don't want to start thinking about the mountain we'll have to climb if we go on to replicate our August form.

All kind fixtures imo, all probably top 8 teams come the end of the season but Leicester, west ham and arsenal will allow our team space to attack like Chelsea did, if we cant get some success with these 3 games then where will we get success considering most other teams will set up like wolves and crystal palace and be compact.

Personally I think we are winning all of those. Only one I’d be slightly less sure on is Leicester.

I feel like it might get a bit worse before it gets better in the Premier League as I think Leicester and West Ham are looking in good nick. We might do a bit better than one point if we can 'click' sooner. I do feel as though our results have been unfortunate for the most-part as most of the time we would probably have come away with 12 points, so we might not be as far off as some people think. Cutting out defensive mistakes, being more clinical in front of goal and killing games off are all things we need to work on, but we're close. However, if we don't suddenly start doing this against Leicester & West Ham then we will not win either game (these two teams are better than the ones we've faced so far bar Chelsea). The injuries to Martial and Shaw were particularly unfortunate, but going into the season with this squad it was to be expected. As soon as we miss one or two guaranteed first XI players we look rather weak. If Pogba is missing or Maguire (especially with Smalling out on loan) I think it'd be even worse, so we have to hope we're luckier with injuries than we have been in the past.

So we'll draw and lose our way through them

I just cannot see where the next win will come from.
You'd think we'd be able to beat astana and rochdale at home, but with this team you never really know do you!

Im just waiting for the team to click, cause only a novice wouldnt be able to see the improvements in certain aspects of our games that have been improved. Our mentality has switched from sitting deep to pressing, and their are various examples of how long this adjustment can take, just look at liverpool 2 seasons ago.

Expecting the kids to get their chance, and fully expect Gomes and Greenwood to take their chance

Out of top 10 by the end of September. At least I'm setting my expectations low!

4 games out of 5 at home, when we’re shit away. If we weren’t nearly as bad at home, I’d be pretty confident.

Love to say we'd win most of these... but I wouldn't be surprised if there were only two wins (three would seem to be more likely)
