Matic and Mata must be subbed off at half time already, for Fred and Gomes/Greenwood.

With this sort of game style we will win most of our home games but i don't see how we will win away. Especially now when other manager read our game.

Hope Ole doesn't wait too long to make changes.

Hate 1 nil leads with us. Wish we could get a second from somewhere

Can't blame our 200k/wk striker. He's just a kid. We should give him another 2 years before we can judge him.

I hope for once Ole is proactive with the subs. Doubt it though

Too much of a reliance on penalties and for James to score a quality goal, at the moment. That is 4 penalties in 5 matches now, but that is not going to continue.

We very rarely create good chances; I don't remember a single one in this match.

McTominay gives the ball away far too much; too many under and over-hit balls, too slow making up his mind, and too much fouling. Completely devoid of creativity.

    Pereira is a nothing player.

Mata - We lost our chance to make use of him at his best, so I don't know why we are trying now; it is too late.

We need to control the game like we did in the first 20 minutes. I think us having no one suitable on the right is massively hindering any attack we build. Leicester know to cover James and theyl be OK.

Anyone over Pereira would do on the right. He's not suited to that area of the pitch whatsoever.
Couldn't agree more, Periera has been totally ineffective yet again. Greenwood needs to replace him asap (he should have started in truth).

I'd be happy to let Leicester push forward with the ball, though, as James, Rashford and Greenwood between them will make them pay.

Another perfect chance to start Greenwood or Gomes and Solskjaer has bottled it.

I'm not seeing any improvement in our attacking play at all. We are as limp up front as an old mans cock!

Hasnt been too bad, look comfortable but both teams more or less cancelling each other out from playing, which isnt bad considering we're missing both Pogba and Martial. Mctominay has been very good, Rashford been good, Young, Wan Bissaka and Maguire have all been very good. James a bit isolated but good pieces of play, Mata and Pereira nothing really, matic I don't think has been too bad tbh. Lindelof weak.

Would expect a big response from them in the 2nd as it's been far too easy for us.

Our passing ability is so shockingly poor, creating anything is a distant dream. Players lack understanding and not running into space or creating them. What you get is a stodgy, laboured and unimaginative borefest of football.

One of our players hopefully. I don't have any faith in divine intervention

    Horrible. We tired very quickly!
So what has happened to the new super fit Manchester United that Ole was promising.
Seriously. There is something badly wrong with the training and coaching set up and before we even think about changing the manager, getting this sorted out is an absolute priority.

Matic is finished at this level; consistently lacking awareness of quick play and making terrible angles constricting our play.
Fred would be far better at the moment
Perreira needs to watch it as he looks like a red card waiting to happen
Rashford has been kicked to pieces
Mata can't even do what he is good at; vision and passes; anymore
    James is a fighter.

Can see us losing this 2-1 if we don't have a functioning mdifield

McTominay has been full of beans

I’d love to see Ole doing what Lampard’s doing at Chelsea, plugging the holes in the squad with youngsters instead of going with has-beens.

That way when we fail to get top 4, at least he has the excuse of going with youth and building for the future.
Playing attacking football and playing youth. I thought Ole is doing that already? I am confused now

Pereira and Matic for the boot. Contributed little or nothing. But we have nobody to take Matic's position

Matic hasn't been that bad. Leicester have created nothing. We're looking very solid defensively.

If we could swap Maddison/Sancho for Mata/Pereira, we'd be there or thereabouts. The doom and gloom here is overstated.

Towards the end of Mourinho's reign, we were poor going forward and poor going backwards. At least now, we're only poor going forwards. But we do have individuals who can get goals, so that should be enough to win a good share of matches.

Hard to know how to change things. I can’t blame Ole for any of this - looking at the choices he has this was probably the best team to field and there’s not much on the bench.

I’d probably stick Gomes and Greenwood on for Mata and Pereira. I’d say Fred for Matic too but we’d be quite lightweight then.

this is all a very delicate juggling act with pieces that just don’t fit in the puzzle

Can't blame the effort. All in all, decent so far. Leicester for all the talk about being on the up didn't do much.

    Need the 2nd goal though.

Ah yes Fred. I cant believe Fred is not preferred to the woeful Matic. Clearly a dud in training

I know people don't like Fred but you can't have him sitting on the bench if this is the best set of midfielders we have available to us.

Would Matic and McTominay's retaining possession stats even be over 50%? Pereira's must be about 2%. We wont challenge for top four with a midfield that does feck all and can't even keep the ball in simple situations.

I hate that I live in a world where Kenny Cunningham is paid to offer his opinions about football.

He's ranting on about the penalty being the wrong decision because the upper body contact wasn't enough to justify a penalty, totally refusing to accept what the host and Moyes are telling him - that Soyuncu clearly takes Rashfords legs from under him.

Then he has a go at VAR for not overturning the referee, despite there being two fellas in the studio disagreeing with him.
